-Rest Stop, Somewhere off the Interstate-

In a corner booth in the back of the small diner, Sam, Dean, and Castiel sat together, the waitress doing her usual job of handing out menus. She walked up with a smile, took their orders, then grabbed the menus and walked off to tend to the other small groups in the restaurant. As her back was turned, Dean did his usual check to see if he should hit on the waitress.

"Dean, do you really think now is the best time for this?" Sam asked, knowing his brother's usual shtick.

"Just looking Sam, just looking... Are you sure we don't have time?"

"Dean!" said Sam sternly.

"What? I'm only kidding..." said Dean, acting as if Sam didn't know what he was currently thinking.

Shaking his head, Sam said, "Alright Cass, now that we're here, tell us everything you know about this... rip in the timeline."

Sighing, he said, "There is nothing more to tell Sam. An angel has gone rogue, the identity of whom I do not know, and stopped the incident that happened in the pizzeria in 1987."

"The one with the deaths of five children?" Sam clarified.

"That's correct," Castiel affirmed.

Confused, Dean asked, "Wait, wait, how are you sure this was an angel? What about the other gods who can also control time. I'm very sure I didn't hallucinate meeting Elliot Ness when Kronos kicked my ass back to the 1940s."

Taking this in, Castiel retorted, "I thought that may be the case as well, I didn't want my brothers or sisters involved in this. But Kronos has been relatively quiet since you last seen him, and after talking with the other gods, none had a hand in this. So yes, I'm sure it was one of our own."

Still confused, Dean asked, "Ok, but even then, what's wrong with saving lives? Especially those of innocent kids?"

Sighing, Sam commented, "Remember Balthazar?"

With a look of realisation, Dean said, "Oh yeah, the whole Titanic thing..."

Castiel replied, "Exactly. Saving these children may cause the same uncontrollable events when Balthazar saved the Titanic. The lives of these five children, will lead to even more deaths."

"So let me guess, you're going to beam us back Scotty?" asked Dean in his usual wisecracking manner.

Nodding, Castiel said, "Yes, I'm sending you both back to 1987, to find the angel responsible. Nothing else. Once you give me an identity, we can confront this angel, and then you will have the answers to your questions."

The brothers nodded, understanding their next job, before the waitress came back with their food.

"Sorry for the wait fellas, our head cook was sick today so our replacement is a bit slow." Handing out their food, "Anyways, here you boys are, now will that be all for today?"

Dean opened his mouth as if to retort with one of his pick-up lines, until Sam gave him a firm elbow in the side, causing him to shut up. Grunting, Dean said, "No, thank you, that's all."

Smiling, the waitress left. Dean then gave Sam a sideways glare, as if to say "Why did you do that?" Sam just shrugged, pretending to not understand Dean's usual anger whenever he did this to his brother. Dean just sighed and went to chowing down on his usual bacon cheeseburger.

"Are you sure that's wise Dean? You did almost have a heart attack in the car earlier," said Castiel.

Questioning the intelligence of his best friend, Dean retorted, "It's a figure of speech Cass, I'm not actually going to have a heart attack."

Confused, "Oh? I thought you knew how high your chances of a heart attack were so I assumed you were serious."

"Of course I'm not serious...wait," suddenly worried now, "high? What do you mean by high?"

"Well, this constant eating of bacon cheeseburgers gives you almost a 30% chance of dying from a heart attack somewhere in your early 50s."

Suddenly feeling uncomfortable, Dean slowly put his food down, looking worried. Turning away from the table, Dean shouted, "Excuse me, waitress? We'd like the check, please."

-10 Minutes Later-

Muttering to himself, Dean said, "30%? I can't believe this, I hope we get this show on the road right now."

The trio were now outside the diner, staying careful to be out of site of any prying eyes. Castiel then walked over to the brothers.

"Are you two prepared for the journey ahead?"

Shrugging, Dean said, "I've been ready Cass, just waiting on you."

Sam replied, "Yeah, let's get going."

"Remember, just go back and confirm the identity of the angel, nothing else. Do not interfere with the angel, otherwise you may risk skewing the timeline even more. Contact me when you are finished."

With that, Castiel pointed two fingers from each hand outward and placed them on both the brothers' heads. When Sam and Dean opened their eyes again, they found themselves in the middle of a parking lot filled with cars. The sun shined overhead, revealing their location to be in a mall-type area. In front of them, was the infamous Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

Sighing in exasperation, Dean said, "Well Sammy, ready for round two?"
