The Adventures of Liona
Chapter 2
She walks through the closet door and before her stands her kingdom, Faerlem. She is greeted by her closes friend Mariable. Mariable is the princes of the next kingdom over. But she came to meet Liona as she does every time Liona enters Faerlem's realm. " Hello Liona. How are you today", Mariable greets as she walks over to Liona.
" I'm not very well today. My mom is very sad and I cant figure out why. I heard her talking on the phone to someone but I couldn't figure out what they were talking about." Liona said as she started to tear again.
" Don't cry Liona I'm sure she will be fine." Mariable said with a homely smile.
" Common lets go ride the Drime Flyers maybe that will clear your mind".
" Ok but I call the red one ". They both giggled and raced to the stables where the Drime Flyers were kept.
They both saddled up the Drime Flyers and took off way into the Faerlem sky. Liona gazed at the sun set as they were flying and felt a rush of happiness fill her body as a water fall fills a river. She feels free and strong and she thinks about her and her mom both happy. She totally forgot about her mom being sad and her being sad because her mom was sad. Mariable taps her shoulder and the shock brings Liona back to reality. " Are you ok, cause you haven't said a word since we took off."
Liona giggles" Yeah I'm ok. I'm just daydreaming that's all."
" Oh ok then. As long as your ok you can keep daydreaming." They both look at each other and smile. They start to fly higher and straight through the clouds. As the sky darkens Liona notices thats she need to get back to her real home in New York. So then they put away the Drime Flyer's, say there goodbyes, hug and Liona head back to the portal she always takes back home. She arrives Back behind her closet door, opens it and then goes into her room.
