Hey guys, Wolfie here! I'm SO sorry about not having updated! If you check my profile you can see my progress and as of right now I am having to restart EVERYTHING! Anyway, I'm not going to leave you on the edge any longer. Geronimo!
"Once upon a time, there was a great time war. I, a lonely traveler, was a soldier on the front line" Said the Doctor, exaggerating just a bit.
"Wait, not start from birth!" Said the nurse
"No, that'll take too long. I don't want to keep you here all night."
She sighed "Then why start there?"
"I don't know. I used to dread speaking of it, but in a story line, I think it's the best part."
"And how do you mean time wa-"
"How many questions an you ask? Just let me tell the story! Anyway, so there I was, in this war against the most fearsome creatures in the universe, the Daleks. Millions died with every last second of the ongoing battle. I was responsible for so much. Some say I led my people into battle."
"That's all you're responsible for?"
No, so much more than that. The Nestene, living plastic creatures, I couldn't save their planet. And other beings known as the Gelth, they lost their physical forms because of me. I witnessed the fall of Arcadia. I'm still yet to come to terms with that," He looked a bit saddened at this point "I ended it too, though, using the Memory."
"What's the Memory?"
"Too difficult to explain, kind of like a time lock. My whole planet is within the Memory. When it was all over, no more hatred, but yet no peace, I was the last of my kind. All of my people had died, or had been forced into the time lock. The Daleks, I never saw them again, until I met Rose."
"Rose?"
"This... this girl..."
She noticed hesitation in his voice. He seemed to have choked up a bit. She knew she must have been somebody close to him.
"I regenerated, after the time war. I changed. My looks, my personality, everything. I went back to Earth in 2005, I began saving people as I did so often before the Time War, never receiving thanks yet never asking. Some of the Nestene had fled from the war and brought their leader, The Nestene Consciousness, with them. Rose worked at the shop that I was investigating for signs of the Nestene. She was being cornered by some shop window dummies. I remember that moment with her distinctly."
"Why's that?"
"Because, that was the moment we met. That was the moment where I grabbed her hand, and whispered 'Run!'"
SHORT chapter, but hey, I've got a lot to do. The next chapter is ALL about Rose, so it should be longer. This was just to kick it off a bit more. Thanks for reading! R&R!
