"W...Where am I." Nancy said as she looked around the dark room.
"Nancy can you hear me love its grandma. Wake up honey I'm here." Her Grandma said in a soft comforting voice. It came from one end of the darkness.
"Grandma help me! Grandma help!" Nancy said as she was trying to figure out what was going on.
"No don't listen to her come to me Nancy! Come to me now Nancy! Now! Nancy!" A horrible voice said at the other side of the darkness.
"No! Grandma help me!" Nancy said curling up in the corner of the darkness.
"Nancy!" Her grandma said finally waking her up.
"I did it again didn't I. I'm so sorry grandma I didn't mean to.....
"Stop Nancy! It's Ok Nancy, I'm just glad you are safe." Her grandma said in a soft but strict voice.
"Ok but I just wanted you to know I'm really sorry for this again, lets just say every night since I have been here. Do you know what my dreams mean grandma?" Nancy said before her grandma yelled at her for saying sorry again.
"I don't know. All I do know is that God gave you those dreams to help you solve mysteries and to see if grandpa ate any cookies while we were out!" She said in a funny way to make Nancy laugh.
"I do all that grandma!" Nancy said as she played with her feet.
"Yes you make me and grandpa very happy with you when you help the police solve mysteries that they couldn't figure out!" Nancy's grandma said as she yawned.
"You better go to bed now we have to meet the mayor in the morning." She said as she kissed her good night and walked to the door.
"I love you grandma." Nancy said as she pulled the covers over her shoulders and started to fall asleep.
"I love you to Nancy." Her grandma said as she turned off the light and closed her door.
