-Week 3, Day 3-

As everyone made their way towards the cafe, they stopped when they comes across a very, shady and lanky looking young man.
"Hey you people, you're cops, right?" the shady young man asked.
"Don't compare my team to those pigs!" Dan shouted in annoyance.
"You do know that Chrys is a cop, right?" Elise reminded.
"Was it pointed at her?" Dan asked indecorously.
"I am merely a detective." Romance Detective replied, "However, my subordinate happens to be a member of the Police Force." she stated.
"Please don't introduce me as your subordinate... we're suppose to be partners...'' Chrys said.
"Regardless! You're looking to whoever robbed the museum last night, am I correct?'' the young man asked with a smirk.
"Um, yes, right...'' Chrys replied.
"Yeah! What's it to you?'' Denton stated.
"In that case, I may or may not have some intel for you...'' the young man claimed.
"You? A shady looking moron had intel for us?" Dan pointed out, "You're not fooling any of us." he said.
"Regardless. We should at least here him out first." Mandy stated.
Chrys nodded in agreement, "Sir, if you know something about the case, it would be best if you just went ahead and told us." she said.
The young man let's out smug grin, "Well with that attitude, maybe I don't know anything at all! Have a nice day, ladies!" the young man stated.
"With that attitude and that ugly face of yours... we all know, you really know nothing." Brick stated bluntly as the rest let's out a snicker making the young man glare at him.
"Wait." Romance Detective called.
"Oh, so you're interested, hmm?" the young man asked with a smug grin.
"Detective, we can't go around cutting deals with a shady character and umm... ugly character." Chrys said as the rest let's out another snicker, "We can solve this case without his help." she claimed.
"We should hear him out." Romance Detective replied.
"Are you nuts?!" Trixie exclaimed.
Chrys facefaulted, "Okay fine." she said, "You can start by telling who you are exactly." she pointed out.
"I am Lupin!" the young man introduced himself, "But that's not important here, I need something from you, see." he claimed.
Lupin
Lupin is a lanky-looking young man with a fair complexion, short black hair and green, tareme eyes. He is currently wearing a white coat over a black t-shirt with a nuclear logo, black jeans and white sneakers.
"And pray tell what it is?" Mandy asked in annoyance.
Lupin then showed them a poster of a young girl with blue hair tied in pigtails.
"What the heck is this?'' Kafuu asked.
"There's a certain concert tonight that I must absolutely acquire a ticket to... if you get one for me, I might be willing to talk." Lupin said.
"Canary? Canary is having a concert here tonight?" Denton asked in shock.
"You know the girl in the poster?" Honne asked.
Denton nodded, "Hell yeah! Canary is a famous pop idol! I'm quite a fan of her." he admitted.
"Back off, pipsqueak! I am Canary's biggest fan!" Lupin snarled.
"What's your problem? I never said I'm her biggest fan, just a casual fan." Denton stated.
"This is ridiculous." Elise quipped.
"An impossible task. Let's go, Romance Cop and friends." Romance Detective said.
"Sorry sir. But looks like you're out of luck." Chrys said.
"No! See! This exactly why I am asking you! I know you've got connections!" Lupin squawked in panic.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Please stop following us." Chrys chastised.
"And while you're at it, go jump on a bridge." Dan added.
"Dan!" Chris scolded.
"What? It's a lot easier in getting rid of this motherfucker." Dan replied with a blank look.
"But I can help you! I swear! I saw them! I saw them last night! The thief! Just get me a ticket to Canary's concert and I can tell you more!" Lupin cried in panic.
"Oh now you're crying for us to hear you out." Brick said with a blank look.
"Please! I have to go to that concert! I already made all the preparations! I have to see Canary! I love her!" Lupin begged.
"And now you're begging for us." Brick said with a blank look.
"Even I don't cry like this whenever I can't go to a concert." Denton admitted.
"Love... you say...'' Romance Detective spoke.
Elise facepalmed, "Here we go again." she muttered.
"If you're such a big fan, you should've bought tickets in advance like everyone else." Chrys said.
"They were all sold out by the time I... look, it doesn't matter! Just get me a ticket and I'll tell you everything I know!" Lupin said in desperation.
"Leave it us!" Romance Detective declared.
"Wh... D-Detective! You can't be serious!" Chrys exclaimed in disbelief.
"This is a case of love, Romance Cop. It's our duty to solve it!" Romance Detective claimed.
"Our duty to solve is finding the thief!" Chris exclaimed.
"My only duty is to uphold the law! Not get some concert tickets for a shady fanboy!" Chrys argued.
"Romance Cop and friends... we must not forsake this lovestruck man. Even... if his intentions are... questionable." Romance Detective stated.
"Enough verbal abuse! Here's my address!" Lupin exclaimed as he handed Chrys a piece of paper, "Bring me a ticket or the deal is off!" he threatened.
"Are you threatening us?! Do you want a fist driving inside your mouth?!" Dan exclaimed in anger as he was about to pounce on Lupin, but Ninja Dave and Brick holds him back.
Lupin was unnerved by Dan's threat, so he quickly fled off.
"Well... that was a thing." Ninja Dave said.
"Are you sure about this, detective?" Chrys asked.
"That man could hold the key in solving this case." Romance Detective replied.
"What if he doesn't?" Chrys asked.
"We'll solve it on our own." Romance Detective said.
"You know we can solve this case, all on our own, without that moron's help!" Dan exclaimed.
"It's worth the risk." Romance Detective replied.
"Well... if you're that set on it, then I had no choice. Besides, it's not like we have any other leads." Chrys admitted.
"We need to find him a ticket." Romance Detective said.
"Yeah... but to where?" Trixie asked.
"Oh, don't worry about that. I'll just give him mine." Chrys claimed.
"Really?" Elise asked in surprise.
"You're a fan? That was an unexpected twist...'' Romance Detective commented.
"N-no... it's not like... ahh, I'll explain everything at lunch!" Chrys stated.
"Yeah... I am getting hungry." Chris admitted.
And with that, the group made their way towards the cafe when Honne asks Denton a question, "What about you, Denton? Aren't you going to buy tickets?'' she asked.
"I already had a ticket. But that one is for her concert in Neo-City in the upcoming weeks, so I can wait." Denton replied, "Plus... I heard that she's doing a collaboration with Adagio Dazzle." he stated.
"A collaboration concert with Adagio, that's sounds nice." Trixie mused.
bzzzttt...
-1:00 PM Cafe-
Later everyone are gathered around at one table, eating their lunch as Chrys spoke.
"I'm not normally upfront about this because sometimes people gets weird when they find out that you're related to a celebrity but...'' Chrys started, "... Canary is actually my cousin. Whether I tried to hide it or not, we look enough alike that it usually comes up anyway..." she explained.
"Upon closer inspection, you do have the same face." Romance Detective commented.
"Yeah, from the color of your hair and your eyes, you do look alike!" Denton pointed out, "Canary just looks younger, no offense." he said.
"None taken." Chrys replied, "No, no, she's much cuter than me. She's an idol after all." she stated.
"You mustn't speak ill of yourself, Romance Cop." Romance Detective said.
"It's only the truth. I'm mature enough to admit my shortcomings." Chrys admitted.
"Well... at least you're honest. Unlike Dan over here." Elise stated.
"Hey!" Dan shouted, "But I don't deny it." he said with a casual smile.
"Glad that you're being honest, Dan." Chris said sarcastically as took a bite of his burger.
"Anyway, now you know one of my secrets. Can I ask you something in return, Detective?'' she asked.
"Yes." Romance Detective replied.
"Your rose... do you ever take it out?" Chrys asked, "I mean, doesn't it get in the way when you're eating?'' she stated.
"She has a point." Mandy said in agreement.
"I've had this rose from my mouth since birth." Romance Detective replied.
Everyone snaps their heads towards her and gave her a weird look, "From birth? Seriously? Are you fucking serious?!" Ninja Dave exclaimed in disbelief.
"R-really? Wouldn't it be withered by now?" Chrys asked.
"As long as their is love in this world... this rose will never die." Romance Detective replied cooly.
"I say it's plastic." Dan quipped.
"How romantic. Even if it doesn't really make any sense." Chrys commented.
"Ditto." Mandy said in agreement.
"It seems you all still have much to learn, Romance Cop and friends." Romance Detective pointed out.
"You're always acting so mysterious, of course we'd get confused." Chrys replied.
"We'd understand better if you spoke more plainly every once in a while, you know?" Mandy pointed out, "Then again... we'll probably get used to it, since we got use to Dan's ramblings." she stated.
"Damn straight!" Dan said in agreement with a smug grin.
"Don't pat yourself on the back." Trixie grumbled.
"Well then... let's get going. I just hope that Lupin guy can actually help us out." Chrys stated.
"Yes." Romance Detective replied in agreement.
"If he doesn't... he's a getting a ticket in Painsville!" Dan exclaimed.
"I'm with Dan on this one." Ninja Dave said in agreement.
"Count me in." Kafuu claimed.
"Just don't kill him." Elise muttered.
Honne finished eating her cake, "Mmm! Yummy!" she chirped.
And with that, the group left the cafe.
bzzzttt...
-2:20 PM Strange Garage-
Later the group arrives at a strange garage somewhere located in the city.
"Ah, you're early. Welcome to my lab! Now hand over the ticket!" Lupin demanded.
"Hand over the information first!" Dan demanded back.
"I wish you ask politely... but here..." Chrys said as she handed Lupin a white ticket.
Lupin's face slightly flustered, "A real ticket for Canary's concert!" he exclaimed in delight, "Hmmmm... excellent! Now I can..." he tried to say something but was interrupted.
"Excuse me! But it's time you hold up your end of the deal." Chrys reminded.
"Hm... wha?'' Lupin said with a smug smirk.
"You said you saw the thief last night, now spill it out!" Brick demanded.
"Tell us who it is already." Chrys said.
"Oh... that... I made that all up. I just wanted to see Canary." Lupin confessed.
"Why you little...'' Dan growled in anger.
"So this was all a waste of time... what in the world possessed you to lie to the police?" Chrys asked in annoyance.
Lupin let's out a blissful smile, "My deep feelings of love! They spoke to me, through telepathy. Yes, my love for Canary drove me to do this!" he exclaimed.
"Oh... dear Lord... you are insane!" Trixie stated in disgust.
"You! You are nothing but a piece of trash!" Mandy said.
"If the path of to true love is what you seek... lies will only lead you to astray." Romance Detective stated.
"What do you know? Now that I can get to that concert, my feelings will definitely reach her!" Lupin exclaimed, "And oh, since you guys, did end up being kind enough to bring me a ticket, I guess I owe you one." he said.
"You guess?" Elise asked indecorously.
"My skills may actually come in handy for you. I am a scientist you know." Lupin stated.
"Okay that's enough! This is obstruction of justice! You're under arrest!" Chrys declared.
Lupin let's out a smug smirk, "I thought this might happen, so I've already prepared my escape!" he claimed as he throws a small ball on the floor, which then exploded, releasing a huge chunk of smoke, "You won't stop me from seeing my sweet Canary! Hahahahahaha!" he shouted with a diabolical laughter before disappearing.
"Fuck! Where is he? Where? Where? Where is he?!" Dan demanded in anger.
"A smoke bomb?! Ah, shoot! Where'd he run off to?!" Chrys cried.
"Trixie can't see a thing!" Trixie yelled in panic.
"Evading arrest? Is there something causing his love to grow so twisted?'' Romance Detective asked.
Then the smokes clears out and Lupin, nor even his shadow, is nowhere to be seen.
Chrys facefaulted, "I think that's just the kind of person he is. You heard what he said right? His love for Canary spoke to him, he's crazy." she said.
"His love... spoke..." Romance Detective muttered.
"I don't think he meant it literally." Chrys pointed out.
"Yeah, like Chrys said, he's crazy." Mandy said.
"His phrasing was strange. He called it telepathy." Romance Detective said.
"You... really shouldn't take that guy so seriously." Chrys advised in concern.
Suddenly, Chrys' radio began to make some sounds as Heather spoke, "Romance Cop. You there?" she called.
"Chief!" Chrys replied as she grabs her radio out.
"The vase just turned up. I need all of you to retrieve it." Heather spoke through the radio.
"Yes, ma'am!" Chrys replied.
"Guess our only problem left is the identity of the thief." Mandy pointed out.
Chrys nodded, "I believe so, I think we should go and get that vase back to the museum." she suggested.
"What about Lupin?" Trixie asked.
"Oh we'll see him again." Dan said, "If he thinks that we'll let him get away for tricking us, then he had another thing coming." he claimed.
"I'm with Dan on this one." Ninja Dave replied in agreement.
"Count me in!" Denton quipped.
"By all means, please do kill him." Elise said bluntly with a blank look.
