The fire crackled and popped outside. Renn lie awake, Torak and Alitia had fallen asleep but every time Renn closed her eyes she just kept reliving the day that Alitia had come to camp, the jealousy, the rage that she felt seeing her with Torak, it was unlike anything she every felt. Her eyes slowly began to close and sleep finally washed over her. "Hey! Wake up Renn!" said Torak' s voice from outside the shelter
Renn slowly forced herself out of the warmth of the shelter into the crisp cool morning air Torak and Alitia sat across the fire from one another Renn sat down next to Torak leaning her head on his shoulder. She had gotten used to the idea of her and Torak being together, it was the thing she could thank Alitia, for but besides that she did nothing but flirt with Torak.
Torak began to stand up "I'm going to check some snares" he said breaking the silence. As Torak wondered off along long the trail Renn began repairing some holes in her jerkin. Wolf was lying on the other side of the clearing his eyes fixed on Alitia, he always seemed to be watching her very cautiously. "Toraks been gone a long time" she said, worried
"You can't be serious, he's only been gone a few minutes" she scowled at Alitia. She couldn't believe how obsessed Alitia had become with Torak.
"I'm going to look for him" she said, getting up
"Whatever" Renn snickered at the stupidity of this girl.
It was Wolf who warned Renn someone was outside the shelter at first she assumed it was Torak, and Alitia but Wolfs reaction was much too vicious, ears laid back, teeth bared Renn rushed to grab her bow and axe but before she could reach them something struck her in the back of the head, she blacked out. She awoke in a daze, her hands and feet were bound
"so you're awake" said a voice from somewhere she could not see but she knew the voice all too well
