Okay so this isnt really Pezberry, it's Dantana, but I wasn't sure where to put this and it's been sitting in my docs forever... so I put it here:P Although it isnt pezberry there is a strong Pezberry friendship which is what most of the story consists of.

"So... I guess that's goodbye?"

Santana felt her heart shrink just a little as she said these words, and sadness pooled inside of her. She really didn't want this beautiful blonde girl to leave her. Santana had been studying her up and down in these past few minutes- from her tall, red leather boots to her cute, bleached hair.

Dani smiled just a little and flicked her dark eyes to the cement sidewalk. She took a step closer towards Santana, closing most of the distance between them. Santana could feel fireworks going off inside of her body as Dani looked up into her eyes. Santana could see exactly where this was going.

"For now," Dani said with a soft, warming smile. And, just as Santana had suspected, Dani leaned in, pressed her lips softly against hers just for a heartbeat, then pulled away, leaving Santana with a smile, yet also leaving her with a need for more.

No, not just a need. It was a hunger. The kiss was so short-lived it felt like it was teasing her, like a 30-second preview for a movie you really, really want to see. She wanted the real thing. And suddenly, she wanted Dani so badly. Not tomorrow, not later. But now. Before the kiss, she had just felt an attraction. Now, she could feel the lust already beginning to form inside of her.

Of course, Dani had to get back to her apartment, and Santana would just have to deal with her sudden, pleasurable desire. "See you around," she said, looking her quickly up and down before she walked up the steps with her guitar, looking incredible in her bright red waitress uniform. Santana watched her as she entered her apartment building, then looked down at her identical waitress outfit, biting her lower lip and smiling.

She couldn't stop thinking about that kiss as she made her way to the subway station. It was driving her crazy already, and it had happened less than five minutes ago. Santana could tell Dani had meant to tease her like that, leaving her with the feeling of desperately needing more, and Santana found this incredibly sexy. Biting her lower lip once more, she began making her way down the subway stairs, the dawn light casting beautiful, early-morning rays of sunshine on the city of New York.

She couldn't stop thinking about Dani.

"Santana! Details. Now."

The second Santana had walked through the apartment door, she had been bombarded by Rachel's questions. Santana had just told her that Dani had sang Here Comes the Sun with her, followed by a kiss (which she was still thinking about).

Santana rolled her eyes. "It was super small," described Santana. "Like a peck on the lips. Not a big deal."

"Yes a big deal!" Rachel exclaimed dramatically. "Every good relationship starts out like this, with a cute little act of romance." Rachel then proceeded to smirk. "I knew it was a good idea to leave you two alone for the last ten minutes of the graveyard shift," she said, raising her eyebrows up and down. She then grinned, gesturing to herself. "I guess this lesbian matchmaker did her job pretty damn well..."

Santana rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but crack a smile. She felt herself give into a yawn and her eyelids felt heavy. "I didn't get even a minute of sleep last night," she moaned. "I'm going to sleep."

"Kay," replied Rachel, who was oddly in an energetic mood. She had been up all night as well. Santana couldn't wait to crash into her bed and let the warm, dark embrace of sleep cuddle her in its arms.

"Wake up, Santana! Dani's calling you!"

Santana moaned deeply, feeling the sleep leave her body as Rachel's voice brought her back to reality.

"W-what?" she muttered. She opened her eyes and saw Rachel practically straddled on top of her, her face close to hers. She jumped a little at this sight.

"What the hell? Why are you on top of me?!" she exclaimed, moving her ebony hair to the side.

"Because Dani is calling you! Hurry, pick it up before it goes to voicemail!" she exclaimed.

Santana suddenly became nervous. "What do I say? Why is she calling me?"

Rachel practically shoved the phone towards her. "Just ANSWER it already!"

"Fine, fine, calm down!" she said, rolling her dark eyes. She took the phone from her friend, pressed the green button and put it to her ear.

"Hello?" she said.

"Hey, Santana," she heard Dani say on the other line. "It's Dani."

Rachel, who was still on top of Santana, leaned in, putting her ear really close to the phone. Santana attempted to angrily swat her away, silently mouthing to leave, but Rachel wouldn't budge.

"Dani! Hey," she faked a surprised tone, as if she didn't know who's calling. "What's up?" She grabbed the pen off her nightstand and began to draw little dark blue hearts on her hand.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to come and have dinner with me," she said. "Nothing fancy or formal or anything. We can watch a movie afterward, if you want. It'll be just you and me, in my apartment..."

Santana felt her heart do flips in her chest. Dani seriously had a way of using her words (and lips) to make Santana go crazy for her. "Y-Yeah, that sounds really fun," she tried to say coolly, but was failing to.

Rachel tried to lean in closer. "What is she saying? Did she invite you somewhere?" whispered Rachel. She was so close to Santana she was pressing on her waist to keep herself from falling on Santana. Rachel's cheek was brushing against her own, which made it harder to hold the phone as well. Being that Rachel was a girl, and for that matter, quite attractive (she wouldn't have thought this a couple years ago, but Rachel had completely changed her look), and pressing up against her so closely, for a split second Santana found what Rachel was doing to feel incredibly... good. She shook her head, freeing herself of the ridiculous feeling, and glared at her in a playful way and put four fingers on Rachel's shoulder, then exerted a force, causing Rachel to topple onto her back on the bed. As she did this, Dani continued to talk.

"So... how about 7?" she said. "Or is an hour from now not enough time?"

Santana squinted her eyes in confusion. "Wait. What do you mean an hour from now? What time is it?"

She heard Dani laugh, which made the butterflies in her stomach dance around with even more ferocity. "It's 6. Don't you know what time it is?"

6:00 in the evening?! I slept through the whole day?! Santana thought frantically. "Oh, yeah," she said, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry. I'm just so tired..."

"Don't worry about it. So, see you in a little bit?"

Rachel had gotten back up from the shove she had been given. "Say yes! Say yes!" Rachel repeated excitedly. Santana mouthed 'Shut up!' then answered Dani. "Yeah, totally. Sounds great. Bye." She quickly hung up before anything seriously embarrassing. Rachel squealed and ran out of the room, coming back with some of Santana's clothes- a red flannel with a gray hood and dark skinny jeans, along with cute brown leather knee-high boots. "You should totally wear this," she began to babble. Santana immediately began to tune her out, partly because she wasn't exactly interested in what Rachel had to say, but mostly because she couldn't stop thinking about Dani, and the incredible way she made her feel. And that kiss... it was driving her crazy. She needed more. She smiled, and grabbed the outfit Rachel had brought in, getting up off of the bed.

"This will be perfect."
