Kagome followed Jaken down a deserted hallway.
"I don t know why master Sesshomaru has decided to keep you here. We have enough human trash here, and then he wanted Miss Rin to stay here If I didn t know master Sesshomaru better, one would assume that you had gone soft. However, he doesn t relent on his war to keep his position of authority."
Kagome didn t say anything as she continued to walk down the hallway, her eyes cast downward. She didn t want to say anything. She was afraid of the repercussions of whatever she may say.
Jaken gestured toward an open bedroom. "This will be your room for as long as master decides to keep you. His room is down the hall and to the left, so make sure you don t go near it."
Kagome nodded and walked into the room. There were several kimonos on a table near the wall. They all looked to be her approximate size. She walked toward the bathroom and undressed. She had just begun to relax when she heard someone shouting her name.
