Ceiling tiles

Kurt sighed tiredly and scooped the flour into the gooey mixture when suddenly he felt a presence and a breath brush past his ear.

He rolled his eyes to expect to see Blaine or someone standing over him… Well not Blaine… He was a hobbit so... He spun.

"Holy gaga!" He let out a gasp and clapped a hand to his chest when he saw the face dangling opposite him, noses almost touching. He growled at the redhead who seemed to be dangling by a rope attached around his middle, tied into place.

"Howdy,"

"Eli! What the hell!" Kurt glowered at the boy hanging from the ceiling. Blue eyes trailed up the length of the rope to find an old ceiling tile removed, pushed back and a rope in the grasps of a girl with black short hair and glasses. She blinked.

Kurt's furious stare fell back to the boy who hung upside down. His arms were folded and his legs crossed around the rope. He shrugged nonchalantly and looked past Kurt to observe what he was doing. "you know… just hanging around..." He smirked and began to sway side to side. Kurt protectively stood in front of his mixture. "What are you doing Kurtie?" He asked narrowing his eyes and trying to see past Kurt's block of a body. Kurt glared.

"Nothing. Baking a cake."

Eli's eyes flickered with hopefulness and his suspicion dropped, his eyes wide, his arms dropped and dangled next to his ears. "Oh really! Can I have some when it's done?" He asked his tongue poking out the side of his grin.

"No!" Kurt snapped. "It's for Blaine. He's down at the moment."

Eli blinked and his face fell. "Will he share..?"

"Eli!"

The redhead let out a groan and sighed. "Fine. Beam me up Maddi!" He called quickly and the girl with glasses started to pull him up slowly. He jolted upwards with every tug.

"We'll meet again next time, Kurticus." Eli told the brunette who watched in fascination as Eli slowly disappeared again - "Faster!" He had yelled up - and the tile was replaced. Kurt blinked before shaking his head.

What the hell had he been dropped into?
