K.O's shoes splashed the mud against the sidewalk. This wad the most dangerous path, he knew, but also the fastest way of getting to the Box-More castle. The sounds of people screaming, robots whirring and the hard downpour assaulted our hero's small ears.
He didnt want to be here anymore.
K.O had to get away from all of this- our small hero ran and ran, untill he slipped in mud and ran off a cliff.
How convenient.
He yelped in surprise as he fell. How had he not noticed the CLIFF? Would the impact of the ground kill him? Did he fail his quest before it even started?
Life seemes to have a different plan for K.O.
The whirring of a robot was blatantly obvious, metal clinking. K.O sighed, couldn't his day get any better? He landed in a tree- at least he was alive. The child looked down, trying to spot the robot.
Someone else was down there.
Their was a girl fighting the robot- more smashing it to pieces. She had purple hair, tied up in a bun, her torn clothes soaked to her. The belt, adorned with weapons and seemingly useless items, and her boots made the kid in the tree realize something.
This girl was a Thief.
Speaking of the thief, she was dusting her hands off, the robot smashed to peices. K.O silently gasped. A thief in the woods? He didn't notice he was slipping off the tree untill he was falling. He yelped in surprise, twisting so he'd land on his back. "Oof!" K.O puffed out. He didn't land as graciously as he had wanted too. He opened his eyes only to see the thief holding a knife in his face. "Who are you?" The thief questioned our hero, who was quaking in anxiety. "Er... My name is K.O." he replied. The thief sighed, pulling her knife away. "Enid." she held her arm out to K.O, who happily exepted her offer to help him up. "Thank you!" the child happily squeaked. Enid sighed as K.O turned to leave. "Where are YOU going?" K.O stopped. Where WAS he going? "Er... no clue. Gotta go rescue my mom." Enid sighed. "I'm coming with you- Don't want to have your death on my mind." Enid said, walking over to K.O. "OK!" the young boy said, beconing for Enid to come.
This was going to be a LOOONG journey, wasn't it?
