SCENE ONE

Chelsea could feel the breath escape her body at lightning speed. She felt as if she'd just been gut-punched, and as she leaned against the wall, her mouth open, her hand trembling just in front of her lips, she watched Charlie's emotional breakdown.

"I keep replaying it over and over in my mind. I can't get it to stop...You're SICK, dude!"

"I-...I love your-...I love your mother." Jordan stammered.

"Man SHUT THE HELL UP with the lies. I saw all I needed to see. You're gay, man. Why would you even play with my mom like that?"

Chelsea finally stepped forward, chuckling. "Charlie...obviously this is some kind of mistake. I mean...Jordan's not gay. You obviously thought you saw something that wasn't there." her eyes slowly drifted from Charlie over to Jordan, and seeing the ghastly look on Jordan's face, her smile began to diminish. "Right, Jordan?"

"Chels I-"

"Man nobody wants to hear your BS lies, dude!" Charlie exclaimed before rushing forward toward him again, but Chelsea quickly stepped between the two of them.

"Alright look...that's enough of this. Charlie...you need to leave. NOW."

"Oh I'm going." Charlie snapped. "I have to get to that church and tell mom before she makes the biggest mistake of her life. I just wanted you to know I think you're an asshole."

"Charlie, wait!" Chelsea called out as Charlie rushed out of the door. "Charlie-"

"Let him go." Jordan stammered as he once again wiped the blood from his nose. "I'll handle all of this."

"HOW, Jordan? He says he saw you two, and-...listen I'm the last person to judge you or anyone else, but what the HELL were you thinking?"

SCENE TWO

"Dr. Olivia Barber, I can't believe what my eyes have beheld."

Olivia heard Neil's voice echo through the empty vestibule of the chapel, and she turned around smiling upon finally seeing him. She'd been back in Genoa City for over a week, but settling back in at GC Memorial Hospital, and finding a new place to live had taken all of her time, not to mention the fact that she wasn't necessarily excited about running into Neil and having to keep Hilary's pregnancy a secret from him. Sure, he may have been fine with the fact that his ex wife was now pregnant by his son, but if she knew Neil the way she thought she did, she knew that deep down inside, it'd cause him at least a little pain.

"Neil...wow.." she looked him up and down and then nodded with approval. "You look great."

"Well, it's not every day my daughter gets married...in the country." he snarked before shrugging his shoulders. "And this is the perfect wedding gift for her...you flying in to surprise us. Lily's going to be ecstatic."

Olivia's smile lessened a bit. "Actually uhh-...I'm staying here in Genoa City for a while."

Her words lit up Neil's face, and as his eyes bulged with surprise, she could feel her phone vibrating. Quickly she grabbed it, and seeing Hilary's name, she rolled her eyes and ignored the call.

"How long is a while? Are we talking through the holidays, or something a little more permanent?" Neil questioned.

"Let's just say...I have my old office back down at the hospital." Olivia answered. "How permanent does that sound?"

"Oh my gosh...does anyone else know you're here?"

The phone began vibrating again, and once again, Olivia ignored Hilary's calls and forced a smile onto her face. "Well, I've run into a couple of people here and there."

"Really?" He narrowed his eyes and then frowned. "How long have you been here, Liv?"

"Oh, just a few days...a week or so. But I think I should really get seated. It looks like it's filling up in there, and I want a good-" As she took off walking, Neil held her arm and pulled her back toward him.

"Wait wait...you're FAMILY Liv...you know you have special seating. And besides, somehow I get the impression that there's something you're not telling me." He leaned in closer to her, and his dark brown eyes nearly burned into Olivia's, forcing her to look away. "What's going on Olivia, and why haven't you made an effort to see any of us?"

SCENE THREE

Victoria Newman sat on her sofa, with a large bin of candy on the coffee table. One of her legs lay across Billy's lap, and the other leg was straight ahead on the table beside the candy. As her head lay on Billy's shoulder, he brushed his hand through her hair lightly before pecking her on the forehead.

She sighed. "Days like these are too few and far between."

"You mean days where you just lay around, pig out on unhealthy tooth-decaying candy, and pretend our kids are off somewhere in Peru being good studious children who are respectful, polite, and-"

"Everything you aren't?" Victoria finished before glancing up at him and smiling.

"Touche'."

"I meant just a time of relaxation, just me and you...here, with absolutely no thoughts of Newman Enterprises, or Jabot, or Brash &-"

"SHhhhh you must not mention those names. Not today." Billy said, placing his finger over Victoria's lips. "Besides, after the week I've had at work with Jack and Ash, the last thing I need is a reminder that I have to be back there Monday."

With Billy's finger still pressed on her lips, Victoria struggled to talk. "Well then we won't discuss it." she laughed a little at the sound of her muttered voice through Billy's finger. "So you're just gonna-"

"Yep. Finger's not moving...just in case you decide to bring up work again."

"Well Mr. Abbott...since you have it here..." She opened her mouth, slightly licking Billy's finger.

He smiled as her licks became sucks, and as Victoria lifted up, removing her leg from his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him.

The doorbell rang, but neither of them seemed to care or possibly even notice.

He lifted his hand, unclamping the piece that held Victoria's hair up, allowing it to flow down over her shoulders, onto his body. Their kisses became more intense, as she reached down to unbuckle his belt, but hearing the doorbell again, she hesitated.

"Ignore it." Billy whispered in between passionate kisses.

Victoria attempted, but it wasn't in her nature to ignore it. She couldn't completely through caution to the wind, especially since she hadn't fully gotten settled back in at Newman Enterprises. Maybe something was wrong. Maybe something had gone wrong legally with her decision to fold Brash & Sassy back under the Newman Umbrella. It could've been John Silva. Maybe there was something that he needed her to sign.

"Billy-"

"Ignore it Vic...they'll go away."

He kissed her again, this time standing up from the couch holding her in his arms. She wrapped her legs around his waist and shouted out with glee as he turned, nearly dropping her onto the couch. They both paused to laugh, as the doorbell continued to ring, this time followed by a loud knock. Billy leaned down onto the couch to kiss Victoria, and as the knocking and ringing got louder, he paused, his lips still attached to hers.

"Maybe I should get it...SINCE THEY WON'T GO AWAY..." he exclaimed the latter aloud in frustration.

Chuckling, Victoria nodded as she sat back up from the couch, smoothing the wrinkles from her shirt.

Billy quickly hurried over to the door, and after an exaggerated breath of annoyance, he opened the door, only to see Hilary standing there. Without words, he nervously glanced back to Victoria, still seated on the couch, and then narrowing his eyes, he looked at Hilary once again. "What do you want?"

"Trust me Billy...if I didn't have to be here, I wouldn't be. But this is seriously important and before you ask, NO it can't wait." Hilary responded before pushing past him into the house.

SCENE ONE

"You look beautiful."

Lily heard Cane's voice as she looked at herself in the mirror, then noticing his reflection behind her, standing in the doorway, she closed her eyes and looked down silently.

"I-...I know I shouldn't, you know...be here technically, but-.."

"You're right. You shouldn't." she interrupted. She still hadn't turned around, but instead kept her head down.

"You know, I sat in my office at Chancellor and listened to the clock ticking, knowing that every single second that passed, you were one step closer to becoming someone else's wife."

"Cane-"

"I'm not leaving here Lily without you turning around, being able to look me in my eyes, and tell me that you don't love me."

"It's a little late for that, don't you think?" she questioned before turning around to face him. "I'm about to marry Jordan...a man who has been nothing but faithful and loyal to me. A man who hasn't risked our children's future to cover up his own lies. A man who hasn't driven me to a mental institution...a man who didn't make me believe that I was seeing a ghost..." Her eyes filled with tears. "Cane, don't you see that this isn't a result of you and Juliet? THIS is a result of EVERYTHING that we've been through throughout our entire marriage."

"Everything wasn't bad, Lily." Cane attempted. "It was...it was dramatic, and it was off the cuff, and sometimes it was a little crazy, and yeah I made mistakes..we BOTH did, but I refuse to believe that you can just walk away like this."

"We both walked away when we signed those divorce papers."

"Another bad mistake on my part."

He walked toward her, standing face to face, and upon feeling his breath against her cheek, Lily closed her eyes, allowing a tear to fall. "Cane, please-...don't."

"You look me in the eye and tell me that the magic we've always had is gone." he whispered.

The scent of his cologne lingered in the air around her and she inhaled deeply, but didn't respond.

"Tell me Lily that you don't want my lips pressed against yours. Tell me that you don't want me to pick you up and drag you out of this church and keep you from making the biggest mistake of your life." As he continued talking, his voice grew louder and more intense. "Tell me that I'm not standing here making a complete ass of myself for no reason. Tell me that you haven't given up on us, and that you STILL LOVE ME!"

The tears were now falling freely, which she wiped away before opening her eyes. "Cane you have to go."

Though her eyes looked decisive and stern, he knew it wasn't possible. It wasn't possible that he could be standing just a few inches away from this woman, the most beautiful woman he'd never known, and feel as deeply for her as he did, and she didn't return those feelings. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and he knew that there was no way possible that she could refute it. "I'm not leaving." he replied before turning around and throwing up his hands dramatically. "So call security, or the police...call Paul. Because I'm not leaving here unless I'm escorted out."

"CANE PLEASE!" Lily exclaimed aloud. Her voice echoed through the room, and they both stopped and became silent for a brief moment. "This isn't helping anything."

"I'm not going to help you marry some loser who doesn't care about you a fraction of the way that I do."

"You have no choice! This isn't some kind of game where you can show up here, throw out a few smooth lines, and win the prize, Cane. This is real life. This entire ordeal with us has been my real life...the good, the bad, the ugly it has been my life, and I have spent my entire adult life with you. And look where it has gotten me?"

"It brought you straight into the arms of a man who-"

"Jordan has nothing to do with this. This is about you and me, and how we-"

As Lily's words escaped her lips, Cane rushed forward, pulling her into a passionate kiss. He could feel the resistance from her, and though his mind was telling him to let it go, his heart pushed him on, reassuring him that the way he felt was enough to make her understand. So he pursued on, wrapping his arms around her body, until finally he could feel her give in slightly. That was all of the confirmation he needed, as he stepped forward, forcing her back against the wall of the church. The intensity grew between them, as the few fleeting seconds turned into nearly a minute.

Finally, Lily pulled away, catching her breath, and then she shook her head. "Cane...you have to go. NOW."

Cane stood frozen in disbelief as he glared at what was once his wife, and the revelation that she was actually going to go through with this wedding hit him like a ton of bricks. He looked around the room for a second, and then eyed his ex-wife once more. And as he backed away slowly, he forced a smile onto his face, and then turned to head out of the door.

"Cane-.." Lily called out reluctantly.

He stopped and turned around to her.

"Goodbye." she whispered, before the tears began to fall again.

He threw up his hand just enough to wave a little, and then the sound of the door closing was all she heard. She held on as long as she could, before finally erupting into tears.

SCENE THREE

"Hilary, now is not a good time for you to be barging-"

"Oh am I interrupting something?" Hilary called out, before turning to see Victoria. "Victoria...I do apologize if I'm intruding. There's just some really important business I need to discuss with Billy here." she plastered a quaint smile on her face, and then stood silently.

An awkward pause filled the room, and then finally Victoria shrugged. "Well, I should go up and-" she hesitated. "I'm just going up." she finished before chuckling and walking past the two of them to head up the stairs.

Billy smiled as he watched Victoria disappear up the staircase, and then quickly, his smile faded and he glared down at Hilary. "What the hell do you want?" he whispered.

"Any updates on that job application I filled for Jabot?" she questioned.

Billy chuckled. "Ahh...so it WAS true. You know, I didn't believe it when Ash told me that your name came up in the application files...I mean everyone knows that Devon gave you an ultimatum to either quit The Hilary Hour or your relationship was over...but I didn't think you'd come crawling back to Jabot, not after so much time and so much water under the bridge."

"Thanks for the history lesson Billy." She walked deeper into the house, and after untying the belt on her jacket, she opened it and took it off. "I didn't come here to trade jabs with you. I'm here strictly for business purposes only."

"I don't think you understand." Billy interjected as he walked over to stand face to face with Hilary. "There's absolutely no chance you'll be hired back at Jabot, not even with your close little...'thing' you have with my brother."

"Jack and I are friends and he knows that I'm a good, hard, and dedicated worker. Not to mention I'm an asset to the company. I shouldn't have to go back and rehash all of the successful business dealings I had with Jabot Cosmetics."

"Well Hilary here's the thing. Fortunately for us, unfortunately for you I guess, someone has already been hired for the position, so I'm sorry but-"

"That's not acceptable." Hilary interrupted. "No...no that can't be. I mean...does JACK know?"

Billy sighed. "Jack hired a very qualified person for the job. I'm sure some other poor unsuspecting company would jump at the opportunity to hire you, but it's not Jabot." with a sarcastic, slightly unmoved shrug, he turned to walk away from her.

"I'm a woman in need of employment, Billy. I'm sure you can understand and sympathize with my situation."

"You're the ex wife, and current girlfriend of one of the richest men in the country. What do you mean you're a woman in need of employment?"

"Devon's money is not MY money." Hilary replied. "And besides, what am I supposed to do all day? Sit around and knit sweaters? No...I like to be out in the real world."

"Real world, huh?" Billy said with a chuckle. "Well, I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do for you."

"So this is how we're going to play it, I guess." Hilary murmured before shaking her head and laughing. She looked up at Billy and then sighed. "I thought we'd built a better rapport with one another recently, and-"

Guiltily Billy glanced toward the staircase to make sure Victoria wasn't around, and then he shook his head. "No...no we're not bringing this up. What the hell are you trying to do?"

"I'm saying...that night at the club was a rare occasion where you and I saw eye to eye."

"Along with the help of an entire bottle of Tequila." Billy responded. "What are you getting at?"

Hilary shrugged. "Relax Billy. Believe me, our night of drunken sex isn't one of my proudest moments either, though unlike you, I wasn't involved with anyone at the time."

Billy glared into Hilary's cold eyes, and then he smirked, nearly bursting with frustration. "Are you sure this is how you want to play this? Blackmail?"

"Who said anything about blackmail?" Hilary questioned sarcastically. "I actually stopped by hoping that you'd have put in a word with me at Jabot to get me hired. I mean, I have to start thinking for two now instead of just myself."

Billy frowned, and seeing Hilary touch her stomach, he narrowed his eyes. "What are you saying?" he whispered.

With a slight smirk, Hilary nodded. "You're a really smart man, Billy. I'm sure you can figure it out." she responded, before pushing past him and heading to the door. As she opened it, she turned around to him again. "I'll be expecting a call from Jabot by morning."

SCENE ONE

Chelsea rushed out of the door of Jordan's apartment building and out into the parking lot to catch him. "Jordan...wait!"

Quickly he turned around to face her. "I'm going to lose it all. Don't you see that?"

"Listen if you go there without thinking this out first, you'll cause Lily more harm than good."

"So I should just let Charlie go and spin this any way he'd like?"

"It's kinda hard to call it a spin, Jordan. You kissed Kevin!" she exclaimed. "Let's just-...calm down and-"

"I can't be calm, Chelsea! I'm about to lose Lily because of this, not to mention my entire reputation is on the line here. This isn't just about Lily, or Kevin, or me...this is about my entire life being changed."

As he spoke, Chelsea could see the car approaching from the corner of her eye.

"I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Jordan continued. "I just-...It was so innocent at first, and then it became something it wasn't supposed to be. Chelsea, I swear I never meant to hurt Lily-" His eyes darted over to the car that was quickly approaching him.

"JORDAN WATCH OUT!"

Chelsea's voice screeched, and almost as if in slow motion, he attempted to turn to get out of the way, but not before the car zoomed forward, sending Jordan's body crashing onto the windshield and then toppling over the car onto the ground. Chelsea screamed as she rushed forward and the car zoomed out of the parking lot.

"Oh my God...Jordan!" She exclaimed as she felt to her knees to him.
