xXAccaliaXx- Soul's death will kind of be put together throughout all the characters. Black*Star will actually say some information about that in this chapter. The only reason Maka didn't really talk about is because I think that she wouldn't want to think about or accept the fact that Soul is actually gone.

How could we have let this happen?
A simple recon mission gone wrong
I didn't know about the witch, none of us did
I wish the witch had taken me instead of Soul
I think everyone wishes this for Maka
She was like our sister and now she's given up on living
We used to be able to joke around
Now we want to challenge any greater power that could've changed something about that day
