Kyle slowly awoke, he felt like he'd been asleep for weeks. His body was insanely weak, and he still felt tired. He finally opened his eyes, yawning loudly as he looked over to his right. Rose was, yet again, sitting next to the bed. She seemed to be playing around with an arrow, twirling it in her hand.

The moment she noticed him wake up she smiled and nodded in his direction, "Enjoy your rest? You've been out for almost three weeks." She took a mirror off the end table and showed it to him, "Your body has changed completely. You now look exactly like him, even the outfit changed, oddly enough." Kyle took a good look into the mirror; she was right.

His face didn't change much besides the addition of quite a few scars, and his eyes were now piercing emerald with a small hint of purple. He was wearing a long tailed trench coat that left his chest bare and a pair of faded black jeans. Pure white bandages also covered his stomach. He felt around his chest and noticed he was shirtless. He had four new scars that stretched across his chest and down to his stomach.

He sat up slowly, but this time Rose didn't push him down. He noticed he had long white hair and was wearing a worn black cowboy hat. "Okay, I feel stronger and have a completely different outfit? No, I've gotta be dreaming!" he said, rubbing his throat as he noticed his voice was slightly deeper.

Rose shook her head and placed a hand on his shoulder, "I assure you, this is no dream. Like I said before, your body before never belonged to you. It was just being used to reform the old one." She scratched her head slightly before standing up, "Listen, your mind is going to be experiencing a large number of excruciating memories. They will be forcing their way back into your mind. It will be very painful, yet there's nothing that I can do to help. You'll have to live through it, or your vessel will be torn apart." She sighed heavily and walked back towards the door.

"Please take care. I'd hate to see your old self be destroyed just for a rebirth, so to speak," she said before leaving the medical wing once again. Kyle just stared directly at her, completely shocked from everything she mentioned. He already had a few memories floating around in his mind that he never had before, such as living in a secret volcano house with…? He held his head and groaned softly as he hurt himself trying to remember.

He finally gave up after a few minutes of thinking, sighing heavily and laying back down with a loud thud. "What did I get myself into with all this crap?" In a split second, a tall man wearing a white cloak appeared. Most of his features and clothing were hidden underneath the cloak's heavy white fabric. He had a hood up, but you could see the slightest tip of an orange muzzle. "What the fu-?" A white gloved hand covered his mouth before its owner shook his head.

"Shh, I'm not here to harm you. I'm only here to see if it was true. You are alive. Sol will be quite happy to know this," he said softly. "Everyone was instructed to keep their distance from you so you could recover peacefully, but I had to see you at least once before you became really popular. Then it would be too annoying to even get your attention," he nodded as he literally vanished into thin air, leaving no trace of himself.

"Envy?" Kyle said softly, the visitor being another memory he could barely remember. "This has been a very strange existence." He quickly closed his eyes, sighing once again, but a sharp pain went straight up his chest and into his head. He screamed out in pain as he thrashed around on the bed, grabbing his head tightly as several memories began pouring into his mind. There were so many of them that he couldn't even tell what they were.

Behind the door, Rose was sitting on the floor with her back against the door. She held her chest and winced at every scream she heard. "I wish I could help, I wish I could! Damn it!" She hit her head against the wall. Tears began to pour from her eyes, but the room gew silent after a few minutes. Alarmed, this spurred her into standing up and cracking the door open, just to check on him. What she saw puzzled her.

Kyle was standing in the middle of the room. He was looking around and appeared quite comfortable in the medical wing. She was staring at him for a few minutes before his voice broke the silence, "You can stop hiding behind the door now, Rose. I can sense you over there." He turned around and looked directly at her, which made her stumble forward and fall to the floor inside. He walked over to her and helped her up, causing her cheeks to grow warm.

She looked away from him but asked, "Mystery…?"

He nodded and smiled softly, "I've finally awoken." He brushed her off and stretched his arms out, "I do not fully remember myself, but I've returned, mostly." Mystery yawned loudly before patting her on the shoulder. "What have I missed while I've been away?" he asked placing his hand on her chin, pulling her face closer to his.

"I-I uh," she stuttered slightly before clearing her throat. "The family broke up, the castle is in ruins, and Rumiko is alive."

Mystery nodded and sighed, "I found him back in the world you recovered me in."

Rose's eyes lit up, "You remember your vessel?" He only nodded before being pounce hugged by the same cat woman from before. This time, her hair was up in a ponytail.

"Mystie!" she yelled as she nuzzled her face against his, "I've missed you sooooooo much!"

Rose pushed her off of him and placed her hands on her hips, "Easy now Hearts, he's still recovering. You can't be so rough!"

Hearts just crossed her arms and pouted slightly, "You're so mean, so mean!" She stuck her tongue out at Rose, but she just grabbed it and grinned.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" she giggled softly before Hearts chomped down on her finger. She yelped, quickly withdrawing her hand.

"Aw, what's wrong, puppy? I thought you liked getting bit," Hearts chuckled softly.

Mystery watched them toy with each other, a grin plastered his face, but he soon he crossed his arms and spoke to both of them, "Will you just kiss? It's not like it's a secret, considering I can see your auras…" The both of them stared back at him, Hearts even blushed.

"I forgot about that sense of yours," Hearts said before quickly pecking Rose on the lips. She began helping Rose brush herself off.

"You can't hide things like that from me, sweets, always remember that. But for how long?" He asked referring, to their relationship.

Rose looked at him and smiled a bit, "A few months at most."

Hearts shook her head, "Half a year, at least!" She climbed on Rose's back and smiled, wrapping her arms and legs around her.

"Now you see? Hiding your emotions can cause it to build up. At least now you can express yourself," Mystery crossed his arms and looked around. "Now, down to business. Why hasn't Kate taken care of Rumiko? You know with her being death and all, you'd think she'd be able to do something about it." Rose shook her head as she easily carried Hearts around.

"He's grown powerful, very powerful. His power goes beyond even The Four Aces," she said, Hearts nodding slightly.

"Being one of the Aces has its benefits, but when a man steals the power of the three goddesses…" Hearts hung her head and would lie it down on Roses shoulder, "We couldn't protect them. We tried, but he overpowered us with the help of this hooded figure following him around."

Mystery then shook his head, "You can't be expected to protect something so precious that easily." He patted Heart's shoulder lightly. "Where can we find him now?" he asked.

Rose held her head low this time, "He's hiding in a different dimension. A human world, to be exact So you can imagine that if his power were to be used, it would cause a global panic." Rose let Hearts down, stretching a bit before patting Hearts on the back, "Go grab the other Aces. We'll be needing them for this venture into another dimension." Hearts nodded and jumped through the nearest wall phasing through it again

"So this room was meant to nullify my powers and mine only," Mystery looked over at Rose who nodded and shrugged.

"You can get unstable sometimes. It's only a precaution. Once we leave, you'll gain your full power or at least that of which you remember," she smiled and hugged him before handing him a special pill she had grabbed earlier. He knew what it was and put it in his mouth, quickly swallowing it and smiling as Rose took hers. She left four other pills on a nearby table for the Aces.

"Shall we?" he said before Rose traced a finger in a straight line down, cutting the air as it opened up into a green portal. They both stepped through it, and, in an instant, they were standing a parking lot in the human world. It was night and Rose quickly took out a cellphone.

"Thank the goddess our phones adjust to times automatically! It's nine o'clock at night," she said. Then they looked at the building they landed in front of. It was Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. The place seemed pretty quiet. Mystery looked to a nearby telephone pole and noticed that there was a flyer that mentioned the same pizzeria.

It read:

"Family pizzeria looking for security guard to work the nightshift. 12 AM to 6 AM. Monitor cameras, ensure safety of equipment and animatronic characters. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment. $120 a week. To apply call: 1-888-FAZ-FAZBEAR."

"Interesting, and here's the kicker," Rose said standing behind Mystery as he would read the flyer. "I sense Rumiko's energy in that building somewhere. Perhaps you should apply, and I could keep watch out here in case he decides to leave." Rose scratched her chin but Mystery was already on the phone, her phone to be exact.

He was already talking to a man on the phone, from what she could tell,"Yes, of course… tonight? I can do that. No need for directions, I'm already here. I'll begin immediately." With that, he hung up the phone and began walking towards the building.

"Well that was really quick!" Rose looked over at him.

"Stay here. If I need you, I'll come out for you," he said before entering the building from the main entrance. Making his way to the security room, he found an office chair and a desk that had a fan, monitors, a speaker under the table, and a vast amount of hand-drawn pictures littering the wall, along with a completely torn poster. "Hm, seems like this place has seen some destruction in the past."

He sat down in the office chair and completely cleared off the desk, stuffing everything underneath it. Bringing up the monitor, and began going through the cameras. One camera showed the stage, yet it was completely empty. He then checked every camera to see if there was anything out of the ordinary; there was nothing. "Weren't there supposed to be animathingies here?" he said, sliding over and pressing the light button on the wall; again, there was nothing there.

Suddenly the phone rang, startling him, making him nearly fall out of the chair. He pressed the loudspeaker button and listened. A nervous voice filled the air, "Uh, hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you, to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?

"Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, 'Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within ninety days, or as soon as the property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced.'

"Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children, and we need to show them a little respect, right?

"Okay. So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of 'eighty-seven. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?

"Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area.

"So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh. Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night," the receiver clicked.

This made Mystery facepalm. He set his hat on the desk. "Seriously?" he muttered as he rolled over to the left and pressed the light. to his surprise each and every one of the characters were standing at the doorway. Before they could do anything, he slammed the door button and the door clamped shut. He didn't even get a good look at them besides their faces. "Okay what kind of machines do this? Wait, I can sense spirits in this place," he said.

He wheeled over to the left door and slammed the left door shut, and he crossed his arms. "Haven't even passed 1:00 AM and I'm already screwed," he laughed slightly to himself as he turned the left light on, followed by the right. They were gone. "Thank god," he muttered, opening both doors. As soon as he did, a purple blur jumped into the room from the left door and lunged at him. This gave him a better look at this machine.

It was quite feminine, surprisingly. It had long, purple ears, light pink eyes, and an average-figured machine-like body. He swung his legs up and kicked the machine in the chin, sending her flying out the left door. Running to the buttons, he slammed both doors shut again. "One, what the fuck. Two, since when did they start making kid friendly sex machines?" He turned the left light on and he could see her shadowy figure. "Hey, uh, this may be a long shot, but do you even talk?" he asked, leaning against the door.

"…Yes"

This surprised him but yet he spoke again, "Why did you try to attack me?" There was no response, only a tapping on the other door. He brought up the monitor and checked the time and power. It was still barely one in the morning. The power remaining was going down rapidly; he was sitting at eighty-seven percent. "You know, for a crappy building, this thing has a pretty good power system," he laughed but something silenced him. The same feminine voice from earlier; it was the bunny.

"I just wanted to meet someone new… Someone I don't see every day. Same old, same old," her voice sounded extremely realistic for a machine.

"If you wanted to meet me, why lunge at me?" he asked.

"I don't get much social interaction. I don t know how to approach anyone."

He scratched his head a bit as he listened to her, but then he opened the door to let her in. This time she didn't lunge at him. She walked straight in and sat on the desk in front of him

"You're not scared of me?" she asked him.

"Should I be?" he replied. She shrugged and lowered her head. "You see, I think I've experienced things much scarier than a machine attacking me. Speaking of which, sorry about your chin," he said, bowing his head in respect. He slowly opened the other door, making sure there wasn't anyone waiting to surprise him. There was no one, then he rolled back to his original spot and smiled at her. "My name is Mystery. May I ask who you are?" he asked.

She looked directly at him and smiled, "My name is Bonnie... It's nice to meet you Mystery." The night went on and there were no other disturbances from the other characters. Mystery spent the entire morning talking to Bonnie about herself. What she was, why she was here, and in return, he told her about himself. He even produced a ball of flame in the palm of his hand, which shocked Bonnie, yet she was quite mesmerized by it.

He quickly checked the time and he sighed, "Looks like we're out of time Bonnie; 6:00 AM is only a few minutes away. Perhaps you should go ahead and join the others on the stage, and I'll see you tomorrow night" She nodded as she got off the desk and started out the door. She looked back at him and opened her mouth to speak, but he shook his head silencing her. "I'll be back, don't worry." She smiled at him then left to join the others on the stage.

Mystery stood up and stretched his arms and legs. "Ah, crap! I was supposed to be investigating Rumiko's presence here. Damn," he said, before heading out to the parking lot. Rose was waiting for him, leaning against the same pole that had the flyer. She nodded in his direction.

"Find anything?" she asked, and he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Eh... yes. Wait, no… Well, I found spirits, but I didn't find Rumiko. I can feel him all over this place though," he sighed, hanging his head low, but she gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

"Well there's always tomorrow, okay hun?" she smiled and he nodded.

"So, where are we going? I mean, we can't just sit here all day, and we do need our rest," he yawned and leaned on her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"Ah that's gonna be a problem," she replied as she checked her phone. "There's a hotel not too far from here. Considering my appearance, it'd be good to keep myself hidden," she giggled. They both started walking in the direction of the hotel. He draped his trench coat over her head to hide her appearance, leaving his torso bare, except for the bandages that covered his stomach.

"Come, lets hurry. I'm tired," he said, yawning once again.
