The Gift Giver
He doesn't understand. He can't understand. There is no way I can explain to him what it's like to live with this. No book, no lecture can prepare him for the hell that comes with this disease.
I'm one of the lucky ones, he doesn't seem to realize that.
He thinks this is some sort of blessing, a form of liberation, and I'm scared for him. I can't make him listen, I can't make him understand, and I can't even stop him.
He thinks that I'd be giving him a gift, I know that it'll only ever be a curse.
