A/a: Well, sorry I couldn't get it done by Halloween... I think it still works for all times of the year, but perhaps that's just me. Comments are helpful, don't be shy ^-^ Anyway, enjoy!
To my greatest disappointmenremedied I do not own Black Butler.
The three Phantomhive servants wiped away the last of their black whiskers, each arguing with themselves over Ciel's command to wear the cat costumes.
Baldroy used a washcloth, scrubbing at his skin furiously. "I can't believe the child got me into that costume, I'm the chef, I shouldn't have to be put through this..." Satisfied that the black had been removed he threw it back into the sink, ripping off the cat ears in disgust. "Gloves that look like paws, ears, whiskers, a chef should never have to go through such indignities."
"I think I'm gonna have Sebastian draw some other ones on," Finnie said thoughtfully. He rubbed the cloth absently over his skin, water dripping down. "Maybe he has another way to do it so I don't smudge it so easy."
"Sebastian didn't even look at me," Mey-Rin mourned quietly, leaning against the wall and stroking her cat ears gently between her fingers. "I know he likes cats, and I try to look extra nice just for him, and he just shrugs it off and doesn't even acknowledge me..."
Finnie put an arm comfortingly around her shoulders. "I think Sebastian was just upset that the young master was teasing him, that's all."
The maid turned to him in horror, blushing furiously. "What are you talking about?! Me, wanting the butler to... Ugh.." She shuddered, concealing a dreamy sigh behind her shocked words. All three servants jumped and looked up as a sudden shout rang out over their heads.
"Sebastian! Let go of me this instant! I can do that myself, let go!" Ciel's sharp words made their eyes widen, and there was a pause. They could assume that Sebastian had replied, because the child's shouting began again. "Get out of my room at once you conniving butler! Leave me alone!"
The three servants stopped in their preening, glancing nervously up at the ceiling. "Erm," Mey-Rin said, blushing. "I-I think someone should go and make sure the young master is alright..." More of Ciel's shrieks rained down on their ears. "B-But I-I really don't think it should be me..."
"I think that maybe we should stay out of this one," Finnie suggested nervously, eyes flicking upwards as something creaked loudly above them.
"Sebastian, unhand me! Now!" There was a loud thud and the Earl shrieked again, making the three servants wince at the high-pitched noise. "Yes I said now, are you deaf?!"
"I think you may be right on this one, Finnian." Baldroy nodded and started towards the door apprehensively. "We'll just let Sebastian take care of it, he's always acting like he can do anything, let's see if he can calm down the master."
Hurriedly they all nodded and scurried to their separate rooms; no one mentioned the fact that judging by Ciel's varied shouts, Sebastian was the reason the Phantomhive was upset.
