She couldn't keep the smile off her face. She'd just received the best news. The fellowship she'd applied for accepted her. That meant she wouldn't be going home for the summer.
She couldn't wait to spend the whole summer with him. It was going to be great. She felt like she was finally ready to break down all her walls. It would make their relationship stronger. Maybe even the fighting would stop. She knew a lot of it was her own fault.
Walking into her dorm room her heart stopped. On her bed was a box of her things with a letter on top.
Edward was gone.
