Hermione is strolling the halls when she happens upon Professor McGonagall.

"Ms. Granger, please come to my office," McGonagall says tight-lippedly.

Hermione and McGonagall sit in the office, when McGonagall begins, "In all my years of teaching, I have never been so ashamed to hear of a student cursing another student on a broom. Your behavior is little better than that of a dark wizard."

Hermione started spluttering, "He spoke so ill of Ron that I just had to..." "That's even worse!" McGonagall interrupted. "You ruined what could have been the start of a Quidditch career for spite!"

"Quidditch isn't even a real career," Hermione stated dismissively. "Oh, really? Did you know Quidditch players are possibly the biggest public policy influences and have the highest wages?" McGonagall stated. "Here's what is going to happen. You are going to be in detention every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the end of the year. Moreover, you will lose your prefect badge and have to give a public apology."

Hermione shrieked, "You can't do that!" McGonagall smiled coldly "You also are also limited to only two hours a day in the library effective immediately."

Hermione fled the office to her dorm, in tears at her actions being reprimanded. First Ron shacks up with that hussy, then Harry is beating her grades, she is a laughingstock for failing the apparition test, and now she isn't even a prefect anymore. How could today get worse?
