Aichi raised his head up at the skies. The skies were still pitched-black and dark clouds were shielding the bright sun. It seems like it's going to rain. It's been a week since he had that dream. It wasn't the last time he had dream something awful in fact it's getting worse each day, the scenarios were different and getting horrible evey time he had dream but it always ended the same. He was always left behind by everyone in the end of his nightmare. Abandoned, .
Then the dread feeling he always had in the past week still remained and won't died down despite his friends assurances. In fact it's like his dreams, it always get worse each day and his worry only spiked up upon not seeing his friends Kourin and especially Kai according to Miwa; The brunette hasn't gone to any of his class and he can't contact him but Miwa just shrugged it off and says that Kai does things like that even in the past so it wasn't a big deal as Kai was a grown up man he can handle himself quite well than the others. Still not be able to see only indicates that something might happen to them and the blunette hoped that wasn't the case that they're only busy with their lives like Kourin who works as an idol so her school life-No, whole life is quite hectic. Despite knowing all this facts Aichi can't helped but to worry as those dreams keep pestering him and he knew that there is a hidden message behind them like a warning something not nice won't happen and it won't ended in his favor at all.
To add all of his anxiety and concern; Besides the dreams and the unease feeling in his chest. He also could sense that someone is following him and always watching his movement which scared the living lights in the boy. At first he thought it was just his imagination but his judgment proves to be wrong until he saw it himself one night, Aichi was about to sleep in that time and decided to take a good glance at the night skies before he closed his windows and went to bed for a nice rest but as he did that, his eyes caught something in between the alley behind a post, a lone figure standing looking intently at his general direction. Aichi could see who it is due to the fact it's night and dark at that time, his breath hitched as it eyes glints dangerously like a predatory manner as it look straight in his eyes it feels like his soul were cornered and he can't accept from the figure no matter how he struggles, And Of course, Aichi was the first one who broke the eye contact as he shut his window closed and covered it with the curtains. His heart racing fast of terror as he never felt that in a very long time. And in that night all he dreams were eyes glinting predatory at the dark while watching his every move waiting for him to be left behind by himself before he was completely alone before it strikes. That was one of Aichi's worst night.
As Aichi recalled that night, he sense another presence similar to the person who is watching him in the dark and this time around Aichi knew it wasn't his imagination and he continue to stand there alone in an empty park. He will be cornered and worse get captured by this secret watcher as he heard the rustling of clothes more precisely movements of the attacker but Aichi decided he won't show his fear as it would used against him and he don't want that as he will confront it for good.
Then much to the younger boy relief he felt another presence yet it's familiar and soothing unlike the other one. He thought he heard a growled of frustration but Aichi paid no heed at that as he give his full attention to the another person in the vicinity.
"Miwa-kun." Aichi muttered softly as he turned to face the blonde friend of his.
"Yo Aichi! What are you still doing here? It's already late and dangerous." Miwa stated as he stopped in front of the younger boy.
"Well-"
Miwa effectively cut him off by guessing as he had an idea what could bring the boy in the area despite the late hour. "Let me guess you are still worried about Kai aren't you? So you came here to check if he's here am I right?"
Aichi nodded silently. "I just can't helped it. My mind won't rest in peace until I see him in very own eyes safe."
Miwa felt sorry for the boy it's obvious how he felt for the older male but the other is stubborn to accept such compassion so in the end he always push the boy away as he was overwhelmed by such pure intentions not because he wants to, it's because he don't know how to expressed or reciprocating at situation like that as it's been long time ago since he felt the warmth of being love. And Miwa could only hoped that Kai will soon accept the loved Aichi's willing to give him as he deserve that despite of everything he had said to push away the boy from him.
Miwa smiled slightly, wanting nothing no more to relieved the boy from his worries. "Don't worry too much about it. Just like I said if I saw Kai I will instantly inform you about his state. Kai isn't a child anymore and I'm sure he knows how to take care of himself."
"But-"
"Aichi just have faith in him,Kay? I'll give him a good scolding if I meet him now for making such cute boy as you to be worried" Miwa joked, to enlightened the mood and he didn't fail at all from his attempt as a beautiful blush spread from the blunette's face.
"Miwa-kun! Stop it!" Aichi hissed out of embarrassment.
Miwa chuckled lightly and continued on. As he was having fun of teasing the boy besides Kai that is. "What? It's true I found you super adorable and quite edible!" His statement made the latter sputtered out of shocked and Miwa ignored because he wasn't done yet and he added with a dead serious tone when his confession followed up as he stared straight at his azure eyes with seriousness, Mirth and jokes have forgotten. "You know I'm quite jealous of Kai. It's rare to see someone pour out such genuine feelings for the other and I hoped sometimes it would be me that you will be looking at with such intense compassion and pure love instead of Kai."
Silence reign at them after Miwa's confession for a moment.
Aichi stared agape at Miwa, too flabbergasted to say a thing at his current state. He seriously didn't expect such thing coming out from Miwa and he hadn't noticed the other feelings about him. He felt like an idiot.
Aichi lowered his gaze at the ground, his bangs shadowing his facial features hiding what ever expression written in his face from the blonde card fighter. "Are you serious or you're just playing with me,Miwa?" He asked almost sounded like a whisper if Miwa wasn't paying any attention at the boy he will missed his silent question.
Miwa didn't managed to control his feelings at all. Yes, he had fallen for Aichi as well although he hid it very well from the boy just like Kai as he didn't want to lose any relationship established between whether it just friendship. That's more than enough but he could help to released all his bottled up emotions for the boy since Kai isn't present at the moment. All he had told him was true.
Miwa nodded. "I'm serious and I'm not playing with you. I've always have feelings for you."
Aichi clenched his fist,still not looking up from Miwa. "I-I..I can't" Shame engulfed him. He covered his face with hands as he felt tears starting to sting his eyes.
Miwa eyes softening at the boy before him. He already figured the rejection coming in his way. Miwa sighed and called softly. "Aichi look at me."
Aichi shook his head,refusing to meet his warm yet understanding gaze. "No."
Miwa sighed again and closed the distance between them. He slowly lifted Aichi's chin and removed his hands to see his face. And his heart clenched at the sight of his expression. His eyes were hurt and shamed completely shown in them. "I understand."
Aichi instantly thrown himself at Miwa's arm, crying without care as he continued to apologized at him. His voice muffled because of his shirt.
Miwa continued pat his head gently soothing the crying boy in his arms. Miwa had thought if he was rejected he will feel bitter and his feelings will died down but it did the opposite he felt glad and his feeling for the boy only grew. And he decided to keep that from himself at the moment. He hold Aichi until he completely calmed down and after a long moment the blunette finally relaxed in his arms.
When Aichi knows he fully calm. He extract himself from Miwa slightly to look up at his face and meet his gaze. And he mumbled softly. "I'm sorry. I can't.."
Miwa nodded. " I understand so don't worry about it and Never apologize for how you feel.. No one can control how they feel. The sun doesn't apologize for being the sun. The rain doesn't say sorry for falling.. Feelings just are."* He paused for a moment then he went on. "So don't apologize, Kay? And I won't as well as I don't regret my feelings at all for you. But I hoped we could still be friends after this..."
Aichi smiled warmly at Miwa. "Of course. Why won't you think something otherwise?"
Miwa didn't managed to answer as Aichi embraced him.
"I'm glad that there are people such as you see me worth of love.." Aichi said. "Thank you for loving me.. I hope I feel the same for you but it just not. Despite of that I can show my affection in a different way and I wish that will be enough for you..."
Miwa returned the embrace and treasured the moment. "Yes, I'd loved to! And that's more than enough for me,Aichi... Now just let me hold for today. Let me relish the feeling of your warmth.. And always remember that everyone is worth of love.."
Aichi closed his eyes and agreed. "I will and that's fine."
Miwa pulled away and beamed. "Now, let's get you home. It's late and are you sure it's okay for me to hold your hand in our way?" Miwa was glad Aichi wasn't being awkward at him.
Aichi smiled at him and that's more enough answer for Miwa's question as he happily walked Aichi home while holding his hand.
After a moment they arrived at Aichi's place and Aichi thanked him for everything.
"Anythin' for ya buddy." Miwa grinned at him.
Aichi waved a goodbye before going in.
As Aichi disappeared from the view. Miwa instantly frown as he felt something ominous yet familiar then it's gone. The reason he approach Aichi wasn't to confess at all but to make sure he went safe as he also sense someone in stalking the boy in the dark corners, the atmosphere screaming danger.
Miwa grits his teeth. He will make sure that Aichi is safe for Kai's sake and his as well. He won't let any harm near at the boy.
Never will he let that happen.

Kai was enjoying the new deck given to him by Takuto as overwhelming power keep his blood boiled with intense passion. Dark passion, The first person he tested its strength was Tetsu then Kenji Mitsusada and he wasn't disappointed even the least.
He can't wait to show this amazing power to Aichi and make him his forever.
Speaking of the boy it's been days since he had last since the boy so he decided to stalk him in the dark watching every move of him as every time he did that his desire for the blunette only grows. No, it wasn't his real feelings for him at all instead it was being corrupted by the evil influence of Link Joker that it becomes an dark obsession And one particular night, they had made an eye contact and he doubt that Aichi recognized it was him but he make sides that he gets what he wanted from him and the blue haired boy didn't fail him as he instantly gotten his message.
Then after that incident, Kai was busy again. Reversing people around the world, spreading the influence of evil. And none of the fighters he fought meets his standards. Yes, none of them were strong as his Aichi enough to be his equal. Well, not anymore but it doesn't decrease his dark attraction or should he say obsession for him. It doesn't matter at all whatever he is feeling for the boy as feelings were hindrance and weakness therefore he must not wield such emotion.
That's right, Sendou Aichi was his weakness but that soon will changed as he won't worry about his sake at all when he stood beside him for all eternity. He will locked everything about him..He won't need his freedom. Kai would gladly shown Aichi that all he will need and want is only him.
As he was finished with his task at the moment, he decided it's time for him to pay a visit and confront Aichi so Kai went to hunt a certain blue haired boy. It didn't take long for him to track down Aichi as he found him in his favorite spot, at the park. Standing in a deep thought as once again and Kai can't helped to be curious what made the boy like that. Could it be that he was thinking about him? That made Kai smirked as he knew that the boy has a huge admiration from him and made that's the reason why he is here .. To search for him and it pleased him Aichi sought his presence.
Few minutes had passed and Kai was tired of just watching the boy looking in a deep trance. No matter how much he liked watching him, he wanted to see him with different emotion especially fear. So, he let his presence known a little for the boy able to sense him and Aichi didn't disappoint him as he gasped out of surprise but his facial expression were still neutral and his glaze eyes are now burning with determination as if he was ready to confronted him and that's what the younger boy really planning on doing at the moment.
Kai made up his mind that it's time for him to revealed himself from the boy and make him his. But as he was about to come out from his hiding place someone have arrived and interrupted his plan. It's no other than his so called best friend Miwa. He let out a frustrated growl at the interruption but he kept his presence hidden for a moment as he observed silently the interaction between the male with mild curiosity what had brought the blonde here in the very place.
Kai gritted his teeth as the two talk with hushed voices and because of that he can't understand what conversation they are making at the moment. Then his eyes flashed dangerously at the intimacy of how the two holding each other. Jealousy and anger sprung in him at the sight he was witnessing. Could it be that he misunderstood Aichi? That Aichi doesn't want him instead he wants Miwa?. Kai won't let that happen as Aichi was his!
He followed the two walked away and watched they head at Aichi's home. And the damned Miwa still holding Aichi's hand intimately much to his utter annoyance and jealousy.
Kai waited Aichi to finished his farewell before he released his aura at Miwa who instantly sense him when the blonde whirled around to search him but failed miserably then he frown at the hidden mystery person lurking in the dark that he can't still see. On the other hand Kai wanted nothing more than lashed out his anger at his traitorous best friend for stealing the person he wanted most. He was about to give in at the idea on removing the thorn of getting Aichi but all of the sudden Takuto called him with another mission and as part of the reversed he can't object at that so with a last dead glare directly at Miwa he left the area.
Kai swore that no matter what he will have Aichi whether is a not good method for example reversing the people that Aichi cared for just to ascertain the blunette will be his forever.
Yes, no one can stop him even if it's Aichi. He won't stand a chance against all there's left for the boy is give in his arms.. And be locked for all eternity by the dark influence of Link Joker.

Revered Takuto was sipping his tea to relax a bit when a very enraged Kai arrived at his room when he finished his assignment and he can't helped but to be amused and curious at the emotion the brunette emanating in the present time. There's only one person who could bring such emotion in him and that is Sendou Aichi. He was certain he hasn't touch the boy in fear to lose the important pawn in this game when he was really tempted to kill the blunette but he instantly stopped himself as he was reminded there's time to do that.
Though he was also curious at why Kai visited him in such late hour.
"So what brings you here at my humble adobe, Kai Toshiki?" Reversed Takuto inquired as he knew well the boy won't start a conversation unless someone did.
Kai glared at him. "Is there any assignment for me tomorrow?"
Reversed Takuto arched an eyebrow. "Eager aren't we?"
Kai growled dangerously. "I'm not playing with you Takuto! I want to know if there's any assignment for me because I have an important business tomorrow that can't be delayed!"
"Oh, and what is this important business you are planning on doing tomorrow that you are willing to take a off?"
"None of your business! Now, answer the damn question!" Kai snapped.
The silver haired boy sighed at the older male impatience. "No, there's any assignment for you tomorrow but in the next day we will revealed Void's will so is our identity if you want you can joined me at the announcement"
Kai turned to leave and he added hastily. "Good and I'm not interested at such dire events"
Reversed Takuto stopped him as he called the brunette attention for the last time. "This important business you're planning.. Are you going to make Aichi a reverse?"
Kai stopped and looked at him slightly for a brief time then shook his head as he replied with monotone voice "No but I'm just going to remove one of the obstacles for me to obtained my wish" With he took his leave without awaiting for any response at the agent of Void.
Takuto slumped dejectedly at his chair. The longer Kai refused to changed Aichi into a reverse the more he was tempted to take on the boy.
"Watch him" Takuto ordered coldly.
His assistant nodded before following Kai outside.
The silver haired boy will need to wait a little longer for succession of his ultimate motive for Sendou Aichi into fruition.
"Soon... Very soon, You. Sendou Aichi will be ours and you would become the key for the succession of Void's will. And that is to fulfill the condition of World end." Reversed Takuto chuckled darkly.

Aichi awoke with a start as he was covered with sweat. A heart racing fast and his breathing were ragged. His eyes darting around frighteningly as he search for his dream opponent but sighed in relief that there's no one there beside himself. Slowly his mind that thick with sleep were starting to register that everything is just a dream nothing more and he was awake and it won't harm him again.
He covered his face with sweaty palms as he took deep calming breaths, his entire form is still quivering due of shock and terror. It just a dream but it felt so real that he almost wished that he died there.
Slowly, Aichi removed his hands from his face and leaned at the head board. "What was that?" He asked with confusion. This dream was completely different from the other dreams he was having this past weeks. There were creatures that he never thought existence tainting the world with pure evil. But he can't remembered what is called. What is the reason he experienced that was it because of Kourin's weird behavior towards him in the camp? Aichi shook his head. His mind was complete mess and he can't put them into together to solve the riddle behind scenes inside of his nightmare every night and his unease feelings.
A soft yet melodic chirping from a distant pierced with his troubled thoughts.
Aichi glanced up to see what or where is the sound came from. And he gasped out to be find the same blue bird in the pet shop now resting in his wooden desk while it was staring at him.
How on earth did it get here inside?
The blue haired boy turned to look at his window to check if he locked them and he did. So where did the bird came in?
Another chirping interrupted him this time around it's much closer.
Aichi shrieked back out surprise when he found the blue bird is already resting comfortably on his lap when it supposedly at his desk. How the heck did it get there so fast without him noticing it or hearing it wings flap?
The soft chirping echoed through his entire room. Aichi focused on the bird and it seems like it's laughing at his reaction when he meet its gaze it was filled with amusement. And the blue haired boy couldn't helped to think that maybe it's understands him. With that realization his gaze softened all of his worries and fears been replaced by relief and soothing feeling at his surprise company.
Aichi held out his hand for the blue bird land there and it did. "What are you doing here?" Aichi asked softly as he raised high a bit his hand to level his gaze at the blue bird.
It stare at him at the moment then images flashed in his eyes.
Images that held all of his questions behind his nightly dreams.
"Link Joker...Seed?" Aichi managed before he blacked out.
The blue bird watched silently as Aichi slumped back on his bed in deep sleep. Its job to warned the boy is done so it need to take its leave again. With a last chirp it was gone leaving the boy with his future resolve when those images takes place.

As Miwa promised he went to the park every twice a week but he hasn't seen Kai even his shadow.
Miwa sighed. "Damn. He still not here.." Miwa scratched the back of his head as he leaned at one of the trees. He could feel the headache coming. "What would I say about Aichi?"
"What about Aichi?" A strong and cold baritone voice inquired before him. Kai!
Miwa whirled to face the brunette. "Kai!" Miwa's cheerful facial expression immediately morphed into frown as soon as his eyes landed at the figure he been looking for weeks. The aura surrounded at the brunette were ominous and dark just like he sense with Aichi. "What happened to you?"
"I believe I'm the first one who asked a question so should you be the one giving me explanations than me?" Kai countered dryly.
Miwa was about to lashed out at his friend when he noticed for the very first time with Kai and recognized who it is. "Hey you are-?!" He was stopped by the voice from the laptop, a figure appeared in the screen that he won't forget. Tatsunagi Takuto but not. He has a sinister aura like Kai who started to speak about something that made Miwa eyes widened with horror. INVASION AND WORLD DESTRUCTION.
As Takuto finished his declaration about the countdown through destruction the screen went blank again. Miwa instantly turned to Kai and snarled at him.
"So, that's what you'be been doing the past weeks. Do you honestly think that Aichi will be happy if he find out you turned something like this?!"
"It's none of your business. But why do care about Aichi so much?" Kai ignored his earlier statement.
"It's because Aichi is my friend!" Miwa exclaimed.
Kai grittd his teeth with annoyance and sneered angrily at Miwa. "LIES! Do you honestly think I'll believe such thing? Now, I'll make sure you thorn separating me from Aichi will be remove!" Kai take out his reverse deck. The aura around it is much malicious than ever. It's fueling Kai's rage and jealousy clouding his right judgments.
Miwa look startled at Kai's ststatement and his deck. He figured out that would be the caused of change at his friend's personality and he can't let that continue as he promised to Aichi that he will helped him see Kai. The real Kai he fallen in love with. Not this Kai been tainted by evil influence.
With the resolve to opened his eyes back through reality and bring him back from Aichi. Miwa take out his deck as well in order to battle Kai. "I will opened your eyes that been clouded by that tainted power and bring back you to Aichi! The real Kai he had cared so much!"
That's was the cue for them to start their card fighting. Kai knew despite Miwa's attempt to beat him it will be a futile attempt as there's no way he stand against someone superior such as him who holds great power than none individual dreamed off ever existed. He will show to Miwa what real despair is and that Aichi was his to begin with so there's no reason for him to return at Aichi instead it should be the opposite Aichi is the one supposedly be the one who remains at his side not him.
Miwa really tried his hardest to snapped Kai but he can't beat him no matter what in the end he was defeated by him. He had failed Aichi.
Aichi... I'm terribly sorry I can't bring back Kai just like I've said to you but...

Aichi finally realized what is the hidden messages of his dreams and the images of the blue bird that shown him what would transpired the future. It's about this..
His friends been defiled by such power even Kourin, Kamui and Miwa.. Especially Kai. He can't let this continue.. All of his friends were fighting for the sake of the world and future so he must stopped hesitating. He won't run anymore. He can't tolerate a world such as this therefore he will fight even it's mean battling his friends and mostly Kai. He will confront and bring them back!

Kai watched from above as Aichi arrived from Takuto's place. They made an eye contact but immediately been cut off by Miwa who instantly challenged the boy much to annoyance of the brunette.
"Aichi.. Why don't you fight me? I've always dream to have such intense fight with you again.." Miwa cooed.
"Miwa-kun.." Aichi was about to take his challenge as he knew what Miwa's real intention when he did that.. He's trying to warned him that Kai is far ahead of him and he must be prepared for the worst case scenario for that Aichi was grateful even he knew it was Miwa's subconscious doing that for him.
"No, I'll fight you!" Misaki stepped forward beside Aichi.
Aichi turned to her and what not surprised to see the compassion and determination burning from her eyes. If this is all over just maybe Miwa would forget about him and noticed that there is somebody who cares for him like he does for Aichi.
"Misaki-san.."
"Tokura I'm not interested in fighting you at all like I said I want to fight Aichi."
"And I said I'll fight you didn't I make myself clear?" Misaki insisted.
Miwa sighed dramatically and grinned at her. "Fine, I'll fight you first but don't expect me to show any mercy with you. Nee-chan."
"I expect no less."
Aichi tap Misaki's shoulder and Misaki get his message as she nodded at him. "Don't worry. I won't lose and I'll bring him back for you." She mumbled softly.
Aichi shook his head gently and smiled gently at her. "No, not for my sake. But fight for your sake. You wanted him back for yourself right? Then show him how you truly feel about him. I'm sure that it would reach him."
Misaki's eyes widened and Aichi didn't await from further response from her as he stepped back from the battlefield.
Then the fight begun. Everyone watched intently at how the outcome will ended including Kai.
Miwa keep on pushing Misaki at the corner but Misaki always managed to stand against it. It was such one of the intense fight they ever witnessed as the two of the fighters never backing off. In the end Misaki's feelings reached over Miwa's and she won against him thus reverting him to his normal self much to the others relief.
Now, it's Aichi turn to faced the person whom cared deeply.
"Aichi.." Miwa called anxiously.
"I know, I might not be able to bring him back from the first fight but I assure every thing will work out in the end." He told to the others.
"Aichi, What do you mean by that?"
Silence meet their question.
Aichi clenched his fist. He knew that he can't stop fate from happening but he hoped he could at least changed it.
"Are you ready Aichi?" Kai asked as he stepped down to fight the boy. "To be defeated by me?" He smirked darkly at the boy.
Aichi didn't answer at all. He just took out his deck and begin to shuffles it. That's more enough answer for Kai as he did the same.
Then the battle field of Link Joker engulfed there surrounding as they put there deck in there respectively places.
"Stand up-" They started.
"-The-" Kai added.
"Vanguard!" They finished with unison.
Aichi's heart clenched as he saw what unit Kai's using. Link Joker instead of his real deck, Kagero. He can't believe that he of all of the other people tempted to take such evil power and let it clouded his judgment.
On the other hand, Kai was excited to reversed Aichi so he could finally have him just like he always wanted.
"Why are you using that unit, Kai-kun?" Aichi's voice pierced through his reverie.
"Isn't it obvious? I wanted power and this is the thing I've been searching for. Therefore I seized it when the opportunity comes! Now, look what I've become I'm finally stronger than anyone and at last you can finally see me as your equal!"
Oh how Aichi wanted to chuckled bitterly at the very moment but held it from himself. The situation had been reversed and reverted before it's him who wanted to be Kai's equal so he grabbed the blind power, PSYqualia to become stronger and Kai snapped him out by saying it wasn't real strength and he only become much weaker than he was before. Now, It was Kai who desired to become his equal therefore he fall from the grace of Link Joker, an evil entity whose goal is to invade and destroy their world which he can't let it happen no matter what.
"Equal you say? I don't think so. Even if you defeated me at this fight it won't changed anything at all the person I admired become weaker when he fall from grace at the blind power of evil." Aichi stated dryly.
His statement anger Kai even more. "You will surrender at my power! I'll show you the real meaning of despair!" Kai shouted with outrage.
Aichi was saddened at this. It only proves he abandoned them by his false ambition of getting stronger. He forgotten what really matters.
Kai pushed Aichi in the edge despite his best efforts to beat him and brought him back into his senses. The outcome of the battle was both favoured by Kai and Takuto as Aichi lost in the match.
Kai chuckled maliciously at the sight of defeated Aichi. "At last you will be mine!"
Aichi glared at him defiantly. "I will never be yours. So stop dreaming! You hypocrite!"
Kai's eyes flashed red. Everyone instantly went to defend their fallen friend.
"Move!" Kai growled.
"Never!"
Kai is ready to attacked them and get his Aichi but his movements been put into halt when Takuto desired his presence. He mentally cursed the silver haired boy at his frequently wrong timing in summoning him.
"You guys are lucky as it seems liked I have different affairs to attend at. But remembered this, there's nothing you can do to save Aichi once he become a reversed and I shall return to pick him up once I'm finished with my business. So be prepared and take care of what is mine!" Dark miasma covered them and then Kai is gone when the clouds died down.
"Aichi! Onii-san!" Kamui's voice broke out their trance.
All of them turned at limp form of Aichi who had collapsed from the ground.
All of them approached him but did bother touched him as the boy started to changed into a reversed fighter but Aichi's struggling against being reversed with all of his might.
"What should we do? Kai is right! If Aichi Onii-san changed into a reversed it will be hard to win against him!" Kamui panicked.
Silence reign at them as the sound only can be heard is Aichi's painful struggles.
"..We had no choice but to fight him. I'm certain that Aichi would never want to be a slave of the evil power like Link Joker" Misaki said after a long silence.
Then rushed footsteps heard at the field. And a very familiar voice exclaimed. "There's no need for you to fight, Sendou."
Hope surged in them as they turned at the voice. And they saw team dreadnought and they're carrying a huge mirror where the real Takuto lies.
"Sendou-kun will be fine but.." Takuto started as he said that their hope instantly died. "...If the reversed fighters or Link Joker didn't been completely defeated there is a high chance that Sendou-kun will die." He finished.
Everyone didn't moved nor speak after those words escaped from the real Takuto's mouth. They don't know what to do if that ever happen.
"I- I won't die so do what you must." Aichi's weak yet firm voice cut through the stunned silence. "I won't die die and be defeated by something such as this. I still have an obligation to finished. A battle to settle with so please stop worrying about my state. I'm not weak and never will be as I'm not alone in this fight."
They were shocked to see an Aichi's standing despite of his current bad condition. After a moment of staring Aichi's eyes rolled and he collapsed. Luckily Naoki and Miwa caught him just in time before he hits the ground.
The others looked at Takuto waiting for him to helped their friend. Takuto nodded and held out Aichi's hand, a gentle glow engulped his entire form. He had no doubt Aichi will be overcome this trial of fate due to his strong will and heart. And that will be the key to end Link Joker and reversed fighters.

Reversed Takuto smirked at their neared victory. Now that Sendou Aichi will be part of Void's pawn and his will be the key for their success. He must thanked Kai Toshiki for the nice performance so he summoned his presence to give a little present. He didn't wait any further as soon as he called him, he arrived.
"Why did you call me? Can't you see that I'm busy." Kai sneered.
"Oh Hi! I'm glad you came and I'm sorry to interrupt your reunion with Sendou Aichi but you must not concern yourself any further with the boy because he is going to die.. "
Kai eyes widened with horror and shocked. "What did you say?"
"Opps, did I say that out loud? Don't worry, Kai. His corpse will be still yours once he is gone." Takuto cackled evilly and before Kai could attacked him. His gone.
Kai fell over his knees at the thought Aichi will die and it's his fault. If that ever happens he wouldn't never knew what to do. He stayed at the cold floor for a very long time before he snapped at his stupor. His urge to see Aichi's overwhelming so he stand up against his feet once again and ready to go down but stopped when Takuto entered. He was slightly surprised to see disarray.
Reversed Takuto and Kai stared at one another before one of them could say a thing. The doors opened, revealing the arrival of Ren and Aichi who seems perfectly fine and still himself. That made Kai frowned. What the hell is going on? Should Aichi been reversed by now so how come he is still not yet changing?
The tense silence been interrupted by Takuto as he looked at them with his wicked smile much to the other two occupants distaste aside from Kai of course as he was used to see such expression from the silver haired boy.
"Why don't you fight them with my gift,Kai. Should you test out it first at Sendou who seems eager to face you again for another defeat." Takuto mocked that earned him a nasty glare at the blue haired boy.
"I don't need to fight again the same person I defeated once as it will be boring." Kai stated but didn't added he will check him later after he was done with the other then he turned at Ren who smiled at him but that smile could froze the entire population. Ren was beyond furious at his action.
Ren removed his gaze from the brunette and looked at Aichi, silently asking his permission if it's alright if he is the first one who fight him off.
Aichi nodded curtly. "Good luck."
Ren beamed at Aichi as he embraced him much to the shock and confusion of the blunette. "Thanks that means a lot, Aichi-kun. Don't worry, I'll buy you sometime so rest okay? Don't exert yourself too much or you're seriously going to die.." The last part were louder enough for the other two occupants to hear. He knew that it would affect them mostly Kai and he is right as soon as those words escaped from his mouth Kai instantly froze on the spot and the reversed Takuto as well though in a different reasons than Kai.
Ren inwardly smirked at their reaction. It looks like they were rabbits caught in action which added with his amusement.
"It's okay. I won't do anything that will caused my life for further danger.." Aichi's reassuring voice pierced through his musing.
"Good!" Ren chirped happily as he pulled away from the boy and walked over to Kai who seemed able to regained his bearings. "Hello, Kai~ I'd always thought it was you who reversed Tetsu and Asaka and it seems I am right about it as no ordinary Cardfighter could beat those two easily."
"Enough of the useless chatter and let's get over with it." The Vanguard stand board of Link Joker appeared.
"Indeed, I know how you wanted to get near at Aichi-kun again and make sure he won't die...But, it's your fault that he is in that state." Ren stated darkly.
Kai didn't commented on that as they started their match.
Aichi and reversed Takuto watched on the sideline as the fight takes on. The reversed Takuto couldn't keep himself from sneaking glances at Aichi and wonder how come he still able standing like nothing happen. Even the real Takuto's help it would not be enough to sustain his life force being drain by the reversed inside him while he continue to struggle.
"How long are you going to keep staring at me?" Aichi asked with slight irritation.
"Why bother fighting when things will be much better if you just give in and accept the reversed? At least in that case you won't suffer anymore nor you wouldn't worry about dying." Reversed Takuto exclaimed.
"And become your puppet? There's no way I'll be blinded again by false power even if means for me to face death itself" Aichi simply replied.
"Well, then suit yourself as Link Joker can't be defeated no matter what." Reversed Takuto cackled darkly and twistedly.
"Your overconfidence and arrogance will be your downfall." Aichi finally looked at him in the eyes and for the first time of his life Reversed Takuto felt pure fear as the eyes of Aichi shown him complete truth of his demise.
Reversed Takuto were the first one who removed the eye contact with Aichi as he felt his life being drained by merely looking at his eyes. Then when he return his gaze at the match is all over. Kai is the victor as usual. And that boost his arrogance and overconfidence again so is his pride.
He snickered evilly at Aichi. "See Sendou? There's no way you lowly beings beats us! Even Suzugamori Ren haven't any match at us! So what chance do you have to defeat us if you've already been beaten?!" He taunted Aichi.
Aichi just stared at him for a moment then sighed. "Like I told you that arrogance will be your downfall. Ren-san would be fine because he won't be reversed as I'll beat you before that happens." He took out his deck.
Reversed Takuto ignored the small fear rising inside of him and faced Aichi. "Fine! Entertain me, Sendou Aichi with the cries and screams of your despair and defeat!"
Before Kai could confront either Aichi nor Reversed Takuto to know why Aichi's dying. Aichi had already challenged Takuto into a Cardfight and Of course the latter accepted for his further amusement. So the only thing Kai could do at the moment is to watched and listened at how things transpired between the two.
Takuto keep taunting Aichi but at first it wasn't breaking his spirit but when he mentioned Kourin's state. Aichi's neutral expression faltered so is his spirit.
Kai frowned a bit at that. It seems like Aichi cared for Kourin too much for his liking for him to be affected by such lame taunting. Though it's Aichi's persona to love everyone regardless of everything so he immediately shook the idea of losing the boy's affection towards him but due to his actions Aichi was putting his life on the line and he can't helped but to feel guilty and started to regret his actions. Aichi was right, False power won't do him good in the end you'll only be the one that will suffered the consequences of your sins. If ever Aichi didn't win against Reversed Takuto he will fight him and beat him after that he will forever disappear in their lives as his own retribution for his crimes. With his resolved been already made up he return his focus back on the match.
Just as he thought Aichi was about to give up from the fight; His fighting spirit returned when he heard Mitsusada Kenji's voice and the others that refused to become a slave of Link Joker.
Hearing his friends struggles and desire to destroy Link Joker is more than enough for Aichi to composed himself back. He mentioned that even Kourin had lost her memories about him and the others, he will find her then create new memories as Aichi was certain their paths will crossed again and when that happens Aichi will not let go of her, he will give her what she had lost and that is her memories.
Aichi looked down at his deck and pick one card before staring back straight in the reversed Takuto's eyes. "I'll set the whole world free!" He raised his hand up in his head then slammed it on the Vanguard circle. "Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred!"
Takuto taunted that he knew the card skill and it won't work against World End.
While watching the match, Something land on his shoulders, Kai turned only to see the same blue bird in the pet shop he and Aichi been with. "You-?" His sentence been cut short when he heard Takuto shouted an 'Impossible'. Kai turned his gaze back at the match and only to see all Aichi' rear guards been locked were already free.
"For the sake of everyone who is dear to me... For the sake of this world that I love!" Aichi shouted as he give the final blow at Reversed Takuto successfully giving him the six damaged.
The reversed Takuto went in rampage going as far to bring Aichi with his demise as he was enraged that someone fragile like Aichi beaten him. Despite his attempt to bring Aichi with him been a complete futile as the real Takuto saved the boy and bid everyone farewell as he end everything with the cost of his life.
Aichi look saddened at the death of real Takuto but also glad the battle with Link Joker is over.
He collapsed with his knees trying to catch his breath and strength back.
Then the sound of footsteps approaching his general direction echoed through the entire place.
He looked up only to meet up the cold emerald eyes of Kai.
"The opponent I've always seeking is just already in front of me..." Kai said.
"Kai-kun..." By the sight of Kai hovering at him; he knew it wasn't over. Kai isn't free from his own burden and he wanted to help him get back to normal once again. Aichi didn't need the word of asking a Cardfight , The brunette Presence is in front of him is enough confirmation that he wanted one so he would give him that. Despite the pain and exhaustion of his entire form he stood up to face Kai.
After a moment that Aichi had stand up, Ren regained his bearings and see that Aichi and Kai was about to have a Cardfight but he saw how dangerous the area around them so he tried to stopped them but seeing at the two doesn't care about their surrounding as the only thing matters to them is to settle scores with one another. Knowing that the fight can't be put hold and must be done. Ren left them to finished what they should end and settled.
Once their battle started Kai also begun talking to him. " I was seduced by the prospect of becoming ... Of becoming the strongest. That's my weakness, My sin. I sold my soul to Link Joker. Even I sensed it was an evil entity. I gave into temptation.."
Aichi remained quiet so Kai went on as he lowered his head as he touch his reversed Kagero deck.
".. A demon inhabits my heart. If another such opportunity happened to my way, I'm sure I would choose the same path. Even if it hurt you guys and endangered earth again. I'm pretty sure I would..." He paused for a moment and after a long silence he looked up to meet the piercing blue eyes of the person whom he cared deeply but put into danger that made Kai's breath hitched. And so he decided. ".. So, I've come into decision that I would forever disappear from your lives so none of you could ever hurt again especially you, Aichi.." Kai come into conclusion that he would continued to be selfish at the moment as for the very last time he would have an intense Cardfight with the boy as he would give his everything before he went away and separated with them forever.
Aichi still unresponsive at Kai as he take another card from his deck. He wasn't happy at Kai's choose of punishment as nobody deserved such cruel fate, to live in solitude in his entire life. It's like your good as dead when you did that. If Kai made up his mind then all he needed to do is to convinced him that's not the right choice at all.
"I'm not fighting you to say goodbye, Kai." He finally spoke his mind after his long silence. " I want you to understand that you're not alone!"
His words shocked Kai. "Aichi..."
Despite Aichi's words, Kai refused to accept it so Aichi decided his words were not enough to snapped out Kai from his self-loathing so Aichi combined his words with his attacks and feelings for the older male so it could reached him.
"I don't deserve to be idolized by you," Kai removed his gaze from the boy refusing to make further more eye contact with the boy. Shame and guilt eating him alive.
But Aichi wasn't having any of this, if Kai is stubborn to heed the others' desire so is Aichi.
"What lost in a Vanguard fight can only be regained in a Vanguard fight.." Aichi's statement get Kai's attention. "That's right, you're the one who taught me that Kai-kun. Your sins can only be redeemed in Vanguard fights."
"Even if I lost to temptation again and hurt you?" Kai inquired.
"Yeah, no matter what happens I'll always be with you!" Aichi said firmly. "When you make a mistake, I'll stop you. I'll put everything I have on the line; No matter how many times. Fighting together,hurting each other, Encouraging each other,competing, building bond of friendship! We should join forces now more than ever! Because you're my idol,my friend and my rival! Because you mean so much to me. I can't afford to lose you!"
As Aichi was finished done he called Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred and their avatar Blaster Blade in the battle field.
Aichi's words warmth something inside Kai and it continued to grow more as Aichi continued to pour out his feelings for him.
"This time, I'll become your leader!" Aichi shouted as he attacked Kai's Vanguard. "If I get stronger , you'll get stronger,too."
Kai eyes widened as the young Aichi image appeared before him, thanking him for everything as he grew as he know. He shown him that he,Kai Toshiki will never be alone again in his journey as he will remained forever grateful for their meeting.
Kai eyes softened. His reverse mark started to fade away and smiled at Aichi as his attack went through giving him his six and final damaged. He had lost but he never felt so content and free and things seemed to be okay. He smiled softly at the blunette. "I'm no match for you."
Aichi's only response was a gentle smile.
No words were needed further exchanged as they could easily understand one another.
Both were glad to be back at the normalcy of everything and the beginning of changed through out their relationship.
The black ring above the sky burst into thousands of pieces and both hurried out.
Outside, their friends were waiting. And seemed to be relieved to see the blue haired boy safe but when their eyes landed at the person beside Aichi they froze and Kai easily understand their reaction, his sins weren't both easily forgotten and forgiven. He must worked very hard to earn the right to be back in their good side.
Aichi noticed the sudden changed of atmosphere. He knew it would be a rough start for Kai to start again but he will be just fine. Aichi is certain of that fact.
Wordlessly, Aichi grabbed his wrist,held his hand tightly to his and smiled at him which surprised Kai and the others as he pulled him closer to their other friends. If Aichi accepeted Kai again then they will do so as everyone deserved a second chance and love.
Aichi raised his head above the sky and to see the dark clouds started to dissipated. And a creature flying caught his gaze and held a moment. The blue bird. In just one blink of his eyes it's gone. He looked back his friends who started to joked around Kai which made him glad at that warm and welcoming atmosphere they're giving at the brunette.
Then he meet Kourin's loving and warm gaze that filled with gratitude.
She smiled at him and he did the same. At the exact moment she pulled out his black ribbon from her golden locks and Aichi's happiness turned into sadness as it was her saying goodbye to him.
And the start of his...

Several days later after the mortal battle against Link Joker which embroiled the whole world, the world has returned to peace.
And that made Kai glad as he was walking back to his apartment he didn't expect to see once again Aichi standing in the pet shop where he told him the stories about the blue bird that brings happiness. And he was shocked to see such grim expression written in the boy's facial features as he stared at the thick glass front of the shop.
"Aichi?..." Kai ventured hesitantly.
Aichi immediately snapped in his reverie and he turned to face Kai with a smile and this time his expression brightened. "Oh hi, Kai-kun! What brings you here?"
"I should be the one asking you that." Kai said as he come beside the boy. "So pray tell me, What are you doing here so late?" He asked the boy with a frown his reflection is enough to show how displease he is from the careless attitude of the boy. He couldn't see anything that interest the boy from coming here besides the blue bird he seems to be admired but it wasn't there.
Aichi's smile faltered once again. "I just want to buy the blue bird so I could free him so he could soar up from the skies once again but it seems like I'm too late as someone already get it. That person might free him or locked him forever in that cold cage and for those poor little thing that is more than a death sentence to them to not be able to feel the blue sky. All I could hope is that who ever has it free him already from his long imprisonment.." He clenched his fist tightly that his knuckles turning white.
Kai, in the other hand who doesn't want to see the boy like that do what he could only think of and that is to hold his hand and tell him what he had witnessed from his very eyes.
"Don't worry, I'm sure that he is already free from his cage.." Kai assured softly.
"Why did you think so?" Aichi blinked at him.
"Because I've saw that little blue bird flying at the skies few days ago."
Kai thought if he told the boy about that it would cheered him but it didn't effect him at all as he expression remained grim much to his dismay.
Then the boy lowered his head and muttered under his breath softly and low so it didn't reach Kai's hearing range. "Is that so? I'm so envious of him.."
"Aichi..?!" Kai didn't managed to finish his sentence as a pair of soft lips silenced him. Aichi's kissing him! And the brunette melted at the kiss.
Aichi pulled away slightly and mumbled gently at his lips. "I'm really glad I have met you. I'd never been so happy in my life therefore I am completely and forever grateful at you, Toshiki-kun.." With the last touched of Kai's cheeks. Aichi smiled sadly at him.
Kai whose mind is in dazed barely registered Aichi's words and when he finally did realized all of his feelings for the boy is not simply obsession but love.. The boy is already gone when his mind finally cleared up at the lost presence of Aichi.
He searched and called out the boy but with no such luck so he could only hoped he would have a better conversation with the boy tomorrow at the strange events transpired between them at a very short time and probably have a different relationship with him a much closer one that is.
Aichi watched in the corner as Kai disappeared from his sight and he walked towards the Card capital to take a last glance before he did what he must...
And that is... To bid his own final farewell to them as he wouldn't be able to see them again for all eternity...
With that last glance, Sendou Aichi ceased existence through out the entire world and leave their memories..
..Except at one person and that is..
Kai Toshiki...
