AN: hi! sorry this is so late and not what I said it would be. But, I figured less was better than none. Thank you to those who reviewed, favorited and followed! Again, I have no beta so forgive any mistakes please. :)

Ares is proud, for once. And, not of himself, or the side of the fight he's in, either. No, he is literally proud of people that are not him. Amazing.

Nah, he's proud of Clarisse La Rue, for standing up for her cabin, setting the newbie ritual, and especially killing the mfing drakon. Like, when does that happen? Clarisse was sent on an actual quest, too, so yeah, Ares is flipping proud, okay? If you got anything against that, he'll fight you.

Ares doesn't like most of his children, not really, they are, after all, just the consequence of lust, but Clarisse? Yeah, he is pretty dang sure he likes her, consequence-of-lust or not. She's not cute, but still, no guy is worth being with her, no siree. (Ares would totally kill Chris Rodriguez, as it seems approprite and would start a war, but Hermes can and will kill Clarisse, the only kid of his that he cares about, really, so Ares can't exactly beat the idiot with a bat, sadly.)

And Mars, the thinker, who thinks he's Athena (stupid Romans), is proud of Frank Zhang, too. Even if he is a wimp, Frank took total control with the whole Thanatos thing, and he saved his curly haired friend.

I shoulda gave Clarisse the dragon sword, Ares grumbles to himself. He can't get over how simply pathetic his family is, and it's really messing with his fatherly feelings, which is just not okay. Percy is missing this, WHERE IS HERA that. Honestly, he just want to sit in peace so he can choose which god to sabotage.

Ares isn't impressed with Percy Jackson, either. He freaking turned Clarisse into a drowned rat. Who gives a crap if he saved Frank? Not him, that's for freaking sure. Percy has been nothing but trouble, and now the gods are crying over him. Really, Ares thinks (yeah, ha, shocking), it's kinda pathetic. (He will not admit to the fact that maybe seeing Clarisse have to give up so much and see Frank be so sure that Apollo had him freaking hurt.)

Fighting Typhon was so much fun, and such a rush, that Ares is feeling like a demigod. He was just fighting, just starting to have fun, just starting to get what he wants, and then BAM. He's locked up in Olympus with his family, and quickly finding out that he can't sleep all day every day.

As of right now, Ares is pacing, groaning to himself every time he passes Dionysus, who is blubbering like a dam seal. C'mon, man! You're giving us a bad rep!

Ares sighs. Clarisse is currently kissing the Hermes spawn, who he will talk to, just watch, and Frank is being his usual loser self.

Ugh.

Sometimes, Ares hates all of his children. They don't like what the have, always want more, and then when they have that, they act like losers. Really, Ares knows that they're teenagers, they have horormones or whatever, but he honestly doesn't give two craps.

Passing Dionysus again, Ares groans. Who can I fight that'll fight back? When the answer of no one comes up, Ares collapses into his throne. Ugh.

Ares is proud, for once. Oh, certainly not of his family, no siree. Not of Hera, his royal biotch of a mother, or Percy Jackson, the little butt muncher who did not win against him. No, Ares is proud of his kids, only two of them, mind you, and one of them is a freaking Roman. Ah, well.
