The pong ball panted as she was running late again, noticing the two white paddles looking at her in annoyance. She chuckled nervously as she blushed slightly.
"S-sorry I was a bit late... I was hanging out in the PC with all the other arcadey games..."
"That gives you no excuse." The right paddle stated as he floated up and down. "Do you know how long we have to wait for you every time?"
"Yeah. And you stay up way too late." The left paddle added on as he moved slower than the right paddle. "You're either going to have to have some self control, or we'll put you into a curfew."
"You can't do that to me!" The pong ball exclaimed as she kept on bouncing. "I'm the star of this game, and you two clearly need me!"
The two paddles looked at each other as they scoffed, turning back to the pong ball.
"Oh don't worry, we can find replacements." The two paddles said in unison as they loomed over the lone pong ball, who began feeling nervous as she gulped.
And it was then that the pong ball was replaced with a new pong ball. And this, the cycle began anew...
