"Hey, Ally..." I tried to casually say. She turned her head, and stared at me with those big brown eyes. "Yes?" she said.

"I...um..." I was interupted by Dez and Trish walking in. "Hey guys!" ,Dez said happily, "Have you seen a peacock running around?"

I tried my best not to yell at Dez. "It's not a peacock, its a parrot! And have you guys seen it?" Trish asked. "Nope. There's no animals in the store." Ally said.

I loved how she was so strict with the store rules. It was adorable. "What about Owen?" Trish fought back. "He's not an animal!" Ally argued. "No, we haven't seen the peacock...parrot...thing!" I said, trying to mentally tell Dez and Trish to go away. "Oh, you're trying to confess to Ally, aren't you?" Dez grinned evilly. "Um...no!?" My voice got higher at the end, making it sound like a question. "Confess about what?" Ally was curious.I

"Nothing!" I said, while running upstairs. My face was burning, and I'm sure it was as red as a tomato.

I sprouted out on the piano bench and placed my hands on the keys. I really had no idea what I was doing here. I didn't have any melodies or lyrics in mind, but I just felt like I needed to play. I struggled to get the feelings out, but I wrote some words on paper.

Hey Ally,

you know, I've liked you for a long long time.

Hey Ally,

you know, these feelings just won't come out.

Hey Ally,

hey girl, I've liked you for a really long time.

Hey Ally,

you know, I find it really hard to rhyme!

I set the paper by a brown, leather book and walked downstairs. Ally was gone, so I could safely make it home without having to explain anything.

Tomorrow, I thought to myself, is the day I will confess to Ally Dawson.
