Chapter 1

Willow's/ Céline's wolf Point of View

I had enough of waiting. I dash up a path towards him and I lung however he moves out of the way for me to slide on the dirt. He calls on the other pack members to inform them that he had found Elsa and myself. I decided I would use my secret weapon to end his call. I howl an ear piercing scream that disturbs him so much that he falls to the ground and puts his claws over his ears, that were now bleeding. Usually a normal howl has no effect on an animal's ear drum however, seeing as I have a Sonic Scream power, I have learnt to harness it and even make a person deaf, by using it. The murder of crows, in the trees, fly off in different directions as I take the other wolf's life and end his suffering. Céline would have let him go but I decided that he did not deserve to live after what he and the others did to Céline, Elsa and I. I hear another wolf cry about 1 kilometre away, obviously she had heard what happened. Well there goes my sneak attack plan, now to deal with the other 19, all at once.

Aiden's Point of View

"Well done, everybody. We'll pick this up again tomorrow at 5 am." Everyone on the team groans as they had just finished a hard day of training, they started at 10am to now finishing at 10pm. Only 3 days ago they were just ordinary people with extraordinary abilities, now they were harnessing them to help and save the world from the evil that lurks.

"Hey man… how… how can you still have so much energy after a 12-hour straight training session?!" Alex was breathless after the hardcore training, me on the other hand, could do another session on what we just did. However, the team wasn't like me, the team needed rest and most importantly sleep. I hadn't had a good night sleep in ages because of the accident.

"Well… you know, our abilities do drain our stamina and agility. You were using your powers today, I wasn't."

"Hey!" Alex still huffing and puffing. "I did not use my ability in the session-."

"Don't lie to me, I know you used it to win against Chao in the combat arena. She has never stuffed up like that before." I said with a slight chuckle at his attempt to decline it. "Anyway, you did good today, you just need to focus on your feet, more than your persuasion, but, you'll get there." I say nudging him in the shoulder. He and myself were like brothers. We are both quiet people and we prefer to be alone sometimes. We shared the same humour and the same purpose on why we joined. Except that his sister was still out there, mine… mine was gone. Alex's family was slightly distorted, after his mother died in a car crash a few years ago, his father works a lot, so he barely ever sees him anymore. His cousins and aunties and all of his other relatives, live in England. Being a good friend, I was, I suggested that he could live here now, seeing as he was accepted into the team. His little sister disappeared ever since she was born. He never got to grow up with her or even know her name, but that was 10 years ago. It wonders me how he has never given up in search for his sister, though he knows nothing about her.

"And you my friend, need to catch some Zzz and to also practice with your abilities, whether you like it or not." He bumps back into me as we walk down the hall, laughing and chatting.

My face turned sour as I felt like something was going to happen, but I didn't know what it was. "Hey Alex." Turning to him.

"Yeah Bud."

"Something does not feel right. Like, like I don't know how to explain it but, something is about to go down tonight." I said it slightly distressed because I couldn't see the future or predict it. Precognition wasn't my ability at all.

"Hmm, Xavier or Zatanna might know. They could be able to help, plus, you could also just be tired and perhaps in need of food like moi."

It didn't feel like I was hungry or tired, it was like a pins and needles kind of feeling. "Yeah bro, you are probably right, nothing to worry about." I said with a fake smile.

"ALEX, YOU BLUE HAIRED SMURF! YOUR CAT IS IN OUR ROOM, GET IT OUT NOW BEFORE WE BLAST IT INTO PIECES!" Exclaims Chao and Victoria together.

"Bro, that's your problem." I dash off into the other direction to go find Xavier and Zatana.

"Thanks, and guess what, something was going to happen tonight, the house was going to turn into a barbeque feast for Chao and Victoria." He says rolling his eyes and running to save his cat from the hot heads in the house.

As I turn the corner I see Aaron in a graffiti trance with Xavier and Zatana standing beside him looking in awe. Aaron never understood why he drew the things he did, but whatever he drew, it always managed to come true. Aaron had just finished and collapsed on the spot. Zatana was assisting him to sit up and to also relax him. Xavier had now come over to me and was now standing beside me.

"Wolves don't originate in these parts of the country, right?" He questions me.

I look at the picture to see an injured black wolf in the middle of the painting with other wolves surrounding it. In one of the corners of the picture there was a girl in a tree scared, and was about to fall, and the other side a full moon. Like the one outside tonight.

"They never have, but why this picture, what does it mean?" I question back to him.

"To me, it seems like the injured wolf was trying to protect the girl in the tree. While the others wolves wanted to kill them both… but who knows." Xavier says signing and rubbing his eyes. "Mother, do we have anything on this painting?" Turning to Zatana.

(I should also note that Xavier's mother is Zatana. This never happened in the comics or TV shows but what is happening now is in the future, so like every superhero you have ever known has aged. So Zatana is like in her early 30's now. She was one of many members of the Justice League. She and a couple of others have stayed behind to assist with the new young justice. Zatana has the capability of magic and continues to use it. As a tribute to her father, and she casts spells by speaking backwards or "Logomancy". She has also taught some of it to Xavier too but on with the story.)

"He is still processing everything, but we should just wait until then, dear." Zatana calmly says.

"Mother, if this is going to happen, we need to prevent it. Why would we let that wolf and girl die?" Xavier says becoming angry with her.

"Then what do you intend we do then?" Zatana stands up crossing her arms.

"We could go find them." He mumbles.

"So, we risk trying to find them at like 10:30 at night. Everybody is tired, and we have no idea where they are. All we could know is that they could be on the other side of the world." Zatana saying it with bitterness in her voice.

We just stand in silent until Aaron pipes in. "It's around here, those trees are all around us and that tree there, has the exact same burn in it, that Chao did when she was trying to kill Alex that one time."

Aaron was so true. Once Alex purposefully left Jewels in Chao and Victoria's room and almost killed the cat. For an hour, Chao was chasing Alex though house, Night Wing said if this was going to continue, they would have to do so outside. So, she dragged him outside and tried to set him on fire a few times. "Haha old times." I exclaim.

"Well then Aiden, you wouldn't mind gathering a search party and having a steak out then, seeing as you find this amusing. Plus, you are the captain?" Zatana says.

Cringing on the inside. "I have no problem with that." Grinding though my teeth.

"Good. Now go get some of the team. Xavier stay here with me, I will need your help."

Xavier signs and goes to help Aaron up. As for me I should probably go rescue Alex and pull him out of the deep water, that he has got into. I was just about to go into the room, but I decided that I wanted to hear what was going down.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CLOSED THE DOOR, CATS ARE UNABLE TO OPEN THEM!" Chao fuming at Alex.

"I'm so sorry you hate cats because I KNOW how much they love you! Boom! A direct hit to the ego." While grabbing Jewels and saving her.

Chao burns a hole in the carpet and walks off. Chao sees me and just stares at me with yellow eyes, then she continues to walk away. I guess I won't ask for her help then.

"So, what if she hates cats? You've shamed her by reminding her that cats observe the Golden Rule-" Victoria starts to say but is cut off by Alex.

"Cheerfully spreading their brand of kindness even among those who regard cats as evildoers. Cats do tune in to the vibes of those who dislike them, and whenever they can, will get up close and personal, hoping one more human will become a cat-worshipper."

Victoria signs. "Let me know when you have matured… and what do you want Aiden?" peaking her head around the corner of the door.

"I wanted you guy's help, but you guys seem busy." Aiden starts to slip away into the shadows.

"What do need?" Victoria huffs and folds her arms.

"Well Aaron had another one of his trances and we believe there are wolves in this territory." I say, rising alarm bells with both of them.

"But wolves-" Alex starts to say.

"But wolves are not allowed in this territory, yeah, I know, so that's why we have to deal with it." Finishing his sentence for him.

"Well then, I do want to get to bed soon so, where do we start cap-i-ton." While putting her arms in an akimbo position and waiting for me to give the next order.

"We do need more people, so I will meet you two out in the woods when you guys are ready." We all go our separate ways and do what must be done. After all that, I still never asked Zatanna nor Xavier about my pins and needles feeling, hmm.

Willow's/ Céline's wolf Point of View.

I was surrounded, there was no way out of the circle that my pack had grouped around me. However, with my many different methods, I managed to destroy half of them in under 5 minutes. I was on a roll Céline would be so proud of me, but then again, she would of hated me for killing all those wolves. All the other left-over wolves started to back away. I thought they were scared of me but in realisation, they were scared of the wolf that was behind me. The alpha as they called him or he was better known to me, as my father.

Aiden's Point of View

The time was about 11:45pm, nothing had happened yet. I was waiting for Victoria and Alex to come but soon I gave up hope. Alex was probably asleep and as for Victoria, she was probably calming Chao down. Just as I was thinking that, Victoria texted me saying;

"Hey, sorry, late notice but I am unable to help out tonight. I am calming down Chao, so she would will not blow up the mountain, and to also try and stop her from killing that Smurf and Azrael I mean Jewels. However, I told Jaime and Heron to meet you outside and help you out instead of me."

Victoria was always so kind and caring however she was also known for her unexpected mood swings as well as "unexpected" power outages in the house. She always wanted to please everyone but it was merely impossible when she had a roommate like Chao, and when those two got together, they were a phenomenal force.

Just then, two figures stepped outside and were waving at me. I waved shyly back to them not wanting to engage with them. Jaime was not the most trusting, or understanding person on the team. I guess the only excuse would be that she has not gotten to the team yet however, she is quite a head-strong person and agitates me a lot. Especially when she does not listen. Heron on the other hand, is a really cool person and his ability is the best. I call him the master of illusion, but he is always so modest about me calling him that, which is what makes him a really cool dude. Ever since he has come here, he has been able to put illusions into two different people's minds at once. However, because of that he drops down unconscious. As the captain, Heron would have to be one of the brains in our team and Jaime the rebel.

"Yolo, Aiden, why are we out here, I am tired?" Jaime says while yawning.

"Rude much, that is no way to speak to your leader! And anyway, there are wolves out here tonight, Aaron saw this in one of his visions and if you were about to ask why, there is a girl that needs to be saved and also a wolf that is going to be severely injured, if we do not do something, that wolf would probably die."
