It's funny how three words can change everything. Stay with me, Dekka..

I still can't figure out why I said it. Maybe it was because i didn't want her to leave? Or.. maybe it was the fact that I never wanted that moment to end. Whatever it was though, i don't regret it one bit.

Stay with me..

It's been two days since then, and she has not left my side. Not even once!

Taking a deep breath, I let my eyes wander out the window, to watch the golden glare of the sun sparkle over the water. I can hear Dekka in the other room, readying herself for the day, and I smile to myself.

"Hey you!" She says cheerfully as she walks in, and stands beside me. She slips her hand in mine, and our fingers intertwine. Turning my head to look at her, I can't help but notice her staring at me. "Are you okay?" she asks

"Yeah," I say, giving her a bright smile "It's just so hard to believe that all of this is real. It's feels like a dream, and I really think I need to be pinched"

"That can be arranged, you know." She says teasingly, as a smirk spreads across her face.

She seems so different than before.. I can't really explain it, but she seems so much happier, and a lot less bitter since I told her how I felt.

"Are YOU okay, Dekka?" I asked, pulling the older girl closer, and giving her hand a squeeze

"Of course I am." She said, leaning her forehead forward to touch mine "Not many people can say they caught the breeze, and not only have I caught her, but I get to keep her too." After planting a quick peck on my lips she continued "Maybe I am the one who needs to be pinched."

"That can be arranged, you know" I said, mocking her, as my own smirk took over my face.

We both Giggle a little, and she leans forward again, to give me another kiss. As soon as our lips touch, what was meant to be an innocent kiss turns to anything but.

Suddenly, Sam Runs in the door, interrupting us, and reminding us where we were. "Dekka! I need to talk to you! Now!" He Says loudly, and then he notices how we were standing. "Oh, Um... " he said, "Sorry.." He backed up a few steps. The glare he received from Dekka was deadly.

Sam brushed it off, and continued " I need to talk to you, Dekka." he said, explaining himself. " And Brianna, I heard Jack was looking for you. I think he had something Important to tell you"

Dekka turned and looked at me, giving me a questioning look. I nodded, letting her know I'd come back, after I talked to Jack. Seeming content with my answer, she leaned forward, planting a quick kiss on my lips and walked out, brushing past Sam. He looked at me in awe, and I just shrugged. He smiled slightly, and nodded like he understood, then turned to chase after Dekka.

A few minutes later I walked out to find Jack. Once i got to the door, I took off running. Sam never said where Jack was, so I ran everywhere i could think of. I felt the wind whip through my hair, my shoes wearing down. I ran, searching everywhere, passing person after person, until finally, found him. It took me exactly 28 seconds.

Jack was in his boat house, playing with his newest toy. While jack and Sam were out searching they found a whole train car full of labtops. That's all Jack has been doing since he found them. They didn't call him computer Jack for nothing. I stopped abruptly in front of him.

"Holy crap…!" he said, almost flying out of his seat. "Oh, It just you!"

He sighed, and shifted in his seat, trying to get comfortable. "You'd think I'd be used to that by now." He said, looking up at me "How have you been Brianna? I haven't seen you in a couple of days, I got worried."

The Past couple of days, I have been with Dekka. I used to spend most of the day with Jack, so it's not really surprising that he was worried.

"I'm sorry, Jack. I have just been busy" I answered "I've been doing okay." I want my and Dekka's relationship… If you could call it that, to stay secret. At least for a little while.

"How have you been?" I asked him, sitting on the couch, and making myself comfortable.

"Oh I have been just Great!" He said, just a little too enthusiastically. "I missed having a computer so much!"

"That's great Jack!" I said, giving him a small smile "So, Sam said you had something important to tell me?"

"Oh.. yeah." He said, blushing a little, and suddenly turning shy. "I do."

"Well, spit it out then, Jack" I said, wondering what has gotten into him.

"Well.. you see…" He said, his blush turning an even deeper red "I love you, Brianna"
