A/N: Hello there! I'm back again with a two parter! Now this part was the story kinda drained me... Take that however you want. Also, referring to the question about the White Ranger. They will be in the story and it will NOT be Tommy. That's all I will say.

I'd also appreciate it if you guys could leave review to satiate my 'Attention-Whore' syndrome and make me feel better about wasting most of my time on this. Anyways... I hope you enjoy.

He was in a dark cave with the sounds of water dripping bouncing off the walls. He stumbled through the darkness, hoping to find the opening of the cavern.

Near the corner of the path, he came across a small beam of light. Following it, he was lead to five large stone statues of different animals.

There was a large bird that rested on a boulder, a horse like creature that had a rhombus-like shaped body and on its head was a singular horn. Next to it, was another horse with the same body shape but without the horn. Below the bird, was a lion that had a tank-like body.

But what really grabbed his attention was the statue of a western dragon, its large body took up most of the space of the cave. Its fierce eyes pierced through his soul and even though it was nothing but stone, he could swear it was growling at him.

He inched closer to it, stretching out his arm towards the statue. But as he placed his fingertips on its forehead. The dragon started to tremble. Bits of dust crumbled away, revealing it's red mechanical body.

He staggered back as it whipped its long body around. But as it laid its eyes on him, he ignited a fire in between it's jaws and sent a wave of fire that engulfed him.

Edward Yeung jolted up from his bed, wiping away sweat off of his face. He placed a hand on his chest and slowed down the pace of his breath. Ed wobbled out of his bed and over to the bathroom and began washing his face.

As he looked into the mirror, he saw bags under his eyes and how messy his hair was, looking to have recently have held a family of birds. 'That… that was a dream, sure it looked real… but that was just a dream…' He weakly assured himself as he brushed his teeth.

Spitting out the paste, he began to get himself dressed for today. Putting on a pair of black jeans and a red t-shirt. Before walking out of the bathroom, he saw his old red hoodie. It had three white triangles, being modeled after the original Power Rangers. A very nostalgic sight, he hasn't worn that since senior year of high school...

'Eh, why not' he shrugged as he grabbed the hoodie and began slipping it on.

"Good morning Ed!" His mother placed down a plate of sausage and eggs onto the table as he walked into the kitchen. "You have work today right?"

"Yep…" He confirmed as he pour himself a glass of orange juice. 22 years old and yet Edward Yeung has been living with his parents all of his life, he decided on skipping on college and started work at the local diner in the area for 3 years now. "What time is it?"

"Uh… 1:49, almost 2…" His father called out across the room, watching the news report with his 10 year old daughter napping at his side. "You better run…"

"Yeah, I got it!" Ed shoveled the rest of his breakfast into his mouth, booked out the door and hopped onto his bike. "Bye mom! Bye dad! Bye Sophie!"

Waving off his son, he turned his gaze back to the local news. "Now, there are five cases of missing children since 7 am, today. There have been no know clues at this moment of who the culprit is. But police are currently patrolling the streets, searching for them. But it's recommended that you…"

He furrowed his brows seeing this, he stood up from his seat, turned off the tv, and walked out the door.

"Hon? Where are you going?" His wife tilted her head in confusion seeing his odd behavior.

"I believe… it's best that I make preparations, because today is the day."

"Thank you, come again!" Ed waved off their most recent customer. The diner he worked at was a very small place, but known for serving decent food at a fair price so it was quite anomaly that it didn't have customers crowding the place. Seeing how the place was empty at the moment, Ed took a seat at one of the tables and began to waste time on his phone.

He was in the midst of watching a video starring some guy with abnormally large forehead that was in the midst of reading comments on his phone, but this was interrupted when four familiar figures walked through the door.

"Hey! Yo employee guy! Serve us some food!" This loud voice nearly knocked him off of his chair by it's volume alone. Looking up, he saw Quinton, Olivia, Dylan, and Robyn giving him smiles.

"What the hell man…" Ed sighed, rubbing his ears. "You could of tapped my shoulder instead."

"But where's the fun in that?" Quinton playfully punched him in shoulder with the same stupid smile. "Now, c'mon take our orders. Chop! Chop!"

Walking behind the counter, Ed brought out a notepad and pencil. "Ok, what do you guys want…"

Quinton raised his hand up like a child in class. "I want a hamburger!"

"Okay… Olivia?"

"Give me a ham sandwich and a can of beer." She began tapping her fingers on the counter.

"Uhh" Ed raised a finger in response. "Isn't it a little early for that?"

"Hey, five o'clock is only two hours away..."

"Um.. ok. So what about you, Dylan?"

"Chicken parmesan.." He said in a low voice.

"Still a man of few words but ok…" Scribbling down his order, Ed walked over to his last friend. "Hey Rob! You got a new pair of glasses!" He gestured to her dark rim pair of glasses that looked to be freshly polished.

"Sure did!" she wobbled it with a light smile. "So how's Sophie?"

"She's doing well, that bike accident really did a number on her arm. But it's now heal-"

"Can you just take her order?" The three said in unison with shared frowns.

"uh, yeah! Yeah right!" Ed awkwardly laughed as he raised up his pencil and pad.

"So what do you want, Robyn?..."

"Um.. a chicken salad with a fruit smoothie, please."

"Oooh, trying to lose weight huh?" He cocked his right brow up with a mischievous smirk. "Trying to fit in those new dresses that people are talking about?"

"Nope, just trying to stay healthy…" she gave him, her own devilish smirk. "Unlike you, if you keep snacking. You might end up in a grave sooner than you think."

"Heh, yeah well-"

"You two can flirt later, we're hungry!"

Hearing Olivia's commanding voice, the two quickly stopped with small blushes on their face. After Ed went into the kitchen, Quinton leaned over to Robyn to whisper in her ear with an evil smirk. "When's the wedding?"

She merely frowned at him, the same blush still on her face.

As soon as Ed stepped into the kitchen, one of his co-workers walked right up to him and grabbed the notepad he wrote down. "Hey man, can you take out the trash? I'll start cooking these orders for the customers…"

Complying with a shrug, Ed heaved the trash bag over his shoulder and wobbled outside. After throwing the bag into the dumpster, he heard the quick scurrying of footsteps grow closer.

"Ed!" His little sister, Sophie, rushed over to her big brother with a hand behind her back. "Sophie, what are you doing here?"

She revealed a leather wallet behind her back. "You left this at the table…"

Taking it in his hands, he was about to thank her for returning his wallet but a large headache started to form. He curled his fingers on the sides of his head as he heard the same loud roar from his dream, ring through his ears.

"Ed?!" She grasped his arm as a way to prevent him from keeling over. "What's wrong?!"

But this headache left as soon as it came, allowing him to quickly recuperate himself. "I…" 'Just what was that?...'

But these thoughts vanished as the sounds of hissing rang through the area. He then saw a thin, golden tendril slither over to his sister. "Sophie!-" He cried out, but it was too late. As she was dragged away by her right leg.

"Ed!" She cried out for her brother as she flailed around in a desperate attempt to break free.

"Sophie!" He chased her into a nearby patch of grass. The tendril dragged her into the hole it had originated from, leaving a frantic Ed.

"Sophie!? Sophie!" He desperately began to claw through the dirt with his hands, but to no avail.

Unbeknownst to him, the same tendril started to inch closer to his own leg… But retreated as it felt a large vibration in the ground.

"Ed?" His friends ran over to his side, Robyn holding him down before he could continue. "Ed, what's wrong?" Robyn asked as she patted his arm.

"It.. it took her!"

"Wha-"

"It took Sophie!"

"What are you talking about? Who did?"

But before he could blurt out, a large tendril revealed itself. This one resembled a large monster worm… with sharp teeth. The five reeled back as it tighten its jaws.

"W-what the hell is that?!" Quinton shrieked as it inched closer to them. They immediately picked themselves up and began running down the alleyway.

It stayed on their path as they had vaulted over several fences, whipping past them and destroying whatever it struck. They stopped and hid behind a corner inside of a junkyard, getting the chance to catch their breath.

"That thing… it took-" Ed muttered with doleful eyes as kneeled down. Robyn scooted over to him and wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "I know, it's ok…"

But before they could blink, the same tendril erupted from nowhere and ensnared Robyn. It lifted her up into the air as she shrieked for help.

"ROBYN!" The four grabbed nearby steel poles and began hitting it, but they were whipped aside. Allowing the monster to continue holding onto Robyn. As he laid onto the ground, Ed saw how he was the only one that was left conscious. Meaning that it up to him to help Robyn.

"Rob!-" In the midst of his cry, Ed felt that same headache run through his head with the same roars pulsing. But this time, it was stronger than before. In fact, he felt stronger as heard each roar.

In this surge of energy, he rushed over to the tendril and began clawing at it. The tendril dropped an unconscious Robyn and focused its attention on Ed.

It wrapped itself around Ed's waist and like a snake ready to strike, it unhinged it's jaw. Revealing it's razor sharp teeth that looked as if it could kill a large elephant with one single bite. But before it could strike Ed, a loud roar erupted from the skies. The vibration alone, caused the tendril to drop Ed next to his friends.

It was that same dragon from before. It chomped down on the tendril, whipping it around and slammed it into a nearby wall. The tendril coiled itself, getting ready to strike back. But before it could get the chance, the dragon laid down a wave of fire on it which caused it to retreat back to where it came from.

The dragon turned his gaze to Ed, seeing him and his friends sprawled onto the floor. It turned it's gaze back to Ed and friends, seeing them sprawled onto the ground. It gave one last roar before Ed passed out.

As he slowly opened his eyes, Ed saw that him and his friends were in a dimly lit place that resembled a warehouse. "Guys.. guys, wake up!" He first crawled over to Quinton and began shaking him.

"Mhmm…" As Dante started shaking Quinton, the blonde boy hugged onto him with a light smile. "Oh, baby…"

'oh god, Oh God, OH GOD!' Ed exclaimed in mind as Quinton's face inched closer to his cheek and his grip began to tighten. "Bad touch! BAD TOUCH!"

Hearing Ed's screams caused him to wake from his dream, seeing that he held onto not a sexy girl but... Ed.

"aaaAAAAHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAHHHH!"

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!-"*

"Will you two shut up!" Olivia hissed at the two as she picked herself up off the floor. The other three began stretching their back as they arose from their slumber.

"You're awake!" Ed stood up from the floor and gave a wide smile to his friends.

"Yeah, thanks to you…" Dylan deadpanned as he began rubbing his left ear.

Olivia sneered with a dark expression at the two, "If you two need a room… we could give it to you.."

But both Quinton and Ed looked at each other and simultaneously shivered. "Yeah… let's not do that." Ed jabbed a finger to them as Quinton bobbed his head in agreement.

"But anyways… where are we?" And on cue, the room lit up in a bright light. There was a tv set connected to large radio box. Five individual colored motorcycles that were in the shape of horses. And the thing that really stood out, was five pairs of devices attached to an armband that was laid out on a large tray.

The piece of the left was had a silver ring attached to it and was labeled 'Thunder' with pink, yellow, blue, green, and red bars on it. The piece on the right was a large black oval with golden edges... Just what are these-

"Woah… check out these bikes!" Quinton bounced over to the blue motorcycle, rubbing its handlebars in his hands. "Hey Dyl! Look at these babies!"

But he simply widened his eyes as he gazed upon the bikes. "Are we in some sorta… engineering warehouse?" He stroked the side of the green motorcycle in curiosity.

"I dunno know… but man, look how cool these things are…" As Quinton drooled over the bikes, Ed turned his gaze towards the devices on the tray. He could hear faint roars of the same dragon as he inched closer to it. And as he held a pair in his hands, he could feel a weird sensation that to flowed into his body.

"I see you are interested…" A familiar voice rang out from the shadows. And stepping out was Mr. Yeung with a light smile on his face.

"Dad?" Ed went bug-eyed seeing his father nonchalantly step out of the shadows. Mr. Yeung walked over to the five with his hands behind his back. "Dad… I-It's Sophie-"

"I know…" He placed a hand on Ed's shoulder, calming him down. "She was taken by a monster…"

The five simultaneous gaped hearing this, "H-How did you…" He hiked a thumbs over to the TV set. "She was captured… But we can help her, along with the other kids taken."

Dylan spoke out, taking a step forward. "Yeah, we call the police-"

"No, even if the police did believe us… They can't stop it. But I know who can." The five perked up hearing this, inching closer to him.

"The Power Rangers…"

With this, Ed's face started to glow and began slightly bouncing. "Oooh, you have connections to some Rangers? Who you gonna call? The Space Rangers? Lightspeed? Or… The Silver Guardians!? They have two Red Rangers!"

"It's you.."

"Yeah! The… wha?"

"You five will become Power Rangers…" The five were dumbstruck, only gazing at Mr. Yeung with wide eyes. "Do you remember the story of the war of the Thunder and Earth Clan? Well, it had more truth than you thought." In their hands, their individual gems given to them from their sensei formed in their hands. They looked in awe seeing their gems just… emerge out of nowhere.

He gestured to the device that Ed held his hands, "This right here, is the Aura Morpher. This will allow you called upon the power of Aura and become Rangers."

"...Look, I know I do sound insane. But, you've seen what we're dealing with." Yeung glanced at the five with pleading eyes. "Please… this is the only way to save my daughter…"

Ed looked at his friends, holding the morpher tightly and giving a willful nod.

"Ok… I'm in." Robyn picked up the device, twirling it in her hand.

"Let's try it!" Quinton swiped the morpher, slipping in onto his arm.

"Well, won't hurt to try…" Dylan lifted up the morpher with a stern expression.

"….Olivia?" Everyone in the room looked at the girl with wide eyes. Seeing that the pressure was on, she crossed her arms and deeply frowned.

"...Fine!" She threw her hands, plucking the device and slipped it onto her hand. "I'll try it!"

"Ok, with that settled..." Ed turned to his father with a slight tilt of his head. "Where do we start?"

A/N: Yeah, I know that I've taken elements from the first Dairanger episode but it's a nice episode! I couldn't help myself. Also, I threw in a reference to a certain YouTuber. ( Which I think he'd be shaking his head that he's tied to a fanfic but whatever...)

Anyways, the next chapter will be up real soon. Right now, I'm finishing it up. So until then, I'll seen you next time.
