She was walking in a park full of children one afternoon when she felt a pain in her swollen belly. She gasped and sat at a nearby bench. She closed her eyes, willing the pain away and opened them as the pain faded. She looked around her. It was autumn. It was a beautiful sight and yet she remained expressionless. Her eyes were glossy with unshed tears. She looked much better than the past four months. She gained a little weight and the dark circles beneath her eyes were gone. She looked upward in the sky, closed her eyes and bowed her head. Her hand crept to her stomach.

Suddenly two laughing boys came running the other trying to catch the other. One had black hair and the other had red. The woman stiffened, looked like she had been hit then was suddenly tearful. She smiled and shed two tears for her best friends.

Her head was bowed when a handkerchief was handed to her. She looked up to see a man she never thought she would meet again. The man, knowing she would be immobile until she finally came to believe he wasn't a ghost, leaned and wiped her tears away.

"They said-" she was cut off by another spasm of pain. She looked at her belly and winced at the effort.

"I think he's coming." The man said.

"He-? What makes you so sure?" she asked managing to raise a brow before a great pain overtook her. The man leaned in, supporting her weight to keep her from falling off the bench. She was gasping for breath when the pain passed.

"Come on." The man ordered as she helped her get to her feet. "We'll side – apparate."

"No."

"No?"

"No. You know better. We go to a muggle hospital." She looked straight at him, daring him to contradict her. He gave a nod and started to walk slowly. They were doing it the Muggle way.

As she was rushed to the Emergency Room when they got to the hospital, the man whispered, "Malfoy firstborns are always a boy."

She smiled. "I have a feeling that you're right, Draco Malfoy."
