Mariyun: So here is chapter 2. Note the special effects will be limited due to budget cuts.

Ikuto: And as you can see she's crazy

Amu: Let's just get this over with.

Mariyun: Right so I don't own Shugo Chara or any of its products enjoy

Ikuto had been following Amu all day and was bored out of his mind. He'd spent the whole time listening to Amu and her friends talk about hair, shoes, and make-up. Currently she was in a meeting with the school guardians. "Man, why does this job gotta be so booorrrrinngg," Ikuto groaned.

"Quit complaining. I have to listen to you," Amu whispered back.

"What was that Amu," Kukai asked.

"Oh it's nothing just talking to myself," Amu replied she gave an obviously fake chuckle. Ikuto didn't like this gesture. It was boring and he was a little angry that she was ignoring him. He had hoped that since Amu could see him then he'd be given far more attention.

"According to the recent patrols there's been mysterious spike in X-egg activities," Kukai said leaning back in his chair casually. "With Easter gone it doesn't make any sense either and worst off they're attacking civilians oddly enough." Ikuto started listening at that statement. He whispered something to Amu feeling self-conscious about the Charas.

"It is odd because X-Eggs are really only supposed to want to attack people with Charas they don't need to attack people since often they'll just drift along till they break or something," Amu relayed back the angels words to her friends.

"That's why I believe someone has to be controlling them," Tadase said.

"Is that even possible?" Yaya asked. Ikuto whispered something to Amu again.

"It is but it's not humanly possible a Chara could if it had enough power. That's highly unlikely though since no matter how dark the personality a Chara pure spirit," Amu repeated again.

"So then you mean to tell us that the problem is a Chara?" Rima asked. Ikuto once again told Amu what to say.

"Yeah either that or a demon," Amu said with a smile and everyone starred at her in with blank faces.

"Umm Amu demons don't exist," Rima said with a stressed face. Amu suddenly realized just what she had said.

"You didn't say anything about there being demons!" she whispered harshly to the angel, probably looking a bit crazy to her friends.

"I told you about that this morning though," Ikuto responded innocently.

"Amu have you been sleeping all right lately?" Rima asked worriedly.

"I'm perfectly fine!" Amu exclaimed.

"You sure? Remember you can tell us anything," Kukai said worryingly patting her on the shoulder.

"I swear to god I'm fine," she sighed. "Look, I'm just tired because some cat kept whining by window last night."

"Ok, but remember if you ever feel bad come talk to us," Tadase smiled as placed on her shoulder. As the meeting ended Ikuto found himself wanting to talk with Amu some more only she refused.

"I can't just go around talking to thin air Ikuto. I may talk with Ran, Miki, Dia, and Su but I still try to make sure I'm in a private area or at least with my friends," Amu explained.

"So if weren't invisible you'd talk to me?" Ikuto asked with a bit of a smirk as he snapped his fingers turning it to a small black cat. "Will this do?"

"All right, but now I'll be talking to a cat like some crazy person," she muttered as Ikuto joyfully jumped into Amu's arms.

The two walked a bit and stopped by a stand that appeared to sell some kind of food item. Amu ordered something that looked like a fish shaped pastry and handed one to the curious angel who sniffed at it before biting tail first. It was really good and the center was chocolate his new favorite flavor. They continued to eat on a park bench. A man with pale brown hair walked up to Amu and the hair on the back of Ikuto's neck stirred.

"That's an interesting cat you have," The man said his voice dripped in an ice-cold tone despite the kind words.

"Oh yeah cute isn't he," Amu responded nervously to the stranger.

"Yes. Like a little angel am I right?" The man spoke icily and Ikuto crept closer to Amu.

"More like a little devil really," Amu said shooting a glare.

"No he's an angel but sadly even angels can be lost if you're not careful so take care," with that the man left leaving with the two with a bad feeling.

"What was that all about?" Amu wondered. Ikuto sensed it just by looking in the man's eyes and knew exactly what he meant. He's a monster and he's was warning them.

On the way back to Amu's house Ikuto started acting more on edge as he kept an open eye out for any trouble. He knew demons were out to get Amu and people like her, they always were, but the fact was he didn't think the demon would be so direct.

"Guard duty is pretty boring job right, Utau," Nagihiko said as they stood looking over the roof there old middle school from back when the two were still alive. "How do you think everyone's been doing since we left?"

The blonde girl who stood next to the long indigo haired boy gave silent nod and passed a piece of paper into his hand.

Reading the paper the boy gave a soft chuckle. "Well, yes it goes without saying that they have been sad about our death. Still I wonder what they've been up to." It was then the boy saw a familiar figure with long blonde hair that now needed to be kept in a braid to keep it from trailing on the ground. She still looked much like she did before Nagihiko had died except she'd grown just a tiny bit. He smiled and was about leap down to the ground to follow his charge when he turned one last time to look at the blonde. "Will you be alright on your own?"

The only response he got and needed was the sharp glare that Utau gave him. Nagihiko let out a chuckle knowing that Utau would be just fine.

Utau did not see the point in waiting on the school's roof any longer and left to walk down the streets looking for the house she'd been to a handful of times but could not remember in the slightest. It's funny but despite the fact that she lived in the city her whole life she didn't really remember it. It once bothered her to not remember anything but now she was used to having the large gaping holes in her memory.

She was used to being dead.

So she walked down the street holding onto a notepad tightly glancing up and down from time to time as she looked for the right address. Eventually, she spotted the house and watched as a boy no older then her when she'd been alive.

Utau did not recognize the boy immediately. She thought perhaps it was an older brother of Kukai's or maybe someone else. He was so much taller now and his face had matured greatly. Utau looked at a piece of her long hair with an almost sorrowful expression. Kukai had changed while she had stayed completely still. The taste in her mouth was bittersweet as she followed in and readied herself to watch her charge.

Tadase was walking home after another day at school. He had always thought that by this point his life would be finally peaceful. While, Easter's defeat had brought a form of peace this new problem had changed things in Seiyo. He felt frustrated about the matter and in this frustration had kicked his foot on the curb of the sidewalk.

His chara Kiseki merely looked annoyed at his master's foolish actions. "Proper kings do not kick the curb in frustration."

"I know," he said somewhat bitterly. It was then he saw an X-Egg floating in the street. It ran at the sight of Tadase so the King took to chasing it down the street till the egg stopped in a dead-end alley. A tall dark figure whose presence sent chills down the spine stood at the end holding on to the smoking remains of an X-Egg.

"You there, what did you do to that X-Egg?" Tadase called out to the figure his voice shaking slightly for a reason he wasn't sure.

"It was taken care of," the man said with honey words that though were not harsh carried an unseen darkness. "You have no reason to be concerned about any of this Tadase. Now just run back home."

"How do you know my name?" Tadase said shakily as the man slowly walked closer.

"I know everything about what goes on this town," he smiled and grabbed Tadase's hand. "I sense you have a grudge against someone. It's a strong grudge that will one day consume you if left unchecked."

"What do you mean?" Tadase said dumbfounded.

"Yes, I could help you with that. All you'd need is to let me help you," He said sweetly as he held the boy close. A dark yet soothing sensation flowed from the man to Tadase. It was a similar feeling to when the boy had been under the influence of X-Eggs. "You see, I am a lot like the embryo you search for. I can grant any wish" A sharp pain ran through his head.

"Get away from Tadase!" Kiseki screamed and attempted to harm the man but was simply swatted away.

"Oh dear how rude of me to forget my manners I am known as the Dream Eater Soran." The man purred as Tadase slowly felt his mind slip into unconsciousness.

Mariyun: I am the sandwich.

*Everyone sweatdrops*

Mariyun: Okay let's get serious for a minute. If you want an image of dark Kiseki I'm working on it. Also I promise to upload sooner.
