Sorry it took so long I had a trigonometry exam to study for!
"Onee-chan?" Yo asked, pushing her shoulder gently to wake her up.
She peeked up at him with one eye before smiling warmly, wrapping her arm around him, and pulling him down next to her. "Just a little bit longer," She mumbled into his soft hair, feeling it tickle her cheek.
"You're too noisy." Natsume grumbled, tugging on her waist and pulling her towards his body.
Hikari laughed as she looked up at him and smiled, seeing his fake irritated eyes looking down at her. "What you didn't get a good wake up?" She teased, feeling the sleep leave her mind. "You just need a good morning kiss," She laughed, her body moving against his with every rumble. "I'm just joking,"
The last thing she wanted was for him to hate her for her bottled up feelings. But as she looked up at him and saw his eyes staring at her with surprise she swallowed her own tongue. Natsume put his hand over Yo's face making the young boy shout in annoyance at the sudden containment he was in. Natsume leaned down and kissed her lips, making her lean back against the pillow as he leaned over her protectively.
As he pulled back a smile crossed his face, Hikari's eyes wide and filled with shock as she watched him. Her face had grown bright red and he glanced down at her hand that had automatically gripped his arm tightly.
"I like that kind of waking up." He teased, running his thumb along her bottom lip.
She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing was coming out. She glanced away from his eyes to his shoulders and torso that had come out from underneath the covers when he kissed her. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she looked over him, not sure what to think at what she was seeing.
"Why aren't you wearing a shirt?" She asked, just as Yo pulled Natsume's hand from his eyes and glanced up at the two of them.
"I know you like it," He teased, smirking at her proudly.
"Just kiss her already," Yo said, oblivious as to what he had just done before.
Natsume chuckled. "Don't mind if I do,"
"Natsume…wait…" She said, putting her hands to his chest to try and stop him.
"Hikari!~" Narumi sang as the door slammed wide open in her room.
"What are you doing to her?" Mikan asked patronizingly as she looked into the room and saw Natsume pinning Hikari to the bed and hovering over her as she pushed at his chest.
BAKA
Hotaru had shot the baka gun at him, knocking him off the bed and to the floor with a lump on his head. He sat up and glared at Mikan and Hotaru, cursing them under his breath.
"Don't think you can skip classes today!" Narumi said, wagging his finger back and forth. He reached forward and grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her out of the bed. "Oh,"
Hikari looked down at herself and realized she hadn't changed from yesterday and was still only dressed in shorts and a shirt that hung loosely over the tops of her breasts, never being reclosed from before.
"I forgot about that," She said, looking down in realization.
"Were you two getting a little cozy last night?" Narumi winked, looking at her and then at the shirtless Natsume.
"Wha? No! That's!" she was pulled back against Natsume as he covered her mouth and laid his head against hers.
"I think that's a private matter between us," He said, narrowing his eyes at Narumi, but smirked in mischievousness.
"Get dressed!" Misaki shouted, kicking Narumi away and throwing Hikari into the bathroom.
Before Hikari could even step out of the bathroom, Misaki was already dragging her along to the classroom, and Narumi was dragging Natsume behind him as the bell rang for class to begin.
"Natsume! Late again!" The class laughed, watching as he pocketed his hands and walked to his desk.
"It looks like we finally got the new kid to leave!" Permy said with a prideful huff.
"Don't jump to conclusions Permy!" Mikan pouted, puffing her cheeks out stubbornly.
"He's still here." Kokoro said, looking at the door. "He's right outside the door."
The class turned as they waited for the new kid to come back into the classroom, but what they saw next they weren't expecting. Hikari slid open the doorway and stepped inside, looking at everyone in the girls uniform as she stood there before them.
"Hikari?" Nonoko and Anna gasped at the same time, eyes wide at the sight of their dead friend.
"how?" Permy breathed in wonder.
"It's good to see all of you again." Hikari said in a breath, not really sure what to say to all of them.
"Hikari!" The class shouted before jumping on her and wrapping their arms around her in a death grip.
Hikari fell backwards on the ground as everyone piled on top of her. Laughter and crying was heard from the group as they all wanted to feel that Hikari was truly there with them.
"Come on! I can't breathe!" She gasped, trying to find air underneath all the bodies.
She felt a hand grab her upper arm and pull her out of the pile of bodies and into the air. Natsume threw her over his shoulder and walked towards the desk they normally sat at, plopping her down at his side and keeping her close to him.
"Now it feels right to have someone sit there again," Ruka stated, smiling at Hikari who was scrunched up to Natsume's side.
"Hijiri Hikari," Jinno said walking into the classroom and spotting her.
"Whats up sparky?" She said with a smirk, watching as the vein in his forehead throbbed dangerously.
"That's sensei to you," He said, pushing his glasses on his face as he grabbed a piece of chalk.
Hikari smiled greatly at him as she giggled, knowing it was the same nickname she used as an elementary student. "Hai, sparky-sensei,"
The chalk in his hand exploded as sparks flew around everywhere from his hand. "Why you!" He turned around quickly and threw the small piece of chalk he had left at Hikari, waiting for it to hit her in the forehead.
She moved her head slightly, letting the chalk hit the wall behind her and leave a hole. "Woah, taking it a little seriously right now huh?"
"You haven't changed." Jinno said angrily.
"Exactly why are you still teaching our class?" Hikari asked, wondering why he's teaching a high school class now.
"I was assigned to your class because of all the trouble you guys give." Jinno said with an aggravated sigh. "Now lets get on with class,"
Hikari leaned forward and laid her head on her arms as she ignored the lesson. She didn't feel the need to listen to lessons when they were just going to get trapped here anyway. A paper slid next to her arm as Natsume leaned back as if nothing was there.
'Persona has most of the same teachers watching over us,'
Hikari read as she glanced at him. She grabbed a pencil and began writing on the paper with eyebrows drawn in confusion.
'So basically he wants to control us even more?'
Natsume let out a brute chuckle as he nodded his head once. Hikari groaned as she leaned back with her arms behind her to stretch out.
"That's so lame," She murmured, leaning her head on his shoulder. Her mind began to wonder how bad it was before she came back. What Persona did to Natsume while she was gone.
Her heart squeezed itself painfully as she felt guilt once again for leaving them here, but she tried her best while she was out. She got high up's all around to owe her because she used her alice, and she called in those favors by having them go against Gakuen Alice and try to take them down. But that still wasn't enough to stop Persona from what he was doing already.
Her hand slid into his gently and she gripped it tightly feeling her guilt and anger mix and mingle together into a whirling tornado. She jolted out of it quickly as she felt him squeeze back, making her look up at him and see him staring down at her in worry.
"I'm fine," She whispered, smiling up at him. But she couldn't help the hurt from leaking out in her smile, and Natsume saw it instantly.
The first bell rang, signifying that the first class was over. Hikari looked up at the clock and realized she had spent longer in her thoughts than she had expected.
"Hai! I'll be teaching the next class!" Narumi said, walking into the room with his book under his arm.
Natsume stood up suddenly, pulling Hikari up with him, before walking past her and out of the seat. Narumi looked at them in surprise, but smiled and waved as Natsume shot him a glare. He continued to pull Hikari out of the classroom and she stumbled to keep up with his steps.
"Natsume," She said, "Natsume!"
He stopped, making her crash into his back. He turned to look at her, his eyes angry, making her flinch from the intensity. "Why do you always try to hide things from me?"
"I didn't…" She tried to argue but stopped as his eyes hardened.
"You and Ruka, are the only ones I let close, but still you can't let me close?" He shouted angrily, but the way his eyes darkened told her he was so much mad, but he was hurt.
She gasped as her eyes widened; she didn't realize how much it hurt him, but she was scared to let him know. She gripped his hand tightly as she stepped towards him and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Gomene. Natsume gomene."
He slid his hand out of hers and pushed her away from him slightly. "Hikari,"
She smiled up at him and pushed up on her toes, letting her lips push onto his. She pulled back and looked at him gently. "I'm sorry, I….I was too scared to let you know."
He smirked as he looked down at her, pulling her face back to him before she had time to process what he was doing. She felt him attack her lower lip and run his tongue across it. His tongue pushed through and licked the inside of her mouth, memorizing every nook and cranny and burn it into his memory. She stepped back, feeling him urge her backwards towards the tree. Her back scratched into the bark as he slid his leg between hers.
"Natsume," She gasped, pulling back to get some air. "Slow down," She put her hands up but flushed even more as they landed on his chest. "I can't….think…" her vision began to swirl as she tried to keep her head straight.
"Then don't," He chuckled, pulling her chin towards him as he attacked once again. She could feel his hand slid up her thigh as it pulled her skirt up.
"Onee-chan?"
Hikari froze and pulled away from Natsume as she looked to her right and saw Yo watching them with a blush.
"Whoops, we stumbled upon something we shouldn't have," Tsubasa said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Yo," Hikari squeaked, her face exploding into a puff of steam. "Tsubasa? No way!" She put her hands to her face before squealing and pushing Natsume away forcefully. She slid down the tree and put her knee's up to her chest.
"Onee-chan?" Yo asked, looking down at her as he tilted his head. "Are you okay?"
"Oh! Yo! Gomene! I let your innocent eyes see such a thing!" She complained, pulling his face into he chest and rubbing her cheek on his head.
"Onee-chan! I'm not innocent!" He groaned, pushing against her. "I'm grown up all ready."
"No! You are far from grown up!" Hikari whined, rubbing her cheek faster. "What has Natsume shown you while I was gone?"
"I didn't do a thing." Natsume said with a sigh, shrugging his shoulders in indifference.
Hikari puffed her cheeks out as she looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Liar,"
"Onee-chan!" Yo argued, pushing her from him and taking a deep breath into his empty lungs. "I can't breathe."
"Oh, sorry, I forgot they got bigger!" She laughed, rubbing her neck in embarrassment.
"Let me test that out," Natsume said, fingers wiggling.
"Enough!" Both Hikari and Tsubasa shouted, knocking their fists into his head.
"So this is where you two went," Hotaru said, looking at the twitching Natsume on the floor.
"What happened?" Mikan asked, looking at them in confusion.
"Oh, Mikan," Hotaru sighed, patting her friends head with a shake of her own.
Hikari glanced at Natsume and watched as he let out a sigh and lean against the tree trunk next to her. Ruka crouched down next to him and began asking questions which he waved off with a grunt. Though her heart was still trying to calm down, and she was beyond embarrassed, but she couldn't help but smile at being with everyone once again.
