"Kakashi.." Iruka began but was deterred when the man whose attention he was desperately seeking shook his head.
"Kakas-" Iruka recognized the warning in the narrowing of Kakashi's visible eye and immediately lowered his gaze.
"I…Kaka" this time Iruka received a ferocious glare for his efforts. He lowered his gaze once again allowing Kakashi to finish speaking without further interruptions.
"Dammit Iruka, what the Hell got into you?" Kakashi growled as he dug his fingers into the flesh of Iruka's forearm. "You know better than to interrupt when I'm speaking."
"Forgive me Hokage-sama"
Kakashi relaxed his grip when Iruka once again lowered his head.
"I apologize for interrupting your meeting with the Daimyo and other nobles, but what is the proper protocol to use when attempting to notify a Hokage who refuses to wear the traditional robes that his pants are unzipped?
