Sorry about the really late update!! I have been sooo busy with school. Anyway, heres the next chapter! Its not very long, but I wanted to end it there and upload it.

I pulled up in front of the big, three storeyed rectangular mansion that belonged to my family. I switched off the engine, got out of the car, took my luggage out of the trunk and was out of the car and in my room from our earlier stay in about 2 seconds. I took out my clothes, out them away in my closet and dresser, and then started to arrange my CD's on the rack on the wall. The first rack was arranged according to preferences, and the rest by year. The door opened while I was arranging the CD's. It was Esme, with a stack of sheets and pillow covers for my bed. She also had a couple of towels. She fixed the bed quickly, and then moved on to put the towels in my bathroom. By the time I was done putting away the CD's, my room was just how it was when we had to leave Forks. I sped downstairs, quickly telling Emmett, who as seated on the couch, that I was going out to hunt. I ran into the forest, picking up speed by the second, until I caught the scent of a herd of deer nearby. I headed in that direction, pausing behind the trees, and being very quiet. When the right second came, I sprung out from behind the trees and took down the nearest deer, which happened to be the biggest one. The feel of the warm blood trickling down my throat was wonderful. I quickly drained down another two deer and then ran back to the house. Everyone was assembled in the living room, waiting for me.

"We have to go enrol in school." Alice announced, the second I was inside.

"Do we all need to go for that? Isn't it enough if Esme and Carlisle go, seeing as they're supposed to be our parents?" I said.

She frowned at me. "Fine, then. Don't come." Rose shot a glare at me, and opened her mouth to say something, but Esme interrupted her.

"It's fine, Edward. You don't have to come." She said, kindly, and then looked at the others. "It's okay if he wants to stay here. In fact, I don't see why all of you have to come."

Alice pouted. She hated not getting her way.

"Thanks, Esme." I didn't bother to stay and see whether all the others went with Carlisle and Esme, or if some of them stayed back. I grabbed a random CD off the rack and inserted it into the player. I sat down on the black leather couch and closed my eyes, losing myself in the music.

Today was the first day of school. I was waiting downstairs in the living room with Jasper. Rose and Emmett were outside in the car, and Alice was still upstairs. Tired of waiting downstairs, I went outside to the car and slid into the driver's seat. Emmett had claimed the passenger side which left Rose, Alice and Jasper to the back. Once everyone was in, we took off, and were at school within no time due to my fast driving. People literally stopped and stared as they saw the flashy car drive into the parking lot.

'Wow… That is one nice ride.' I heard someone think. Other people were all thinking things along the same line. I came to a stop in a place fairly close to the school and got out of the car. I heard fairly audible intakes of breath, loud for my sensitive ears, so most of the humans probably heard them, too.

'Look at that!'

'Wow!'

"Oh my god, Lauren, look at those guys," I heard one girl tell her friend. There were lots of similar remarks as we made our way from the car to the front office. We entered the small, warm office. Behind the desk was a woman in an orange t-shirt. Her eye's widened as she saw us, and she very obviously gave Emmett, Jasper and I a flirtatious smile.

'Ugh,' Jasper thought.

Alice pranced up to the desk. "Hello! We're the Cullen's and the Hale's. We're starting here today."

"Ah, yes, I have your schedules here." She passed them around. "Take these slips and get them signed by each of your teachers and return them to me at the end of the day." She smiled at us, and we left the room. I checked my schedule: Calculus, Government, English, Gym, Lunch, Biology, and then Spanish. I had taken all the subjects over and over, so it would be easy. Especially Biology, seeing how I had been through medical school twice. I might even know more then the teacher.

I said bye to my siblings and went to my Calculus class. As I walked through the door, everyone in the class stopped and stared openly at me. I ignored them and walked to the teacher, who greeted me with a stiff nod, signed my slip and sent me to a seat at the back of the class. I tuned out the repulsing thoughts of everyone around me and sat down. The rest of the morning passed uneventfully. A lot of girls offered to show me to my next class but I politely declined. A couple of particularly annoying girls, Jessica Stanley and Lauren Mallory kept following me, giggling all the time. I made sure that I didn't listen to what they were thinking.

At lunch my siblings and I got a tray of food to keep up the façade of us being humans, and sat together to exchange what had happened so far. So far I only had Alice in one of my classes, and Jasper and Rosalie in another.

After lunch, I had Biology, and then Spanish. I went outside to my car and waited for my brothers and sisters to come. Alice and Jasper came out first, followed by Emmett and Rosalie. The car ride home was silent, and I ran up to my room the minute we got home to listen to music.

The rest of the week passed in the same tedious way. I talked to Tanya briefly a couple of times. She kept complaining how bored she was and how much she missed me. She wanted me to go back to Denali.

In school, everyone was talking about the new girl who would be arriving today. Her name was Isabella Swan, and she was the daughter of police Chief Charlie Swan. She was probably just an ordinary girl. Everyone was excited about her arrival because she would be the sixth new person in two weeks.

The whole morning I heard people talking about Isabella, or Bella, as she preferred. I didn't go for lunch; instead, I sat in the library, looking through the classics section. When the bell rang, I went for my Bio class and settled down at my table. I sat alone there.

I was staring mindlessly at the table when the door opened. I was hit by a powerful scent of freesias and I felt my throat burning. I looked at the door. In had walked the new girl, and it was her scent. The most appealing scent I had ever come across in my existence.
