"Well good morning Alphonse." his mom said in a sweet voice. Al looked up at her and rubbed his eyes with his tiny fists. "Big Brother said Santa came and left us presents." Al said to his mother very matter-of-factly. His father laughed in a very deep, booming, voice, "Oh he did, did he?" The large man shot a questioning glance at Edward. Ed looked down at his breakfast, which was the usual bacon and eggs, and grinned. Al pulled out a chair and ate his breakfast. After a while the brothers finished their meal and looked pleadingly at their parents, "Can we go open presents? Can we, can we, can we?" After a few minutes of puppy dog eyes the adults finally broke. The whole family walked into the living room an as they entered the first sight they saw was the large Evergreen placed beautifully in the center of the room. It's needles were a brilliant green and it gave off an aroma that truly is the sent of Christmas and can make even the Grinch grin. Underneath the tree were presents, lots of presents. All the presents were wrapped. Some had bows and some had ribbon and some even had lace. Some were wrapped in blue or gold or brilliant red paper. Ed grabbed Al's hand and said "Best Christmas Ever"
