Naruto grinned, and held out his hand.

Temari smiled back, grabbed his hand, and left the small apartment.

They walked and swung their hands together, in a relaxing silence.

When Naruto was almost going to scream because of the silence, he spoke,

"You're very pretty, Temari."

"No! I'm not!" She said playfully, half-serious.

"No, I'm being serious! You're gorgeous!"

She smiled at that, as the building they would be dining at came into view.

She turned her head to the side, as she glanced at his happy grin.

"Naruto, you are so funny!" She said, smiling and laughing slightly.

"Oh look! The resteraunt!" He said pointing exitedly.

She laughed. It had been in sight for about a while and he hadn't noticed.

They walked inside, and the guy standing behind the counter glanced at them.

"Nami-" He began only to be stopped by Naruto waving his hands frantically with wide eyes.

"-er... Uzumaki, Naruto. Right this way, please."

He led Naruto and Temari into a very expensive looking booth.

"Your waiter will arrive shortly." The guy said, formally.

Once he left Temari asked, "Naruto, how did you get all the money to go out to dinner, and why did you pick me to take with you?" She toyed with a strand of hair that was left down.

"Oh... My, um... Heritage." He said, choosing his words carefully.

"What is your heritage?" Temari asked. He certainly wasn't in any clan special. Uzumaki was just a normal clan.

Naruto straightened in his chair. She was from Suna, so she wouldn't know the Namikaze clan.

"Namikaze." He said uncertainly.

Her eyes grew wide. Oh, Naruto knew he'd done it now!
