Voltaire's Thoughts On Last Episodes and Episode Endings

Don't you just hate it? In all shows the good guy always wins! Even if the bad guy wins before the advert break, by the end of the episode the good guys always gain victory over the bad ones. It gets a bit boring. Not only because I am a bad guy but because I am also a cartoon/anime critic.

I'll use my trusty search engine and look for 'Rosacanna last episode.'

See what I mean? And the last episode always has some huge explosion near the end of it. To - in theory- leave all viewers gasping for breath, wondering if the good guy made it out alright. But he/she always does. I mean if the good guy died then the producers would be bombarded with hate mail. The bad guys never win! If I ever wrote a cartoon/anime I would make the bad guys win just to be more original, more different. And I wouldn't end it with an explosion.

It's all explosions! Bang, bang, bang, all the time! Well in every last episode anyway.

And at some point the good guy will sacrifice him/her self for the city or planet of whatever.

She stood up tall and strong. The monster roared and sent a huge energy blast toward the determined young hero. She screamed out as she fell down the cliff to the jagged rocks below... The monster exploded as she fell and was never seen again. "Because of Hanara, Jumlors was saved," said Harry. "She sacrificed herself for us... Thank you Hanara.…"

Also the fact that the hero always walks or runs or drives off into the sunset is another thing that bothers me. It's always the same. The least change they could make is they walked off into the sunrise. Like if they'd been defeating bad guys all night and they walk off into the sunrise. Or they walked of into the moon rise. Or they walked off into the city. ANYTHING!

I'll search for 'good guy sunrise.'

(after an episode of Rosacanna featuring Electracanna) "Who knows what could happen next!"

(After the end of a series:) "So.. its over?" asked Hona quietly. "I guess so," replied Kio.

(Narrator) Don't worry girls, this isn't the end of your journey. It's only just begun..

The voice the narrator uses is also very bad. Like... well listen to the narrator next time on Pokemon. That's what I mean.

That's all for now. And as our hero walks off into the sunset after the explosion, we sit and wonder, What will she write next?
