CAT AND MOUSE
Tokyo Japan 2008, a dirty un kept city of street thugs and free loaders.
While every city seemed to have a story of its own Tokyo seemed to be forming into a lifeless dump, where crime rose at every corner…And the smell of fire.
On the corner of the street, a small, defenseless bar stood being greedily consumed by the orange blazes of light that once had the power to warm souls years ago. But things can always change their personally, even fire.
"The elimination process is complete. I'm erasing all evidence of demons as we speak," a slender woman wearing a tight black zip-up dress said into her black phone.
She flipped the phone down, leaving the person on the other end of the line in deaf ears.
Her black dress flowed lightly with each step, but there was also a boy heading that way to the bar on the street that day.
His deep voice called and his name, Hiei.
The woman avoided eye contact with him, trying to avoid merely glancing over her shoulder because she could already feel his icy stares.
The boy ran past her heading toward to where he smelled the stench of smoke.
He stopped at the city. The all demon bar in front of him.
The woman glanced back over to the boy and noticed him staring blankly at the remains as if paying his respects.
She glanced away and closed her eyes as if she was in pain. When she opened her eyes, the boy was gone as if he was never there.
'Is this woman stalking me?' Hiei thought to himself.
The woman hid behind a wall as if she could get him to come to herby just staring blankly at him.
Hiei sat with exhaustion in front of a T.V. shop, never being so confused in his life, who was the woman?
"Breaking new!" a T.V. in the window blared loudly, shocking Hiei who turned around to the source, "The T.A.U.P has just issued today that strange non-human beings calling themselves demons have just been discovered and are being confined for study. That is all."
His pupils grew, his legs grew as weak as wet paper. He felt as if all the life was stolen from his body.
And Karin, his new woman stalker from the T.A.U.P saw it all…and knew it all along.
Hiei was the next demon she was to capture…and kill.
