This was it, the last lap of stage 3. Only two drivers remained Frankenstein and Machine Gun Joe. Both racers sped along the last lap, Frankenstein in front and Joe in the back shooting .50 caliber bullets impacting the rear armor of Frank's car.
"Damn it." Frank's navigator yelled. The alarm in the car went off as a small fire erupted in the back.
"Rear armor?" Frank asked speeding down the track.
"Shot to hell." She yelled extinguishing out the flames that appeared in front of them. "You better drop back…"
"This is the last lap. We can win this." Frank glanced at her, with confidence showing in his eyes.
"Why doesn't this son of a bitch just die?" Machine Gun Joe sneered, still shooting at Frank.
"Oil?"
She flicked the switch up and down, "Out."
"Smoke."
She flicked another switch. "Finished."
"Give me the napalm!"
"Nothing works!"
The shots just kept on coming.
"Drop the Tombstone." Frank suddenly voiced out. Her head whipped towards him in disbelief. "On my mark."
"Three."
"Two."
"One."
"I got you now motherfucker!"
"Mark!"
The tombstone dropped from the back of the car and went tumbling towards Machine Gun Joe. It crashed into Joe's car and took half of the passenger side off.
"Shit! Fuck! That's how you want to do it? Okay."
Machine Gun Joe was really pissed off now. Machine Gun Joe wasn't going to let Frank win another race, not on his watch. Frank was going to die before Joe sees that ever happen.
The last turn, only a couple more miles to the finish line.
"He's still coming! Our tank is exposed." She told him. This was crazy, they were going to die. "He's got us Frank you have to drop back!"
"It's a quarter mile to the line. I can make it."He said looking dead straight into her eyes. Frank wasn't going to give up, not now when he's so close to winning.
"Sayonara Frankie." This was it Joe's last remark to Frankenstein. Joe readied his RPG's and aimed.
"Punch out."
"I'm sorry." That was the last thing she said to Frank just before she ejected out of the car and watched as the missile shot towards the car. The missile hit the rear, sending it across the finish line on fire with Frankenstein still inside.
