She pushed a stray lock of brunette hair behind her ear and turned her gaze away from the grief-stricken woman sitting in
the front row.
It was erie how much Paige wanted to go to her, to put her arms around the woman and tell her that everything would
be alright. She didn't even know her, but she felt a herself being pulled toward her, almost like she didn't have control of her
body anymore.
Like she was completely at the mercy of unknown forces that drove her to do something that made no sense to her brain,
but made every sense to her soul.
And, being a go-with-your-gut kinda girl, Paige got up, giving into the Powers-That-Be, and went to give her condolences
to the people that she suspected would change her life forever.
If the feelings in her soul ment anything, that is. And she was pretty sure that they did.
She was sure of one thing, though. Nothing would ever be the same anymore.
