Chapter 2:
Natsu's POV
Even though Gray's dead and I was just mad, I had no right to say those things to Lucy. I still love her, even if she loves- I mean loveD- Gray. She already had the emotional wound of Gray's death, and I just made the cut deeper. I'll have to apologize later, because the master is announcing the teams for the GMG.
"Oi, brats, listen up! The magic council decided to let us have 2 teams in the GMG this year. Fairy Tail Team A is Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Wendy, and Gray would have been here but-"
"Gramps, you can't get rid of me that easily. Seriously, next time you think somebody died, make sure they aren't unconscious!" Gray said.
"Gray! I thought you were dead!" Lucy yelled.
"Yeah, and who told you that?"
"Natsu and Erza."
"We didn't do anything, good buddy!" I say, trying to ease up on the beating I'm sure to get later.
"Ahem. Anyway, Fairy Tail Team B is Gajeel, Cana, Mystogan, Mirajane, and Juvia. Go train! You only have 3 months!"

Gray's POV
The Naval Battle. Hmmm... Aquarius! Lucy needs to use Aquarius because Juvia's in there too!
"3... 2... 1... Let the Naval Battle begin!"
"Open, gate of the water bearer, Aquarius!"
Yesssss... She did exactly what she needed to! She has this battle in the bag now! So first, she uses Aquarius, next Aquarius leaves, and now she's falling... wait! Falling?!
I run to catch her and see that Natsu had the same idea. We catch her right before she was about to hit the ground. I take her to the infirmary.
