The Triwizard Tournament is exciting, but Ginny won't let that interfere with her letter. She will send it on that day, and nothing can stop her. So she sits at her desk in her dorm room, sets a fresh piece of parchment on the wooden surface, and dips her favorite quill into her ink.
Dear Tom,
I'm being sarcastic this year. You are no longer dear to me.
Have you ever heard of the Triwizard Tournament? You probably have, being the evil genius that you are. The Goblet of Fire malfunctioned, and there are four champions this year. Oh. Yeah, I forgot to mention that we're hosting the reinstated Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts. Yeah, and so we have two champion, Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff and Harry. Harry Potter. He's way too young and this shouldn't have happened and I'm so confused. Oh, Merlin, I'm writing to you like it's first year again. Oh well. Old habits die hard. Like you, but Harry killed you, so I'll kill this habit somehow. We are not familiar. But we are, aren't we? Anyway... Fleur Delacour is the champion from Beauxbatons and Viktor Krum is the champion from Durmstrang. I hope Harry wins. Just another of his amazing accomplishments, like, oh I don't know... defeating you!
I'm being weird tonight. Perhaps the butterbeer from earlier is getting to my head.
Never yours,
Ginny W.
