A/N: Sorry for the wait! I like to take time with these chapters compared to my Prince and Princess fic, and I was busy with school so I had to take time off fanfiction. Please review and give your thoughts, and maybe some improvements I can do! I could really use it! Enjoy!

Stiles P.O.V.
"Wait, who?" Scott kept moving with me throughout the crowds and began to talk in a low voice.
"Erica. I can smell her, and she's a werewolf. I don't know how, but she is. Derek must have turned her after Isaac." That would explain a lot. There was no way someone could suddenly transform into a hottie, no matter how much makeup and clothes they put on. They would always be the same person.
"But there's another werewolf. That girl-"
"You mean Effie? But she's new in the neighborhood, how can she-" Oh shit.
"Stiles? What's wrong?" Scott looked at me with a hint of nervousness in his eyes.
I bit my lip. "Well, I was kinda supposed to watch over her for the day…and let's just say I kinda let her walk away with Erica and Isaac."
"Stiles! You left her with them?" I sighed.
"Well, they came really fast and I didn't get the chance to take her back. It's not like I can force her to stay, she seemed to be really pissed off today-"
"That's not the point Stiles, now Derek is going to have one more innocent person to put into danger." The bell rang, and Scott sighed as he looked at me.
"Now we have to keep a watch on her. By all means, we have to keep her away from Derek."
I shook my head. I finally thought there was going to peace for once. "Alright, let's just get to class, we'll be late."
Effie P.O.V.
Maybe it was just me, but I always felt a pair of eyes on back. I listened to our teacher, Mr. Harrison continue on and on about whatever subject he was teaching. I didn't really care. For the day, I sat next to Isaac and Erica on my left side. They were much better company than Stiles. Who was the one with his friend, was constantly staring at me. I could only focus. Focus.
"Now we're going to-" His mouth was moving, but no further sound came out. What? He kept on going, writing words on the board as if what was happening wasn't abnormal.
Black and white spots began to appear next to him, and I bit my lip. His eyes went to mine, and then he frowned. His body inclined to mine, and his forehead creased.
He began to talk again, but no words came out.
Miss Marton? Are you okay?
The words came out high, and slow. God, what the hell was happening? A scream ripped through the air, and then the air threw its force upon me, and my body met with the floor.

Class was going normal, with me and Scott keeping an eye on Effie. Except, then Effie started to sweat, and then she went pale. I don't think Isaac or Erica knew what was going on either, they looked just as panicked as we were. They kept shaking her, but it only seemed to get worse.
"Miss Marton? Are you okay? Miss Marton-" Then an ear piece scream shattered the room as Effie tumbled over.
Isaac had been the one fastest enough to grab her, and his face paled just like hers. Maybe they didn't know what was going on either.
"I'll take her to the infirmary." With those words, Isaac heaved her up in his arms, carrying the bag slightly on his back. Scott nudged me from the side.
"We can't just let them have her and walk away. I'll follow them. You stay here and watch Erica." Scott had moved to get up but I jerked him back down.
"Erica? No, she'll kill me!" Scott put a hand on my shoulder and smiled.
"Sorry, Stiles. Mr. Harrison, I'd also like to go-" Before I could speak a word, or Mr. Harrison, Scott had jotted outside the classroom.
Isaac P.O.V.
Carrying Effie was little work. She was pretty light. I glanced at her as I carried her in my arms. She was shaking, sweating, and she was pale. Was this usually how some transformations went? Mine was pretty painful.
"Well, whatever, I have to keep looking out for her. Otherwise Derek will have my ass." I whispered to myself, and Effie stirred in my arms, her hair falling slightly to the side.
"Let me down." I chuckled. Her voice was hoarse, and she was obviously uncomfortable. She began shifting, trying to get out of my arms, but I tightened my grip. She groaned, and her beautiful blue green eyes glared at me.
"L-Let me down already-"A violent cough ripped through her body, nearly throwing her out of my arms. I held hard enough to keep her confined to my arms.
"You know, you're pretty cute." Now that kept her quiet, and then she was still and silent, her face red like a tomato. From then on, she didn't try anything. I could sense Scott, wherever he was, trying to get to us. He would have a hard time since I choose a specific route in the school hallways just to confuse him. He couldn't be messing with any of our plans right now. We needed more members in our pack, and Effie was our best bet, and Boyd was right after her. We'd see him at the rolling rink if he considered Derek's offer.
Once we reached the nurse's office, I closed the door behind us and dropped her on the bed, turning to our nurse, Mrs. Torres who looked bewildered.
"Um, she's been having some pain. My teacher Mr. Harris sent me. Effie suddenly collapsed in class, so I carried her here." The nurse began to tending her for a few minutes and then I awkwardly swayed side to side until the nurse spoke up.
"I think she needs to rest at home. She seems to have a little fever. Effie, I'll call your mom to pick you up." Effie stirred from the bed, and gave a weak frown.
"T-That won't work. She's out of town for work. She told me that this morning. I-I'll just-"
"I'll take her." Effie's eyes snapped to mine, and the nurse forehead crinkled. It would benefit me in the end right? I keep a close eye on Effie, and I get to see where she lives. Which sounded totally wrong, but never mind that.
"I don't know, Isaac, you have to be on school grounds until class is over. I don't think I can just allow you off grounds at this time." I put on my most charming smile as I began to speak.
"She seems like she's in pretty bad condition Mrs. Torres. She shouldn't be in class in this kind of condition. I mean, it'd fall on you, if you she was just sent back when there was a chance she could have been sent home and rested." She then bit her lip, and it seemed that she had been convinced.
"Fine. I'll call your teacher and tell him that I sent you drop her off, but if you get into any kind of trouble-"
"Thanks, Mrs. Torres!" By the time she even had to reply, I was already out the door, carrying Effie to the parking lot.
She was silent the whole way, and silently glared at me. I smiled, and then stopped in front of my motorcycle. I slowly led her to stand, and then she stared at the motorcycle, frozen. I frowned, and nudged her. What, did I do something? I hopped on the bike, putting my helmet on my head. She stood there with the same expression, and my frown deepened. I patted the place behind me, gesturing her to sit down.
I felt her hesitate, her heat suddenly faltered, as if in...fear? "Are you scared to get on?" She stood still, and I sighed. I held a hand out to her. "I won't let you get hurt. Just trust me." Her eyes wavered, but I felt her move behind me and clutch tightly. I shifted and gave her helmet and chuckled. "Thanks for trusting me. Hold on tight."
Then I sped off.
Effie P.O.V.
My heart keeps beating faster. And faster. I'm scared. But at the same time, I feel like I'm safe. I feel clam, holding him.
Before I knew it, we had arrived at my house. Isaac slowed down, and then took off his helmet, shaking his curly head. He paused for a moment as he looked at my house.
"Not too bad." He then got off, and then helped me to get off the bike as he took my off my helmet. He then handed me my bag, and I put on.
I smiled at him, ignoring the heat in my face, and how horrible I felt. Especially from riding that motorcycle. "Thanks. So um, see you in school tomorrow. I…really appreciated the ride." With that, I turned around quickly walking away to hear him laugh. God, that was so embarrassing. I quickly went inside my house, and slid down the door tired. I sighed.
"I might as well get some medicine; I don't want to miss school tomorrow." Once I got up, I felt my body hit the floor. Numbness began to spread through my body, seeping through like poison. What was happening to me? Air was knocked out of me, and I felt fear run in my veins. What was happening?
Come to me.
"You're awake." I froze. I knew that voice. I knew it all too well. The feeling had returned to my body, and I was able to sit up, dirt falling from my clothes. Dirt? I looked around, and I saw nothing but trees. Trees. Was I in the forest? A feeling of fear began to creep on me once, more once I saw Matthew body leaning over mine, and the air was knocked out of me. I couldn't speak.
"It's okay. I know you're scared. I fulfilled my promise to your dad. I know how bad you must feel, it's because you've been fighting it. Don't fight the gift. Embrace it. Embrace the gift that has been bestowed upon you. I brought you here to meet me for that reason. To tell you that." He came closer to me as he talked, and at the same time, I was being pushed back. He wasn't sane. He had this glint in his eyes that reflected from the moonlight above.
"Don't touch me. Stay away." My hands began to nervously dig at the dirt as I was backed up into a tree. Matthew's figure was cloaked in the darkness but then the moonlight shone on him as he took his next step. His eyes were blazing a dark crimson red as they stared at me. His hand was covered in fur all over and his nails….were like a demon's. Sharp, and long. Was he a demon? He was going to kill me. He was going to kill me. My body shook in fear, as he crouched down to me and touched my cheek.
"You're like me now. You're my beta. I fulfilled your dad's wish, I can make you rise to greater heights-" He was rambling, and he was making the fear build in me, tears brimming at the sides of my eyes. His eyes, his body, his hair…
"Leave me alone!" Blood splattered. The forest was quiet. The moonlight only shone down on us. I paled, and then watched the blood drizzle down my arm. Oh, no. Oh, god no. What had I done? His eyes were still, but as if they were frozen in time. My hand stuck was nearly implanted in his chest, and blood gushed out of his mouth and I couldn't move. Blood splattered all over me, pouring down and drizzling down like rain.
I killed him.
Oh, god, I killed him. I jerked my hand out, and screamed. I was like him. God, was I like him? I trembled, and barely noticed if his body stood after I jerked my hand out or now. God, I killed him. And now, I was a monster too. I was a hideous monster.
"What did you do?" I could barely look up, my body shaking from looking at the blood slowly slithering down my body to the earth.
I suddenly found my chin jerked up, and my eyes stared into dark green eyes, and had a rugged face. A growl escaped from his mouth, and I shook, tears strolling down my face. Then the world left me.
