Chapter 2: A Secret Pet

Edith was bicycling down the streets of Brooklyn with a red wagon tied to the back and in the wagon was three soda boxes, per flavor. One was orange, one was pineapple, one was grape, and each of the three boxes come with twenty-four cans of soda. She was trying to figure out a way to make Craig feel better.

As she was bicycling, she spotted a store that sells exotic and rare animals. She parks her bike against a pole and puts a chain around it. As well as the wagon.

She goes inside and sees a bunch of animals. She sees one that got her attention. It was called a Mogwai named Gizmo. She picks it and buys it for 25 dollars. As she was paying for it, the store clerk gives her a note of how to take care of a Mogwai. Edith began to read the note.

1) Do NOT put it in the sunlight

2) Do NOT get them wet

3) Do NOT feed it after midnight

Edith then puts Gizmo in the box and closes it and wraps it around with blue wrapping paper. Then, she pokes some air holes in it.

She then exits out the store and puts the box on her wagon, along with the sodas, and unchains her bicycle. Then, she starts to ride down the street.
