Lexi slowly stepped out of the SUV taking in her surroundings, turning back she grabbed her bags out of the back. "Thanks Mike."
"I'm not done yet, let me help you get all that into the dorms." Mike laughed as he stepped out of the vehicle and made his way to the passenger side, "Your mother would kill me if I didn't help you."
Lexi chuckled, "I can do it, you don't have to help."
Mike smiled, "I want to, I hate just dropping you off in an unfamiliar place." He grabbed two of the large bags. "Your mother told me exactly where to go, follow me."
Lexi looked around as they made their way to the dorms, "I forgot how beautiful this place was."
Mike nodded, "Last time you were here would of been the 8th grade gala."
"I know, I need to start being more supportive." She smiled at a familiar face as they came to a stop. "Hello Lex!"
"Steven, glad to see your back." Lex smiled as they shook hands.
"Senior year, I wouldn't miss this for the world." Lexi replied as she sat her bags down to take the room key from her pocket.
"One more year on the top of the food chain for some."
"Not for us, we will never be at the bottom."
Lex nodded, "Exactly, we will always be on top. I'll see you at Senior orientation."
Lexi took a deep breath as Lex walked away, placing the key in the door she unlocked it pushing it open. "Oliver!"
Oliver laughed, "Yeah, I'm here." He tossed his book onto the bed as he stood, "I was bored, so I got here a little early."
Lexi tried desperatly to avert her eyes from the shirtless form in front of her. "So..." She started as she rummaged thru a bag, "Senior year."
"Doesn't seem like it should be, I still remember our first day here like it was yesterday." Oliver chuckled as he slipped his shirt on, "So is your sister coming to the Senior Gala tonight?"
Lexi shook her head, "No, she has a thing for back to school tonight in Smallville." She chuckled as Oliver sighed, "She said to tell you she misses you and she's sorry she couldn't make it tonight."
Mike slapped Lexi on the back, "I'm going to cut out Steven, your mother should be here this evening."
"That's cool." Lexi turned to smile at him, "Thanks for the help Mike." She plopped on the bed as the door closed behind him, "I hate that parents come in tonight, so many of them are far to meddlesome."
"Meaning Lionel..." Oliver laughed, "I don't think your hatred for that man will ever die."
"Neither will yours."
"Touche!" Oliver grabbed his jacket off the chair, "Let's get out of here, we have an hour until Orientation and I say we see who all is back."
Lexi grabbed her jacket off the bed and quickly threw it on ."Let's go."
As Lexi stepped in front of Oliver to walk out the door he snickered, "You smell pretty."
Lexi slugged him in the shoulder, "I had my shampoo packed so I used Lexi's that she had at the loft."
"Better not make a habit of that." Oliver shoved Lexi playfully, "I don't see her enough and just the smell of her shampoo drives me crazy!"
"Shut up!" Lexi laughed as she smacked him again, "I don't swing that way."
Oliver shook his head, "Sometimes I don't know what to do with you."
"Nothing can be done." Lexi laughed, "Others have tried and failed."
Lexi sat uncomfortably thru the entire orientation as she continually caught Oliver watching her a little too closely. Leaning over she whispered, "This is so boring."
Oliver chuckled softly before whispering back, "It's almost over, quit fidgeting, Steven doesn't do that." He smiled as she looked to him in shock, "Can't fool me, I know you too well."
Lexi chuckled nervously, "Am I that obvious?"
"No." Oliver shook his head, "No, it's like I said I know you too well." He leaned closer looking around to make sure he wouldn't be overheard, "The others will never know, you just have certain ticks that I can pick out easily."
"If you can see thru the charade, I'm sure others can too."
Oliver smiled, "We'll fix it, don't worry." He quickly rubbed her leg, "No one will know, trust me." He quickly glanced around as he sat back in his seat.
"Again I want to say welcome back." The headmaster smiled, "Let's have a good year, dismissed."
Lexi stuck close to Oliver throughout the gala that evening trying desperatly to act like Steven, she constantly double checked her actions making sure that she wasn't letting her quirks show thru.
"Relax." Oliver chuckled, "Just have fun, don't look so uptight."
Lexi chuckled, "I'm trying to relax I swear I am."
Oliver smiled as he leaned closer to whisper in her ear, "Try harder." He bumped her shoulder, "Let's take a walk."
Lexi took a deep breath as they stepped out the doors into the warm end of summer air."This is going to be impossible, there is no way I can pull this charade off."
"Yes you can, and I'll help you do it." Oliver chuckled, "I was thinking Lexi... this summer you know after school is over we could go on a trip before we start college."
"Before you start college." Lexi chuckled, "I have to make up a class or two from last year before I can graduate."
"Last year was great baby." Oliver smiled, "If you would have just gone to a private school like your mother wanted, your absences would of been overlooked there like mine were here."
"Hell I'm letting my mother pay off Smallville High so I can be here and that is giving me the hebes... just think if I was enrolled in a school where she could pay for anything she wanted."
Oliver pulled her thru the trees to a small trail, "As much trouble as you get into she'd be broke."
Lexi playfully shoved him, "You're one to talk... she has to bail your ass out all the damn time."
"Seriously..." He pulled her into the shadows, "Let your mom pay the school off so you can graduate this year and sail away with me for the summer."He smiled, "Or let me pay the school off so you can come with me... all summer..." He lightly kissed her cheek, "No one but us and a small crew... no one to tell us what to do or remind us how we have to act to uphold appearences."
"That is a tempting offer.." She smirked as she leaned in kissing him softly, "I might just have to take you up on it. But for now let's concentrate on getting me thru this alive."
...
"So what club are we going to?" Lexi chuckled as she rummaged thru a bag, "And who all is going again?" Quickly she pulled a shirt over her head before ploping on the bed next to Oliver.
"Just a few of the guys." Oliver shook his head, "We'll probably go to Electric Blue."
"Electric Blue! Ollie I can't go there... I... We... Steven knows too many people that go there!"
"Relax, you'll be fine." Oliver laughed, "Besides you know how your brother is... it's not like you have a girlfriend to deal with."
Lexi smirked, "It's not like you do either." She circled her fingertips on his leg, "Whatdaya say we have a little fun this evening...bet I can get more phone numbers that you."
"Feeling a little frisky are we?"
"Hummm... let's see... two weeks here... no sex..." Lexi laughed, "I just need something to do to distract my mind from the mental images of you jerkin off in the shower."
"This hasn't been a picnic for me either." Oliver placed his hand on hers, "You have no idea what I want to do to you at this very moment."
"Oh I have a pretty good idea." She quickly pinned him to the bed, "Did you close the door all the way?"
Oliver sighed, "Nope... I wasn't expecting this to happen since we had both decided it was a bad idea to do more than steal a few kisses here at school." He smiled, "Take the wig off and let your hair down... anyone walks in they'll think I snuck you in."
"And if they ask about Steven?"
"I'll tell em he stepped out for a bit to give us some alone time."
"Are you sure they will buy that crap?" Lexi quickly hit the floor as the door opened. "Hey Brent."
"Ready to go?" Brent stepped into the room, "Let's not keep the ladies waiting."
"Looking for my other boot." Lexi called out as she looked under the bed, "You two go ahead... I'll meet you there."
"Queen might need a few alone before we leave." Brent laughed, "Dude you need to get laid... we so need to get you a random hook up or sneak Stevens sister in ."
"Ew... don't mention my sisters sex life in my presence." Lexi laced her boots up. She chuckled as she looked to Oliver, "Need a few minutes to take care of that?"
"I'll be fine... my mind just wandered." Oliver smirked, "I'd tell you where my mind went but you would kill me."
Lexi slapped Oliver on the back, "Damn straight I would... now come on let's go!"
...
"Shhhhhh..." Oliver chuckled as he opened the window, "You first."
"I'll get in by myself." Lexi whispered as she leaned on the wall for support, "No offense but you are a little plastered."
"So are you."
"Shhhhhh" Lex crawled into the room landing on the floor with a soft thud, she groaned as Oliver fell in behind her, "Squishing me..." She choked out as she attempted to shove him off. Suddenly she stopped dead still, "Happy to see me?"
Oliver smirked as he shifted his weight again, "MmmmHummm...very."
"You alright in there?" Mr. Mitchell called out from the hallway as he rattled the doorknob.
"Fine." Oliver replied, "Just tripped in the dark."
Mr. Mitchell chuckled, "Just thought I'd better check."
Lexi giggled softly as she heard Mr. Mitchell walk farther down the hall, "Now where were we?"
"We should stop..." Oliver sighed as he rolled off of her," Mr. Mitchell will pass by the door at least another five times."
"Might be a good idea." Lexi unlaced her boots and kicked them off before pulling herself up into her bed, "Don't really want to tho..."
"Me eiher." Oliver slowly climbed into his bed pulling the sheets up around himself.
Lexi sighed as she rolled over to face him, "Night Ollie."
Oliver chuckled softly as he lifted the sheets up slightly, "Doors locked... sleep with me?" HIs eyes followed her every movement as she slid from her bed and silently crossed the small space between them, "Come on beautiful..." Reaching out he pulled her in close smiling as he felt the warmth of her body against his exposed skin. "Come with me this summer."
"Only if we spend every night just like this..."
Oliver smiled as he softly kissed her neck, "Wouldn't want to spend them any other way..."
