One day, not far into the Clone Wars, Anakin decided to talk to his Master. He had ignored the subject at hand for far too long. He figured it would do good to get a Knight's view on it, and he knew Obi-Wan would help him if he could.
"Master?" asked Anakin. "Could I ask you something?"
The Knight raised his head from the paperwork Yoda was forcing him to do. "Sure Padawan. Just as long as you aren't asking about marriage again. For the last time, it is against the Code, no matter what data you find in the Archives. Yes, that's right, I know. You think Master Nu keeps what you look up a secret? Well, she doesn't. She-"
Anakin cut him off at this point. "It isn't about marriage." This time. "Actually, it's about premonitions. Are they real?"
"Well, I have heard of some Jedi seeing slightly into the future. Why, have you been having them?"
Anakin hesitated. "Well kind of. Ever since I was young I've seen things that don't make sense. I took them to be some kind of look into the future. Recently, I put them all together. If I did it correctly then they say I will be the death of the Jedi Order, the Republic will fall, Papaltine is a Sith, and I will become a Sith Lord named Darth Vader who wears a funky black suit.
Obi-Wan took one look at Anakin and burst out laughing.
