"Hi Mr Jackson, I'm Oswin." A short girl with purple hair greeted Percy cheerfully.

"You can just call me Percy." He replied; he hated formalities.

He looked around to the other campers and he could see a boy, with slightly tanned skin and light brown hair, pulling the hair of a girl, with blonde curly hair, who was giving him a scowl in return.

Percy wondered for a minute whether he should tell the boy to knock it off or not, he decided that if the girl asked him to intervene then he would.

"Hey sup dude?" A boy with light brown shaggy hair said to the hair pulling boy in an English accent.

"Hey Mark." The boy replied.

While they were conversing about the latest prank they were going to pull, Percy tried to remember everyone's names and faces. He didn't want to call people by their wrong name like Mr D did, even if Mr D did do it on purpose.

"Attention everyone, please tell me your names and if you've already been accepted into a cabin or not." Percy said after Mark and the other boy had finished their conversation.

"I'm Mark and I'm the son of Hermes'." Mark said with a proud smile.

"I'm Matt and I'm the son of Apollo." The hair pulling boy said.

"I'm Ri and I'm the daughter of Demeter." The girl who was getting her hair pulled said quietly.

"I'm Oswin and I'm the daughter of Apollo." The girl who greeted him said.

"I'm Gandy Elk and I'm the son of Demeter." A tall gangly boy with sandy brown hair, buck teeth, and steel grey eyes said in an obvious Louisiana accent.

"I'm Karl and I'm the son of Hephaestus." A short boy with a feminine type body, black hair, and almond shaped hazel eyes said flashing Percy a smile with teeth so white he could have sworn the sun was reflecting off of them.

"I'm Cathy and I'm the daughter of Ares." A stocky girl with short brown hair and glasses said.

The more Percy looked around, the more he saw that none of the campers looked like new comers. Didn't Chiron trust him with the new comers? Didn't he think he could handle them? Percy then took a deep breath and turned back to the campers.

"Alright everyone, I want you all to go to your cabins and unpack, we will have a discussion after dinner tonight." He said finally. Some of the campers groaned in protest but others were happy to be able to see their cabins.

Percy smiled slightly; maybe this job wouldn't be as hard as he thought.

A/N: Sorry for the short and horrible chapter, I am currently trying to get things flowing.

Also, if you're from Louisiana don't be offended, Louisiana accents are the BEST accents ever.

I'm still accepting OCs.
