A/N: I'm truly sorry for the delay! I'm out of beta readers and I was waiting someone to give me reply, but since that didn't happened, I've got tired of waiting. So, I hope you enjoy anyway!
Chapter One
"For how long is she dead, Alexx?" Horatio asked in the room above the lab, watching Alexx while she examined the body.
"Between four and five hours." Alexx sat the girl, took the tweezers, pulled out the bullet in her back and placed it on a tray. "I've got something for Calleigh."
"I'll let her know. Thank you, Alexx." Horatio left the room.

"Good Morning, Horatio!" Calleigh walked towards him. "There's a person waiting for you in the hall."
"Thank you, Calleigh. Alexx's got something for you."
"Oh, good." Calleigh left and Horatio went to the hall. A young woman sitting on the bench was the only person in there.
"I'm Horatio Caine. May I help you?"
The woman stood up and gave him her hand. "Lieutenant Caine." Their shook each other's hands. "I'm Alyssa Monroe. I talked to you on the phone."
"Oh, Yes. You've came at the right time, Miss Monroe. Please, follow me." Horatio led Alyssa to the morgue. "Ladies, I present you Alyssa Monroe. She's part of our team from now on. Calleigh, can you please acquaint her about the current case?"
"Sure."
"Thank you." Horatio left the room.
"Hi! I'm Calleigh Duquesne, ballistics. This is Dr. Alexx Woods, medical examiner."
"Alyssa Monroe, DNA analysis."
"Oh, great. I've got a welcome gift for you then." Alexx said, picking up a pair of gloves and handed them to Alyssa. "And here's your gift, Calleigh." Alexx took a small tray containing the bullet that was removed from the body, and handed it to Calleigh.
Calleigh approached the bullet to her face. "It's a .40. Thank you, Alexx. I'll leave you two alone." Calleigh withdrew from the room.
Alyssa put on the gloves and approached the girl's face. She swabbed the extension of the cut on her cheek. Turning her attention to the girl's neck, Alyssa passed the finger on it. "Rope."
"That's what I thought. And here's something you'll be interested in." Alexx lifted the girl's hand. "That under her nails might be epithelial."
"Great." Alyssa mumbled as she took the epithelial with tweezers. "Did she suffer sexual abuse?"
"Didn't get to that part yet. As soon as I know it, I'll let you know. And there's something curious in her other hand. These marks are her own nails. She held a paper when she was found. I believe she thought what was in this paper very important."
Alyssa nodded. "And who is in possession of this paper?"
"Last person I saw with it was Eric Delko." Alexx took a black bag. "These are her clothes, it's Ryan Wolfe's thing. Can you please hand it to him?" She handed the bag to Alyssa.
"Sure. Thank you." She said, before leaving the room.

Alyssa entered the lab and ran into a guy examining something. He looked up. "Need any help there?" He said when he saw her clumsily carrying trays and a bag. He stood up and walked towards her, grabbing the trays and placing them on the counter.
"Thank you."
"No problem. New here?"
"Yeah. Just got transferred. Alyssa Monroe." She put the bag on the counter, next to the trays and extended her hand.
"Eric Delko." He said, shaking her hand.
"Oh, I was looking for you."
"Really? And to what I owe the honor to be looked for in the early morning?"
"Do you have the paper that was found on the Bay Bridge girl's hand?"
"One and only. I'm looking for prints on it right now. Wanna see it?"
"Yes, please."
Eric indicated the paper inside the glass box and Alyssa approached. "Terrence E. Benson."
Eric took a paper from the counter. "I found two 'Terrence E. Benson' in Miami-Dade. Terrence Edward and Terrence Elliot. Terrence Elliot has a quite common job; he is an accountant. But Terrence Edward has a very interesting job." Alyssa arched eyebrows. "He's a pimp."
"Boys will be boys." She said, putting on a new pair of gloves and Eric laughed. "And judging by the victim's clothes," She took the clothes from the black bag. "If we can call that 'clothes', guess we know who to look for." Eric nodded. "And we'll found out who's our victim in a few hours." Alyssa continued "I'll run the analysis right away."
"Great. I'll find this Terrence guy."
Eric left the room and Alyssa started to prepare the material for the analysis.
x
Terrence was sitting in the interrogation room. Eric and Horatio were at the other side of the table.
"Mr. Benson, do you know this girl?" Eric showed the picture of the dead girl to him.
Terrence looked it for a few seconds before answering. "No, never saw her."
"Then why" Horatio stepped forward. "We found a note with your name in her hand?"
Terrence shrugged. "I don't know."
Eric showed Terrence the picture of the note.
"Hey, I'm a business man. A lot of people know me. I don't know what to say to you, I never saw her." He said, returning the picture to Eric.
"When you say you're a businessman, what kind of business do you refer to?" Eric crossed his arms.
"I help people."
"So why don't you help us, Mr. Benson?" Horatio asked.
Terrence snorted. "What time did she die?"
"Why don't you tell us?" Horatio provoked.
"I already told you, I don't know her! Look, I'm trying to cooperate here. My days are always busy, so I'm sure I have plenty of alibis to solve this misunderstanding."
"Good, we'd like to see them all." Horatio stated.

Carrying a black bag, Alyssa entered the lab where a guy was examining some clothes with a black light. "Hey."
He lifted his head. "Hey."
"Are you Ryan Wolfe?"
"Yes. Can I help you?"
"I hope so. I'm Alyssa Monroe. I'm starting in here today."
"Oh, welcome, then! So what can I do for you, Alyssa?"
"Hum, Alexx gave me these clothes." She put the bag in the counter. "She said this is your thing."
Ryan walked to her and opened the bag, lifting the clothes in the air and then laughed. "Alexx said this is my thing? What are you thinking of me right now?!"
Alyssa laughed. "I'm sure she meant the analysis. You don't seem to fit in these clothes."
Ryan laughed. "I'll take that as a compliment."
