At that Julia turned to look and saw the little silver box...
She just stared. She did not expect that. A box. A tiny box containing an engagement ring. An innocent little box that contained either heartbreak or happiness.
She thought back to yesterday when they were relaxing at the beach after solving their latest case. It was far too hot so she decided to roll down her black stockings as to not overheat. One certain detective said she was being very scandalous! They ran into the water and started messing around. It was a perfect day.
The box was still there. She looked up into the hopeful eyes of Detective William Murdoch. The man she loved. There was only one answer in her mind.
"Julia Ogden, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?"
"Yes!"
