Caught Up In the Moment

There are times i wish i was still in bed. Today is one of those days. My 6-year-old brother is angry at my friend Lincoln Loud. I didn't know what came over my little brother. All i know was he crowled out from behind the couch in the living room. i would have to talk to Arviel later.
"Is that your little brother?"
"Yes, Lincoln he's my brother, Arviel"
"is there something the matter with him?"
"I don't know whats gotten in to him..."
The next day, Lincoln loud invited me to sit with the rest of his friends at lunch time at school. Liam seems to like me as a friend. Zack seems to be a little standoffish. Rusty haven't shown up yet. And there's Clyde McBride...
"You don't seem to like Clyde that much"
"Yeah, because he blamed Clyde for stealing his girlfriend"
"I didnt Steal his girlfriend!"
"I know Clyde, you seemed to be dating Elizabeth Wendley a couple days ago"
"Lincoln tried to play peacemaker, but according to Ronnie-Anne, he made it worse..."
"Look guys, i feel bad enough as it is!"
"Yeah guys, I don't want to talk about it anymore, can we change the subject?"
"Why do you hate me?"
"I don't hate you Clyde, I just need time to get over Elizabeth..."

I was in an emotional termoil. One moment I wanted to Strangle McBride, but the next moment I realized that Elizabeth Wendley is not my girlfriend anymore. She made that very clear. So I should just move on and get on with my life. I'm not the kind of person that holding a grudge against the person because of my relationship problems.
"You know Loud, I'll take you up on that offer!"
There were shocking expression all over the table we sat at. I got up and walk over to Clyde. I just sighed and held out my hand to McBride.
"You know, I not the kind of person to hold a grudge. I realized that I can't blame anyone for this, I'm just going to have to move on. what you say McBride, are we friends?"
This took a while, but eventually he took my hand and shook it.
"Friends!"
This made the white haired boy very happy. but to me, it hurts me to realized i lost Elizabeth Wendley the girl i had a huge crush on, but It is for the best...
