A/N: I am so sorry. I have not been inspired at all for so long... but something good happened. So I'm writing again, yay!
I am making sundays my official weekly-post-day - how does that sound?
The chapter may be short, but I will make a priority of posting every week instead of posting long chapters (too much pressure)
To the get the boring stuff over with: I, obviosly, do not have any relations whatsoever to or own anything that has to do with vampire diaries.
Well, I will not keep you any longer!
Have a pleasent read...
I'm a bit nervous about this chapter. That's never happened before. Huh...
Elijah was an amazing teacher, truly remarkable. He made every minute an interesting one and ended his class with giving us an assignment: to teach him something. I liked the idea but had no clue what you were supposed to teach a teacher. I just had to figure out what to write about. I decided, as I walked to my next class, to ask my grandmother for inspiration once I got home.
The rest of my classes passed quickly. Most of my teachers were not as great as Elijah seemed, but they were good enough. Caroline was another one of my favorites; she was my History teacher. She was a gorgeous blonde with a perky attitude. Also, she appeared to be one of those people who like to organize things and is involved with a lot of different charities and events. Later that assumption would turn out to be accurate.
As I was walking down the hall after my last lesson of the day I was hearing strange noises from one of the classrooms I was about to pass. The room was not lit, yet the noises grew stronger and I recognized them to be moans and groans. I quickened my pace, suddenly in a hurry.
I wasn't one who thought it was terribly wrong to make out, however heavily, inside a classroom in the middle of the day. Neither was I a person who got a kick out of eavesdropping on people doing so. Just as I had been about to pass the unlit room I heard something like glass crashing and a high-pitched scream.
Acting on pure instinct I had rushed to the door and swung it open, before I had time think twice about it, and entered the room to make sure no one had been hurt. Instead of finding bloody wounds or a crying face, I saw two partly undressed people by the teacher's desk, embracing each other. One with a blonde and fluffy mane, the other with short, ruffled hair and a buttoned up shirt. A vase had been knocked to the ground at their feet. Splinters of glass, water, as well as a bunch of fresh flowers, were scattered randomly around part of the floor.
The darkness had made it hard for me to see them clearly but I could tell that neither of them was a student and I was fairly certain they were either shocked or embarrassed, perhaps a combination of the two.
I was stunned, but eventually found my voice; surprisingly, I was the first to say anything.
"Oh," was, brilliantly, my first comment. Which was more of a sound than an actual word. And then I started stuttering. "I-I-I'm sorry… I, uh, heard someone scream and I-" I shut myself, made a mental note to pat myself on the back for that later, clenched a fist and took a deep breath. "I'm just gonna go." I stared at them for a few seconds, awkwardly, before nodding once. "Yeah." I looked down and closed the door before I started to resume my path toward the cafeteria.
"Awkward," I whispered to myself, hoping I was never going to have to see either of them ever again. Sadly, my wish is rarely any ones command.
Caroline was utterly stunned, incredibly flustered and severely embarrassed. This had never happened before. Her and Klaus had been seeing each other for quite some time, they had also made a terrible habit out of them heavily making out every time he came to visit her at work. At first she had been worried one of her students may walk in on them, but as it happened more frequently she became comfortable with it: obviously too comfortable. Everybody knows that as you grow more comfortable you tend to get sloppy. Caroline just hadn't considered that it would happen to her.
"Ohmygod," Caroline whispered after the girl had closed the door behind her. "Ohmygod," She repeated louder, sounding slightly more alarmed. Klaus was frozen in surprise. "Klaus?" His head jerked in Caroline's direction and his eyes met hers. Klaus opened his mouth as if to say something but then he stopped and Caroline's worries shifted from the situation at hand to the man whose arms were around her.
"I have to make a call," murmured Klaus and quickly left the room. Caroline called after him, eyebrows pulled together in confusion. "What? Klaus!" She stared at the door and spoke to no one in particular when she said, "What the hell just happened?"
As the door slammed shut behind Klaus, leaving his beloved Caroline alone in the room, he started to feel excited. To have stumbled upon the girls whereabouts by chance… His believe in luck had grown stronger.
He hurriedly dialed a phone number to deliver the news. It rang three times and he felt very excited when he told the man on the other end of the line what too many had said before. He should have felt privileged to be the one to do so that time, for it would be the last.
"I found her."
A/N: So... what did you think?
I would love it if you guys would let me know what you want/think is about to happen!
Please R&R.
