Ditzy raced pass the trees, as the wet, cold ground began to shake. A earthquake in ponyville? That's strange, we've never had one here before. All of a sudden a blue box materialized a short distance away from her. What in celeastia's name is that! She stumbled backward she felt the small cliff where the land ends when she fell. I'm falling in the ponyville river!
"Help!" she cried as she felt the cold, unstable water pulling her fur down. She tried to swim, but the current was to strong. She looked up and saw a strange stallion with dark brown spiky hair, dark blue eyes, light brown coat, and a green bow tie. He looked at her in shock and pulled her out of the unforgiving river.
"Are you all right?" the strange stallion asked. Ditzy nodded her head still shocked at what had just happend. "All right then, i'm the Doctor." he said.
"Doctor who?" she replied. The Doctor smiled, kindness and amusement shinning in his eyes "No, no" he said "Just the Doctor."
"Alright Mr. Doctor thanks for saving me, by the way do you know what time it is?"
"It's 8:00 A.M." he said hesitantly.
"It is? I've got to go!" she said as she ran away from the Doctor. There was something strange about him that I can't put my hoof on. Never the less I need to get to the office and fast. They might fire me for being late! Just the thought of losing my job made me want to cry. It happened to my friend, and losing her job meant she couldn't support her mother with the rent and had to move out. She didn't want her mom to suffer the way her friend's mom did. As she was lost in her thought she started hovering over the ground. She looked down and saw this, her heart nearly stopped. She looked at her wings and gasped when she realized she wasn't doing anything. Then Ditzy blacked out.
She woke up in a white bed, the ones they use at the pony hospitable. She burrowed farther into the fluffy white pillow. Then realized that she didn't know where she was. I could be anywhere for all I know. I better check if there's anypony around.
"Hello?!" she called as she was looking around for some kind of response.
"Hello." a dark demonic voice answered. "Where am I?" she called back looking around wildly to find whatever answered her.
"You are in the realm of darkness... and you will stay here until the Doctor tries to find you" it growled to her. She shivered on how hostile and dangerous it sounded. Then she heard a noise coming from behind her. She whirled around hoping nothing would be there, but to her horror she saw what it seemed to be a pony but its eyes all black and when it opened it's mouth she saw meat eating, sharp teeth coming from every angle out
"Wha...what...are...you?" she stumbled a bit shivers running up her spine.
"I am the keeper of the realm of darkness" it said "Only few mortal ponies ever saw me" it growled.
