It was only ten minutes later, that Troy, Gia, Jake and Noah had returned to the base. Pure exhaustion was shown on their face as they leaned against the walls of the base for support. Troy then realized the situation as his green eyes shot up, and scurried his way to Emma's side. He kneeled down, taking her small hand into his as he looked at Tensou.

"How is she?" He asked, murmuring softly as his thumb grazes across her skin. "Right now, she is stable...her injuries seem to already be healing though." Troy let out an exhale he didn't know he had been holding as he nodded, looking down at his girlfriend. He then heard a small sound escape her lips, and he looked at Emma. The pink ranger slowly opened her eyes with a small grunt, as her head tilted to the side. Her hair fell on her nose as she looked at the concerned face of her boyfriend.

"T-troy" she spoke up quietly relief filling her knowing that Troy was alright, to which the red ranger was happy. "Emma..you're safe now.." The red ranger reassured her. In an instant, Gia's exhaustion was replaced with adrenaline as she almost bolted to her bestfriend's side. "Em!" She exclaimed, tears pooling up in her eyes. Emma tilted her head to the side as she looked at the yellow ranger. "Gia..." she was also relieved that her bestfriend, practically her sister, was okay.

The other two rangers, Jake, and Noah made their way to her. "Glad to see you're up" Jake mentioned with a relieved tone to his voice. "Mmmm." Was all the pink ranger could muster as she squeezed Troy's hand. "Ugh... I can't believe this..."

At her words, Troy's face contorted into one of confusion, "Can't believe what?" He spoke to her in a gentle, concerned voice. Emma's eyes gazed over to him, "That I let myself be so easily defeated by her.." The way her tone sounded, she felt ashamed and embarassed. Gia's nose flared up, not believing the words taht were flowing out from her sister's mouth.

"Em, look at me, look at us." Emma did what she said, looking at Gia once more with a confused expression. "Lexarus was pretty much too powerful for one ranger alone to defeat, her armor and strength was nothing like we ever encountered before."

It was gosei's turn to speak up; "Gia is right. Rangers when Emma recovers, you must go through training in order to properly defeat her. The army is stepping up their game and catching up to us."

The five of them nodded, but for now, all they could is stay by Emma's side, and protect her, as she recovered. Troy kissed Emma's cheek, which was responded to by Emma smiling a little, and resting her head on his shoulder.
