She awoke in a coffin as it was being placed into the grave.
Her instincts encouraged her to be silent.
She didn't dare move; she only listened.
She heard her funeral service begin, and end.
It brought tears to her eyes to hear her families' goodbyes.
Once they were gone, she pushed open the coffin lid breaking it into microscopic pieces.
She, viciously, clawed her way out of the ground.
She headed back to the house, that she had started calling home, recently.
She could smell the scent of living humans.
It made her mouth water, and she felt a humming in her chest.
No, it was not her heart; this was a completely different entity entirely.
It thrilled her putting a devilish grin on her face, as she prepared to have her first meal as a demon.
She felt incredible power flow through her veins, as she finished devouring all their souls.
She stared at the corpses, that she had created.
She ran, blindly, upstairs.
She found her old bedroom with ease; it had someone else's stuff in it.
She collapsed on her bed, and cried; she felt like a monster.
'You are a monster.' A voice inside her head told her.
"Oh great! I'm insane, too!" She groaned out loud.
'No, you are not.' The voice told her, 'You are experiencing, what every newborn demon go through.'
"Demon?" She croaked.
'Yes, you are now a creature of the night, that feeds off human souls.'
"That's impossible!" Exclaimed Isabella.
'You do not have the good feelings; feelings like love, kindness, compassion, happiness, and protectiveness towards anything else.'
"Why?" Whimpered Isabella.
'You are missing about half of your soul, the good part.' The voice told her before vanishing.
She hated whoever had turned her, as she realized that she had to consume all of her victim's souls, or she would have created more demons, because she had half a soul which made her a demon.
She stalked off to find the man, that had ended her human life, once she had found him, she killed him.
