"Crap!" Teresa thought as she struggled to upright herself, across from her and already standing was a dark-skinned man with bright neon orange hair. Stunned, she stared at the strange person. For a moment, she had a feeling that he was not human.

'It must be either the convention or Gabby's ideas scrambling with my head again,' She thought, banishing the thought that he was not human.

"What the…" The strange man exclaimed in surprise, staring confusedly at her as if she was not supposed to be there, "What are you doing here?"

"What else would I be doing here? I'm attending the convention, of course," Teresa answered in confusion, "Who are you supposed to be, anyways? I don't recognise the costume,"

"I am the Daedra Prince Hircine the Hunter," He said proudly, almost as if he really was the daedra prince of hunting. Teresa rolled her eyes and noticed Gabrielle, who was kneeling on the ground holding her sides and laughing hysterically.

"Gabby, shut up!" She shouted at the laughing girl in irritation, Hircine turned to see who she was yelling at and seemed to become even more unsettled. Gabby stopped laughing as she heard her name, got up from the floor, and walked over giddily. Several other people who had witnessed her laughing fit stared at her in astonishment, although she ignored their stares.

"Who're you talking to?" She asked Teresa, who didn't answer her. When her friend didn't respong immediatly to the question, she spun around and faced the orange-haired man.

"Nice hair, is it a wig?" She asked, flicking a purple strand out of her face. Hircine gave her one last confused and almost frightened look at her and Teresa and then he turned around and vanished into the crowd.

"All right then," Gabrielle stated in faint amusement before she turned to Teresa, "Lets go on the Wii"

"Ugh, how about I just watch you destroy everyone," Teresa groaned, Gabrielle grinned wickedly and dragged the girl to the booth where they got the Wii controllers.

Hircine rushed through the crowd; everything around him was not what he wanted. All he wanted was to travel to Morrowind, not to this strange chaotic world. Inside the building, there were bright lights that were obviously not from lamps or flames; the people around him were not of any race belonging to the mortal world he knew. Everything was just wrong, in so many ways he could not even begin to calculate. All he knew was that he had to get out of the wretched place, find a secure location, and return to his realm before he turned out like his fellow daedra prince Sheogorath.

"So, who was that weirdo anyways? I didn't recognize the costume and he looked like a complete moron," Gabrielle said as she continued to beat her best friend on the Wii.

"How should I know? He ran into me and didn't even apologize," Teresa said, waving around the wii controller pitifully as she tried to avoid losing again. She had been playing the game with Gabrielle for an hour and while she managed to slowly get better, her friend excelled the instant she learned the controls and only got better the longer they played the game. People tried to challenge Gabrielle's winning streak, they failed miserably.

"What an idiot," Gabrielle hissed, giggling madly as she saw the Game Over flash on her friend's side of the television screen.

"I'm done, let's head over to my house," Teresa sighed in slight annoyance, snatching the Wii controllers out of her friend's hands.

"One more game, Terra-chan!" Gabrielle begged, reaching for the Wii remote. Teresa leapt away; the other girl lost balance and fell off the metal folding chair with a loud thud.

"Nope," She answered, rolling her eyes as she walked back to the booth to return the remotes. Gabrielle trailed dejectedly after her.

"But, it's the last day of the convention!"

"You have a Wii at home,"

"Not this game,"

"Buy it,"

"Fine, you jerk," Teresa almost laughed at her friend's haughty reply and after giving the man at the booth their remotes and regaining their passes, they began walking towards the exit. As they passed the place where they had met the strange orange-haired man, Teresa noticed something shiny. She picked it up; noticing it was a silver ring wiht a wolf head on it, inside the ring was some form of writing.

"It must be part of someone's costume," Teresa quietly remarked. Gabrielle heard her and snatched the ring out of her friend's hand, looking curiously at it.

"This ring is awfully familiar. Where have I seen this and the writing before?" She thoughtfully asked, Teresa snatched back the ring.

"You play so many games it is no wonder you don't remember!" She retorted. Gabrielle grinned in response.

"I guess I'll just keep it until we find the owner," Teresa said, placing the ring in one of the pockets she had sown into the costume.

"So, are you ready for that awesome algebra two test tomorrow?" Teresa asked Gabrielle.

"Did you expect me to be ready?" Her friend asked in amusement as they walked towards the exit.
